David Electric and Plumbing

To clarify, I contacted them early in the AM around 6−7am. I didn’t get a call back until around 6pm at night. For an emergency service, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect someone to call me around 1−2pm to set up an appointment. 2 hour window? It took your company almost 12 hours to return my call.

Has done a few jobs for my company never had any issues, headache free.

Best electrician around. Great customer service. I highly recommend. Dave goes above and beyond to answer all your questions no matter if you contact him by phone or text message.

Having service professionals you can TRUST and don’t rip you off is so important these days, but unfortunately hard to find. I am so happy to have found David because he is our new go-​to guy for anything electrical.
After an outage blew out our whole electrical panel, David and Tim were out here asap fixing everything and explaining what needed to be done. Trustworthy, fair pricing, and great response time. I’m never happy about having to fix anything, but at least I feel peace of mind knowing we didn’t overpay, and that the job got done right. We will also be using David Electric to upgrade our panel and do any other work.
Would definitely recommend and already have.

I called David because I wanted some lights installed in my living room. I was so happy that he came out and gave me a free estimate. I decided to go with him because he was reasonably priced and very polite. After the job was done my living room was left cleaner then before they were there. I recommend David Electric.

What a great, honest person to do business with. I showed him my previous estimates that I got and he explained to me how he thought these other electricians were trying to rip me off! David’s work is very clean and professional. I can’t imagine anyone giving him a 1 star review! Must be some of those people that can NEVER BE SATISFIED! This is for reviews that was done over a year… I can see why there are 5 star reviews and 1 star reviews. I had several projects for him (kitchen sink installation and lighting installations) .The first time I called he was friendly and sent over a «Scott». He was nice and did the job but in a hurry. Found he didn’t have all the parts and wanted me to pick it up at the hardware store for him to save time! (lol) are you kidding me? I said no. Then after he left I realized the wall sconce lighting was crooked… and still is to this day. Not everyone who walks in here notices but some do and it makes me feel awful. He also forgot to put the decorative plate on the dining room before he put in the chandelier so my handyman/​gardener who also knows electrical work put the decorative plate on for me by removing the chandelier again and reconnecting it for all only $ 40 (the professional charged me $ 120– for nothing). All in all my bill was $ 900 and I didn’t feel good about the charges for not so perfect work. It could of been the guy he sent over and he didn’t care as much as it wasn’t his business or they are just too busy and didn’t do a not so perfect job for not too reasonable pricing.

I needed an electrician in a hurry and called him from reading reviews on Unilocal.He was fantastic. He showed up at the scheduled time and after carefully looking around at the issues, explained in detail what he needed to do and what the price would be. He didn’t waste any time and found the problems immediately and quickly and efficiently fixed them. I was very impressed that he didn’t take advantage of my lack of education in the electrical department. I highly recommend David and am glad to know that there is a very good electrician in this valley.

We selected David Electric based on so many great reviews on Unilocal and are happy we did.
About a month ago we had David come out to give us an estimate for installing some ceiling lights in our office/​workout room. He is very friendly and professional and said that there were a couple of options and if there was something we didn’t like he would change it. We scheduled our appointment that night.
He showed up on time and did a great job. After they completed the work they cleaned up spotless and the finish is perfect.
A question arose about the brightness of the actual dimmer chosen, but he came out and switched it for us right away. He even looked at another light in the home and checked out the safety of its housing and gave his recommendation for it.
A month later we are very pleased with the final results and our overall experience with David Electric. When it comes time to have more work done we will not hesitate to call him again!

We thought we had a major electrical emergency, which ended up being a quick fix. Dave was extremely reasonable in price, nice and helpful. Will definitely be calling Dave for all our electrical and plumbing needs. Thanks Dave!

I had posted on FB that I was looking for someone to come and fix an electrical problem ASAP. I thought I’d ask a few friends first before going on Unilocal.Immediately someone told me about David Electric and Plumbing. Turns out, he was number one on Unilocal and had 5 star reviews across the board and for good reason too.
He was at my place the same afternoon, figured out the problem almost immediately, texted me pics of the problem since I was at work and my assistant was at the house and had the parts and the job completely finished the next mid-​morning. I have NEVER had such a quick, efficient and professional home repair service as I did with David. He’s the real deal; honest, informative, professional, efficient and saved me from a very dangerous possible electrical fire in my daughter bathroom– so scary! And… very affordable. I’m a loyal client here on out.

Dave is someone who runs his business with heart and a genuine concern for customer satisfaction.
Although I only had three relatively small projects (outdoor fountain, ceiling fan and canned led lights for a niche) — he focused on getting them all done the same day and to my satisfaction.
When there were things that were not to my exact request (i.e. miscommunication does happen — we are all human) — what mattered was his goal of 100% customer satisfaction — he fixed it to make sure it was the way I wanted it.
He also went out of his way to fix some drywall issues that happened that were beyond the scope of what he warned me about — and he made sure they got done right to both of our satisfaction.
I highly recommend David for his competence, fair pricing, but more importantly focus on customer satisfaction.

I needed a receptacle installed on my ceiling for an AV projector. He was able to accomplish his job in a couple of hours and kept the work area clean.
It is more comforting knowing this business owner lives in the community. He has great customer service and I highly recommend him.

I called to get estimates for to install 3 ceiling fans and to wire up the new junction boxes. Everything sounded great over the phone, David was helpful and explained everything up front.
The problem came at installation, David had one of his contractors perform the work. Problems with the fans started immediately. A few weeks later after one of the fans was wobbling, I found out the junction boxes were not rated for ceiling fans.
I called and complained. David immediately sent out the same contractor to correct the problem. David did call to apologize, but after this experience, I would not hire him again.

David was great. He was able to fit me in to his busy schedule and come further than he normally comes to help me out. Once at my house he and his colleague were quick, but thorough in their work. They were also good about cleaning up after themselves.
Very happy with finished work product.

I second a LOT of these reviews.
I contacted 4 electricians as we needed ONE electrical outlet dropped where a former closet was located. The pricing was truly outrageous, IF they returned the calls to my inquiry — apparently, they didn’t need the business, or it was «too small» a job.
Dave himself returned our call within 24 hours (to be fair, we called him on a Sunday). He scheduled to meet with us, took 10 minutes to evaluate the issue, and gave us an unbelievable quote … so of COURSE we scheduled for the work to be done — not WEEKS or DAYS in the future but the very next day.
The job was completed in 15 minutes. The work was neat, clean and the installer was a courteous professional.
I would highly recommend this business.
