Linda has been training for many years at various equestrian centers, including the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank, but purchased this location in 2001.
Just had my first adult riding lesson and it was wonderful. Linda knows exactly how to teach in a way that gets results. Best lesson ever.

I couldn’t even put into words how incredible Linda & Jump For Joy is even if I tried! Linda has a glistening personality and is sure to make your lesson the most enjoyable and still educational lesson you’ll ever have. It’s not a strict and uptight environment, so soaking up the knowledge and techniques to reach the next skill level is super easy with Linda. I will never ever go to another stable, so Linda you better stay put!

Jump For Joy is still the best place to ride! Linda is a wonderful person and teacher. She is very patient with my daughter, who is now seven years old. This is a safe, pleasant atmosphere where the people are friendly. I can’t imagine getting better instruction anywhere else.

I love love love jump for joy. Linda is amazing! When I’m not in one of her wonderful lessons, I’m riding around in her golf cart. I’m a fourteen year old girl and Linda has changed my life! I feel apart of the ranch and I am never bored. I’m always turning out horses, riding and having a blast. My family has been to many other ranches and none of them can even compare to this one. It’s clean, there’s nice people, the lessons are spectacular(and affordable), boarding is great(also the cheapest you can find), there’s plenty of arenas, and that’s just a few perks of Jump for Joy. Linda has taken me under her wing and teaches me new things every day. I am constantly following her around the ranch! It’s family friendly but quiet and pristine. I just can’t say enough about this ranch! Basically this is the ranch to be and don’t waste your time at any other ranch because you are eventually going to end up at Jump for Joy.(: it’s my favorite place in the world, it’s truly amazing.

Now that several months have gone by since I first started riding here I wanted to update my review. Linda continues to be an amazing trainer and mentor. My husband is now also taking lessons and we now own two horses which we are boarding here. The environment is family friendly and drama free. Everyone at the barn(other students and boarders) is great and has become like a second family. Our horses are VERY well taken care of and happy. Linda is always willing to go the extra mile. I give ten stars ++++. There’s no better place to take lessons and board horses.

My 11year old daughter has been taking weekly lessons with Linda for a little over 6 months now. This is our first barn and will be our only, it will be where our horse will board if we get to that point. Each lesson has been worth the reasonable price with something gained every single time. Linda is always able to make the most of whatever situation arises teaching so much more than just riding at so many levels. She has made it easy for my daughter to progress while giving confidence in her safety. The atmosphere has created a relationship with our whole family that all appreciate and makes my daughter feel at ease. The horses are well trained and suited for riders of all levels. And the facilities are perfect for all levels too. The covered, dressage arena was the perfect place to start to learn this summer. We look forward to many years of riding fun with Jump for Joy!

First and foremost, let me just say that I have been riding for awhile at A LOT of different barns, but nothing has helped me improve as a rider and horse-woman as my time with Linda. So far, I have only had a few lessons, but there is a noticeable difference and I am always leaving with a smile. Linda is a wonderful trainer and I highly recommend her for all levels of riders as she ALWAYS strives to make you just that much better. In addition, she has well-mannered lesson horses that are happy to be working! I cannot wait to become a permanent member of her barn and hopefully board a horse of my own on her property some day!

I have been boarding my horse at Jump For Joy for a few years now and couldn’t be happier! The facilities are AMAZING! Two round pens, one turn out pen, a jumping arena, a covered dressage arena, a hot walker, community tack rooms, several wash racks, and well kept grounds to name a few amenities. The stalls are cleaned daily and the horses are fed twice daily. The prices at Jump for Joy are extremely reasonable! The owner is always willing to hear and address any concerns you may have. She is a knowledgeable horse person who will always be watching out for the welfare of both you and your horse and is also an incredible teacher! She is comfortable teaching just about anyone to ride. I’ve seen her giving lessons to small children, to «green» adult riders, and even the seasoned rider can learn a thing or two from her. I’ve been riding for 15 years and still whenever I take a lesson with her, she is able to help me fine tune both me and my stubborn horse.(Her Lessons are also very reasonably priced) She takes pride in her facility and holds safety(for horse and rider) in the highest regard. I would recommend Jump For Joy to anyone who is looking for a calm, well-kept facility.
