I have been wearing glasses and, so, seeing optometrists since 5th grade. Dr. Nomura is hands down the best optometrist I’ve ever seen! He is thorough, professional, and patient. He will take his time answering any of your questions, and you never feel rushed. I have recommended him to several friends and family, and they all agree he’s the best! I’m also heartbroken that he is no longer at Target. I’ve since heard he’s moved his practice up to Santa Clarita. We miss you, Dr. Nomura!

Located in Target, appointment was on time as expected. Went above and beyond in the eye examination. Took the time to explain everything, would recommend to everyone! He only performs the eye exams, so there’s no pressure to buy contacts/glasses there either.

Dr. Nomura has given eye exams to me, my husband, and my 18-year-old daughter. He really knows what he’s doing. In the case of my daughter, his thorough exam and careful questioning uncovered an astigmatism, which he addressed with a new eyeglasses and contacts prescription. My daughter’s incidence of headaches went down after this. My husband also was prescribed contacts which worked better for him than his old ones. I haven’t seen a better value for an eye exam in the San Gabriel area(about $ 100).

I’ve been going to Linden since I was a child but Mr. Nomura is such a wonderful DR. that I will be getting my eyes checked by him from now on. P. S. Did I mentioned that the price was much better then Lindens or Lens Crafters.

Very thorough and professional. I have been going to Roger Nomura for the past three years and I’m not going anywhere else anytime soon. He does all the tests: the ones with color, the puff of air, the double vision test, and probably more. I’ve been to numerous optometrists in the past(hospitals, clinics, private practices… I’ve been to them all), and he’s the only person I’ve gone back to. He is incredibly patient, too. I can never remember if the first lens or the second lens is clearer, and he patiently repeats the test for this forgetful girl. The last time I went, the exam for glasses and contacts was $ 95. I have astigmatism and those pesky Acuvue astigmatism contacts that works well for everyone else… is not okay for me. Here, he ordered samples of various different lenses and had them in within a week or two, for me to try out. It took three(!!) different samples before I found a lens that was comfortable for me. Everybody needs this guy as their optometrist! Oh, and he does Saturday appointments, too. Great for those of us who just can’t fit in an appointment during Monday-Friday business hours.

This optmetrist is located in Target off of Colorado, in the very far corner of the store. If you don’t buy hair dye, condoms or tampons you’ll miss it completely. My optometrist was Roger Nomura and he was very knowledgeable and straightforward. He answered ALL of my questions(I had a lot of random ones) and told me not to squint. We did a color test and a 3d test(none of my optometrists ever did that before) and I was in and out in the blink of an eye. He actually gave me two prescriptions, one for contacts and then added one for glasses by request. And he didn’t charge me extra. I can’t say how grateful I am for really professional health /medical providers! * They also have a frames and lenses place next door– you’re looking for spend about $ 200+ for a set, but I like the styles and they carry Versace and DKNY frames at a good price.
