Call USA Repair, after 2 Hours Steve Show up and fixed my electrical problem .He did an excellent job.

Bobby from USA Repairs was great. He was professional, personable, called to confirm our appointment, and was punctual. He told me he has over fifteen years of experience, and it showed. He fixed the problem in a minimal amount of time, and had the specific brand of breaker in his van, needed for the replacement. He did a good job explaining what was wrong, answering questions, and explaining what he was fixing as he did it. Overall, I was extremely satisfied.

Professional, friendly, thorough, and explained the whole process of what needed to get done. Would definitely use again. Thank you!

I manage an old building so I have to deal with lots of repair companies. USA Repairs ranks up there with my favorite companies to deal with now and I’ll definitely use them again in the future.
I called up for an estimate and the repair person (Bobby) was out in an hour gave me an honest appraisal and fair quote and I hired him on the spot. (This was after a morning of not so easy to deal with companies and, if I could even get them to answer the phone and come out, not so «believable» assessments and prices). This company was totally different.
After hiring Bobby, who was great by the way, he got right to work, had everything available to complete the job, finished in under an hour and was polite, courteous and efficient to boot. Heck, once my lights were restored, he even gave me an extra fuse just because and some helpful tips and recommendations for work that should be considered in the near future.
It’s really hard to find good honest repair services but now that I’ve found USA Repairs I’ll make sure not to lose their number. AND I’ll be sure to ask for Bobby again, he was stellar!

Steve was great with helping fix our overhead kitchen lights. Quick, informative and friendly. He was done in about an hour. A huge plus here was that helped clean the dirty light cover before reattaching it to the case. Great service!

Bobby did an amazing job with a last minute project I needed help with. I bought a ceiling lamp from IKEA and when I got home I realized the installation was much more complicated than I could handle. My wiring is really old and didn’t match up to the IKEA instructions or anything I could find online. Bobby came in less than an hour (on MLK Day, too)! In less than 30 minutes he had my light up and working perfectly. I had to pay a extra for last minute same-​day service (after 7pm), but it was totally worth it for a job done well and quick!

Some of the fluorescent light ballasts went bad in our apartment and we called 3 different 5-​star rated electricians in the LA area. USA Repairs was the only one who connected me to a technician right away. They were extremely flexible and accommodated my schedule perfectly — I was able to get Steve to come that morning which was awesome since I already had another company (plumber) over to do some work.
Steve was prompt, courteous, and did his job well. He noticed we had a shoe-​free home and thoughtfully removed his at the door. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it without any drama, and cleaned up after himself. Would definitely use them again if we ever have electrical issues.

I am a small business owner in DTLA and was
experiencing some issues with a fuse. i contacted
USA and they were awesome. They sent out a tech named Steve he was on time informative and
a delight to have in my salon. Not only did Steve identify the problem he fixed it immediately all while being professional and friendly. Steve also gave me great advice on how to prevent from having the same problem in the future. He also looked at a secondary issue without hesitation .

Love these guys. Bobby was the service tech that came out to our place twice… super professional, friendly, careful and communicative. The work he and his partner did was beautiful. On our first appointment, we needed them to rewire an old pendant lamp, and it came out absolutely perfect. Also upgraded all our old recessed lighting to LED lighting at Bobby’s recommendation. Great company.

What a great job! I was referred by a friend… They did a nice and clean work… We got a new jacuzzi to replace our old one… They updated our old connections within a reasonable time! I will totally call them again for future work!

I am a salon owner and when I had just opened my salon I had major electrical issues. I had contacted USA repairs for their experiences what I need to operate normally and not tripping breakers. The tech Steve was amazing what he did for the salons power. I will be calling them for now on.

I wish I could remember who referred me to USA Repairs because, I’d send them a thank you note and flowers! I’ve been using this company for so long, I honestly cannot remember HOW I found them! Bobby & Steve have both been to my house to work on everything from changing out old recessed light fixtures or adding new ones, replacing old wiring & installing exterior planter lighting. I’m sure there’s more but, I’m sure you get the idea! I love when someone asks if I know an electrician because, I know that whoever, I refer USA Electrical to, will be 100% happy with the end result. They are quick to respond, courteous, super friendly, competent & honest.(I wouldn’t hesitate leaving either of them alone in my house if I had to). Out of 55 reviews on Unilocal,only 2 people had anything negative to say. I think those numbers speak for themselves.

Great service! Steve came out within a few hours of my call and went out of his way to get me taken care of. He installed two outlets and connected a vent fan for me and then let me know what was missing for me to pass inspection. Pricing was very reasonable and everything turned out great. I will call again next time.

I want to thank you Steve again for the great clean work you did at my home today. Installing recessed lighting. Fast and no mess. Finished the job in two hours. Also installed nice dimmer for me. It made. My house so much brighter. I will definitely recommend you to all my people.

I cannot speak highly enough of this company and of Bobby. We called for electric services at around 8:45 a.m. on a Sunday, not expecting much since it was a Sunday. We were connected to a dispatch service and received a call back in minutes. The company was able to schedule something for us immediately at 10:00 a.m. same day.
Bobby arrived early. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He finished his work quickly, walked us through his work to ensure that we would be completely satisfied, and answered all of our questions. Before he left, he informed us briefly about the other services that the company provides. We will certainly be calling the company and Bobby again for any future electrical and inspection work we require.

I had electricity go out in our bathroom and contacted USA Repairs. First, the good news: They are very courteous and prompt (tech showed up 10 minutes early) and, surprisingly, they don’t charge for coming to your home and quoting a price.
The bad news: the tech, Steve, checked out the electric panel and the switches and determined A) the the dual 20 amp breaker had burned out. B) that the wiring was old within the house and would probably need to be replaced. C) There was a burned circuit smell in the electric panel and possibly more of the breakers would have to be replaced as a cautionary measure. D) Steve said there was heat coming from the bad breaker indicating there was power coming to the breaker but that the circuit was broken.
Nothing could have been further from the truth. Steve opened his work book and leafed to a printed page that delineated all the services that would be performed to correct the problem: trouble shoot, materials, replace wiring and breakers (eight breakers) as needed. The cost: $ 1,200.00. I indicated that wasn’t going to happen.
Steve then said he’d take another look at the situation and see if he could shave some cost from the repairs. He came back, opened his work book and leafed to another «package deal»: «I can do this job by offering you trouble shooting, four breakers replaced and correct whatever wiring is required for $ 900.00». I indicated that wasn’t going to happen either.
Steve then said he wanted to take one more look at the breaker panel and see what else he could come up with. He returned, grabbed his work book and leafed to still another «package deal»: «OK, I can just replace the two breakers associated with the broken circuit, trouble shoot and replace any defective wiring». The cost: $ 500.00. I indicated that wasn’t going to happen either and that I’d contact the electrician who installed the sub-​panel next to the main panel to see what he has to say.
Steve was very gracious, gave me his business card and said he was available if I needed any of the work done. I thanked him and sent him on his way. I then called my contractor/​electrician who asked me to take a picture of the breakers in question and text it to him. He showed up a few hours later with replacement breakers in hand (I hate bothering him for such little problems), checked out the panel and the switches and determined there was nothing wrong with the breakers. He identified the problem initially as a short caused by a couple wires behind one of the switches coming loose due to a bad wire connector. He fixed the problem and it appeared to be solved… but not yet. The light started to flicker and went off again. On the other side of the wall there were two more switches as a mirror image of those in the bathroom. It turned out the wires had come loose (due to too small of a wire connector being used) and he quickly resolved the problem. Voila! Problem solved. Cost? $ 50.00. But that’s a friends price and we insisted on giving him $ 100.00.
Moral of the story: NEVER use a repair company (plumbing, electrical or otherwise) that quotes a «package» or job price. You are always better off paying at a time and materials rate. If it smells like a rip-​off then go with your instincts and get a second opinion.

I am surprised they got such good notice cause I got ripped off. I pay $ 400 for some outside breaker I didn’t even need cause 2 months down the row, my electric outlet went out again downstairs. Since I had 1 year warrant, same electrician, Steve came out & told me I need to spend another $ 400 for a new inside breaker box I don’t even need. Lucky I didn’t do the job cause I hired another electric who was honest & told me I just need a small breaker part for the inside & only charge me $ 60 & I have no problem with my electric outlet downstairs since then.
So if you want to get rip off, go hire them. I don’t know how they got all these good reviews, maybe they wrote it themselves cause they lost my business.

First off let me say this company is very professional and knowledgeable. Both Bobby and Steve are very kind and honest.
I had this company do several different electrical work on my house and every time it was a great experience. The quotes are very reasonable! I will not hesitate to call company for work needed in the future.
