I’ve been seeing Dr Ann Kim for 7+ years now, and have found her services to always be top notch. She’s knowledgeable and through with her checkups, recently I had a corneal abrasion and she was concerned enough to have me come back for the next several days to monitor the healing process. In general, she’s very personable, and willing to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend her services.

Dr. Kim is great! Personable, patient and willing to accommodate and answer any and all questions to make you feel comfortable. She doesn’t rush through the exam and even screens my son’s vision! Nice office large selection of high end frames.

Great staff I love this place. They have a good selection of glasses. I receive a better selection for my insurance they also have great prices for non insurance patients!

I have been coming to Dr. Kim since I was maybe 7 years old. There were two times when I had different doctors and I don’t believe that those doctors were bad but Dr Kim doesn’t only «worry» about your prescription, but also the fit, the materials of contacts/​glasses and what is MOST healthy and compatible for your eyes. I feel that she is so genuine in her practice and treatment.

This place is the absolute best. I have been coming to them for eye exams/​glasses/​contacts for years and I have never been disappointed, even once. Dr. Kim is so caring and friendly; she treats you like a real person and also provides top-​notch medical services. The staff is very patient and kind and always very courteous. The office is clean and welcoming with lots of varied types of eyewear to try out, including many brandnames. I have some health problems so I end up going to a LOT of doctors, and in all my time, all over this valley and beyond, I have never had better treatment than this office. Great for getting new glasses or contacts, keeping up with vision care, or getting an eye exam. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I bought a pair of progressive lenses and from the very beginning, they never fit properly and the quality of the lenses was questionable. I went back multiple times to get adjustments and the receptionist (older blond woman) would never properly adjust the glasses. She kept trying to convince me that they were even, when clearly, they were not. I felt she didn’t know what she was doing. Also, the scratch-​resistant coating on the lenses was not good. They scratched up immediately, even when using a lens cleaning cloth. My vision seems to have gotten worse because of the ill-​fitted frames and scratched lenses. After spending a good amount of money here, I expected to walk away with a proper pair of glasses. I’ve had better satisfaction at Lens Crafters.

I recently moved to Palmdale and began working in Santa Clarita, so going to my previous eye doctor in North Torrance is not an option for me. Plus, after the last few bad experiences I was looking for a change. I found Advanced Vision Care Optometry on Unilocal and made an appointment in March. The lobby is nice, with a good selection of frames, however as other Unilocalers have stated, there is little to no seating available. I did not have to wait long to be seen by the doctor. She is very friendly, and she is very helpful. She is the reason that I came back to the establishment even after receiving poor customer service from the receptionists. I ended up getting fitted for contacts and getting eye glasses on the same day. The eye doctor was patient and worked hard to find contacts that I would like.
After the third trial for the lenses I never received a call to come back into the office for a followup, so that the contacts could be ordered. I was a bit of tired of spending my lunch hour here, so I just kept putting it off. Unfortunately, I really need my contacts now and I haven’t been able to get a hold of anyone. Its disappointing that the eye doctor who is wonderful, has such horrible staff. I paid for my glasses and my lens fitting upfront and when I came back in for a follow up appointment and to pick up my glasses, the girl at the front desk tried to charge me AGAIN. The eye doctor however, remembered that I had paid and told the girl that I was okay to leave.
I like the eye doctor here and I really think that she is a great optometrist. She listens to your concerns, and she does her best to find the product that works for you. However, her staff need to learn to provide a better level of customer service. From greeting you upon entering the establishment to assisting you with any questions and concerns about frames and pricing. If I ask a question about frame sizes and options at least make an effort to act interested. Overall, I think that I would find a different eye doctor for future visits.

Advanced Vision Care Optometry has been a wonderfully pleasant experience since day one.
I initially made an appointment here for an eye exam. I hadn’t had one in years because for some reason I fear eye exams. It was quick and the staff was very friendly.
The result was a pair of stylish glasses that were fairly inexpensive. The woman who helped me pick them out was very patient and honest.
Next I got set up for a contact fitting with Dr. Kim and another kind associate, because as cute as the glasses were I’m not a fan of frames.
I am so happy with my contacts and cannot believe the improvement in my vision. Everything looks so much clearer and I’m elated that I finally found a place that has removed my fear from optometrist visits.
Ordering/​booking appointments is quick and easy, Dr. Kim is friendly and easy to talk to, and the staff is very patient and nice. They also carry fashion forward frames such as Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Coach, DVF, Banana Republic, Tory Burch, and a whole lot more.
I would definitely recommend Advanced Vision Care Optometry to anyone who is in need of some vision tlc.

Great Doctor and professional the doctor was patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. She cares for your concerns and answers all your questions without hassle or attitude. I used to go to lenscrafters before and never liked it, I will recommend this Dr and location to others.

What a great experience again. It was time for new glasses and evaluation. I received an appointment right away, the new location is even nicer than the last one, with a bigger selection of glasses. Dr. Kim and her staff were on point again. They are welcoming, nice, knowledgeable etc. My glasses came in within 7 days and they called me right away to inform me that they were in. Another great experience.

Dr. Kim is very thorough and patient. She takes her time with her patients and really wants to check everything. I have been going to her for a few years and now my entire family sees her. We have never had any issue with her accepting our insurance. We are very happy with her!

Love! Kim was the sweetest to my kids made them feel comfortable. Staff is great and very nice. They’re on top of things and very organized. Facility is clean and quite. Nothing bad to say at all.

I’ve been going to Dr Kim when she worked at Lens Crafter and been following her to her location now. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for the best.

I have been going to Ann Kim since she opened.
She is kind and careful, using the most up-​to-​date optometry equipment. (Ever had the glaucoma test? Remember how irritating that can be, even painful?) Ann uses equipment that not only produces accurate metrics on eyes, but is completely painless!
I value my visits to Ann since my whole life depends on me being able to see and read flawlessly. Also, wearing glasses that have not been properly prescribed usually results in headaches, worse still migraine!
Lastly, Ann’s staff, Candy and Grace, are attentive to eye wear and always make sure I walk out of the store with clean and properly-​adjusted glasses. I am grateful for the service. Each time I get a «tune-​up» my glasses look and feel as good as new!
I simply don’t know a better place to go for optometry, whether it is the easy appointment-​booking and handy follow-​up reminders on my phone, Grace’s careful and considerate testing with the machines in the back, and constant vigilance of the patient’s comfort, or Candy’s winning individual adjustment of the eye wear.
Meantime, master optometry doctor, Ann, has a quiet and gentle manner about her consultations that instils peace in me knowing that I have had the best possible care given to me that is currently available!

This is my 2^nd year going to see Dr Kim after having my previous optometrist for about 20 years. She is great! The exam was thorough and I didn’t feel rushed! I have finally found a new doctor that I really like!

Dr. Kim is quite good –thorough and patient– but nobody reviews all your test results with you, the front desk staff is not very nice (especially the older blonde woman), and they don’t have anywhere up front to sit while waiting (unless you make yourself comfortable at one of the tables they use for fitting glasses.) Also a bit peeved they didn’t call me when my contacts came in and when I arrived for my fitting the woman up front had no idea what was going on (but Dr. Kim was on the ball when she arrived.) Prices are fair and a nice selection of eyewear.
UPDATE: after six months of haggling I gave up trying to get my prescription from them. They didn’t keep track of the samples I was given, I had to keep calling asking for the final Rx, they never knew the answer, kept saying they would ask the doctor and call back… they NEVER returned my call. I never got my Rx, never got what I paid for. The doctor is decent but I cannot imagine this place staying open — they have no idea what they are doing. I have to go elsewhere and start over to get my contacts.

I have been taking my daughter to see Dr. Kim for several years. She is excellent with children. Very thorough and professional. She offers the best in vision care with both contacts and glasses. I also appreciate the large selection of fashion sunglasses in her office. I recommend Dr. Kim for your family vision care.

Dr Kim is very thorough and patient. My entire family visits her. The office is organized and the front office staff is efficient. I always recommend her to my friends looking for an optometrist in the Santa Clarita area.
She also accepts our vision insurance plan. The prices on glasses and contacts are competitive.
