I love this place, Dr. Shaw was amazing! Everyone is very professional, today was my first visit I am 8 months pregnant and felt immediate relief. I am looking forward to my next visit. I’d rate it 10 stars if I could!

Dr. Shaw is a super awesome chiropractor! She is strong, funny, positive, and caring! Liz, the gal at the desk is VERY nice & friendly! I would Highly recommend this office. Dr. shaw took care of my aches and pain!

I love Dr Shaw! She fixes me up real nice! My go to woman whenever I’m feeling beat up. I train CrossPIT at Academy of Self Defense so it’s a lil hard on the body. I just went today and I feel great. She also sells medication that helps people that get too bloated when they eat food. It’s called Betaine Hydrochloride. You take two pills before every meal. Overall I’d say she’s great value and a very nice person and the people she works with. Never had a problem. 100% satisfied! Will be coming back again just like today!

I have been seeing Dr. Shaw for 4 years and she is GREAT! I can’t say enough about the relief I get when I see her and her team. Whether it is a few sessions to get back in track after a little injury, or a monthly maintenance visit, she has a great touch. I love that she is always learning new techniques to help her patients really thrive. I always feel great after our visits.

I can’t say enough about Dr Shaw. I’ve never met a professional who makes you feel like you are the only one that matters. The first time I went to her I asked her a lot of questions and she stayed with me and answered every one. I didn’t feel like a $ sign who she wanted to push out the door for the next person.
As far as NRT (Nutritional Response Testing), I went there on a strong referral. It sounded strange but when you see how your body INSTANTLY reacts… there is no denying that there is something to it. Since I started, I’ve sent several people who have had chronic issues, whom have gone to doctors and have been poked and prodded, with no results.
Some have been hesitate, as I was, but the testing results are undisputable. You don’t need to trust the results, you SEE there are issues instantly!

Dr. Shaw and company are friendly and compassionate about the needs of your achey parts. In addition, she’s incredibly efficient when it comes to patients. You are in and out fast, and have lasting relief.

Dr. Shaw worked magic on my hamstring injury. After 5 years of pain when running and sitting, I am able completely pain free!

I was in a minor car accident last July, and had some really minor stiffness at first. I brushed it off as typical of car accidents until after a month or so, the pain got worse and worse. Eventually I went to see Dr. Shaw at Nova Chiropractic and had the best experience possible.
Up until then I didn’t really know anything about chiropractic care or how my own body was trying to give my signals that things were not as the should be. She carefully explained to me her approach, her goals, and where my pain was coming from based on how my bones had shifted, causing my muscles to pull harder or less in some places.
I also had the pleasure of getting my muscles massaged by WENDY, who is amazing at pin pointing issues. She’s personable and has great «mom» hands that are both strong and comforting. Both Wendy and Dr. Shaw were patient, and explained to me how something should feel, how to prevent further injury, and also took a personal interest in my overall well being.
The office was extremely flexible with my insurance issues, payment, and my crazy school & work schedule. They have fully converted me into listening to what my body is telling me and how to keep it balanced and strong. It’s a shame that it took an accident for me to learn about this resource!

I have been to many chiropractors over the years for problems with my neck and mid back due to accidents. I started experiencing lower back pain and the chiropractor I was seeing at the time was not able to solve the problem. I tried everything from yoga to inversion tables and after 6 months, I thought I was going to have to deal with the pain the rest of my life. I decided to try Dr. Shaw after reading all of the good reviews on Unilocal.
This is no exaggeration… my lower back pain went away in one visit with Dr Shaw. I have not had lower back pain since. I have continued to see her for my neck when it flares up. She is friendly, gentle and professional and very good at zeroing in on the problem and explaining what she is doing to solve it. She doesn’t push multiple sessions and I have never had a long wait or trouble making an appointment.
I highly recommend her!

MASSAGE: I’ve had several massages to help with alignment issues from inactivity and keyboard monotony. After a few massages from Wendy, I have felt that my body position is already improving. I feel Wendy is very intuitive and is able to do her magic in places you might not even know needed work. With the knowledge of the body ‘aligned’ with working closely with Chiropractor staff, Wendy does have an insightful touch.

I started seeing Dr Shaw during the first trimester of my pregnancy. I’ve had back problems in the past and thought that this might help me get through pregnancy.
This was probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Amazingly, I’ve never felt the same intensity of back pains I’ve had pre-​pregnancy for the last 5 or so months. All I had were normal pains due to pregnancy and every time I go there, I leave with a smile.

All the reviews are true. I’ve never been to a chiropractor before, but this experience was great.
Dr. Shaw is very nice and friendly. You don’t get the «I’m a medical professional and want to minimize interacting with you» feeling that you get from a lot of people. She knows her stuff and tries to understand what happened and how, which is probably why so many people have found longer-​term relief. She doesn’t push multiple sessions on you.

Dr. Shaw and team are top notch! What I like about Dr. Shaw is that she doesn’t just do random adjustments or practice ‘assembly line’ chiropractic like a few others I have been to in the past. The treatment is personalized and thorough. Another amazing benefit to seeing Dr. Shaw is that you can frequently get in same day. I love being able to call in the morning and see her in the afternoon without having to wait or set up appointments a month or weeks in advance. The atmosphere in her office is also comfortable and not clinical.

I was seen by Dr. Shaw after an auto accident, she helped me on my road to recovery. The big deal was how well she treated my mother. My mom was in bed for several days in terrible hip and leg pain. My mother who in over 60 years may have seen a doctor a handful of times is not one to see a doctor on the regular. My mom will even miss bingo to see Dr. Shaw. thank goodness Dr. Shaw is willing to accommodate my mom’s schedule so no one gets hurt and granny gets to bingo.

Dr. Shaw is a wonderful doc– chiropractic has been the only thing that works for my migraines. Her staff is great at working me into her schedule when the (now) rare one occurs.
Her background as a research scientist helps her relate to geeks like me living and working in this valley.
She’s helped my partner with RSI (repetitive stress injuries) and taught her ergonomic techniques to prevent them from happening again.
It’s nice to be treated by someone who obviously enjoys their work and creates a happy environment for her staff and patients.

I have never been to a chiropractor but Dr. Shaw is great. She explains exactly what she is doing, how things work and makes me feel GREAT. It is easy to get in and see her and she really takes the time to make sure everything is in order before I leave. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because she does not have an xray place in her office so after the first visit I had to leave and go get an xray elsewhere and then come back to find out exactly what was going on and get my first full adjustment.
Oh just the sound of all those cracks makes me want to go back again!

I am a fan of chiropractic, but I’ve been to several that either hurt me or required way too many return visits. Dr Shaw is a pleasure to visit. She’s gentle, very knowledgeable and patient, professional and never pushes un-​necessary visits on her patients.
If you can arrange it, get a massage, the masseuse is fabulous, especially for sports injuries and deep tissue massage.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. Dr. Shaw is incredible. I have NOT been a fan of Chiropractors in the past, but she is wonderful. Not one to shove 752 visits down your throat in order for you to feel better. Also, she is NOT a big ‘bone cracker’. Very gentle. And nice. Low key. Fabulous. I always leave feeling MUCH better, (and taller… lol) In addition, Diane is a killer massuese. Cant say enough about this office!!!
