Business Owner
It has been Brian Fitzpatrick’s experience in over 17 years of providing farrier services for performance horses, specifically horses that work with municipalities for a variety of purposes; they most often require therapeutic and corrective care. This can include treatment to address concussion to the equine bones and joints causing soreness, stiff joints, abscesses, arthritis, heal soreness, sole bruises, road founder (inflammation of the laminae), heel bruising, and stone bruises to name a few common conditions. Brian Fitzpatrick, CF also services several top level barrel racing horses, reining horses, and western pleasure horses. They are all competitive performance horses which require shoeing procedures and techniques that are very specific to the horses’ needs and requirements for movement, gait, and conformation. Variables such as ground surfaces/footing, the job required of the horse, and differences in each individual horse’s movement and conformation must be considered
