Dr. Gringeri has been a tremendous help. I highly recommend him!
I’ve had very good results with Dr. Gringeri, and 99% of the reviews here are positive. So I was (at first) surprised to see a couple negative reviews. But then I noticed these were posted by people who did not go through Dr. Gringeri’s program. Since they were never treated by him, they are missing the overall picture. Here’s my story…
My father was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes well over a decade ago. He traveled the standard medical path – taking the various medications prescribed by doctors to control the disease. Over the years my father’s health has deteriorated. He’s developed everything associated with diabetes (chronic kidney failure, heart disease, gum issues, etc.) and he’s had several operations. Bottom line: traditional medical treatments did not cure my father.
I did not want to turn out like this. Plus, I started noticing possible symptoms. So I attended Dr. Gringeri’s Diabetic Seminar. What a wealth of information!
I signed up for his program. During the initial visit, I took a battery of tests and such. Then I met with Dr. Gringeri. There were several things I loved about this consultation:
1. I get the sense of genuine care. He really cares about you.
2. He thoroughly understands diabetes (he explained many things that he did not cover in his seminar).
3. Because of his background as a Neurologist, Digestive Specialist, and Chiropractor, he we was able to piece together solutions that work for diabetics – things the traditional medical community hasn’t figured out yet. Dr. Gringeri is incredibly smart.
4. He educates you so you have the tools to meet and/​or exceed your health goals.
5. Tests. I signed up for his extended personalized program. For me, this included a blood test, urine test, X-​Rays, and the most extensive physical exam I’ve ever had.
I was happy to learn via these tests that I don’t have diabetes. But I still had health issues and goals. Dr. Gringeri discovered through these tests that I was having digestive problems and more. So he’s been working with me for about two months now. I’m not even half way through my personalized program and I’m already experiencing results. I have increased energy and I’ve lost weight to name a couple.

Several months ago I tore some muscles in my shoulder, but thought nothing of it until just recently. I went wakeboarding and banged up my shoulder to the point that I couldn’t move my entire arm.
My shoulder began to hurt on a Saturday morning and when I gave Dr. Gringeri a call he was more than gracious enough to come in on his time off to check out what was happening with me and help to work out a solution. I felt totally cared about!
The pain I was going through was unbearable! It was so bad to the point I was in tears 80% of the time and the other 20%, I was holding them back. I couldn’t move my arm, I couldn’t sleep, I could barely even move!
Dr. Gringeri, again, worked out the time to sit down with me and really figure out what was happening. He had his assistant, John, work with me and I saw him every day for a week to get my arm back into good working order.
Dr. Gringeri is not just «another chiropractor». I really felt like he cared and really wanted to do everything in his power to help me to heal from what I was going through. He even spent to time to explain what was REALLY happening with the muscles in my shoulder and explained why each thing he was doing with me would help. I have such a better understanding of what I did to hurt myself and I now know how I can actually avoid it in the future.
I have recommended Dr. Gringeri to many of my friends and my family and I will continue to do so because I know that whoever I send to him will truly be looked after.

My father’s sciatica has been getting progressively worse for the last 6 years. A year ago he was stooped forward and needed to start using a cane. Dr. Gringeri started working with my father last August and through the Fall. My dad said Dr. Gringeri «stretched» his spine. As a result of the work with Dr. Gringeri, when I saw my father at Vasona yesterday, he walked over perfectly upright without a cane to give me hug. I had thought that there would be no going back to this kind of movement for my father since he had been working with all sorts of massage and chiropractors for years. My dad still uses a cane at times and is working to drop more weight and still, he has improved tremendously since Dr. Gringeri began to work with him. I am grateful and would recommend Dr. Gringeri to anyone.

Wow, to see how many people feel about diabetes and how fast we all want to think we know about the diseases. Well, I’m sorry but normal doctors can’t help us because last year my late wife past away cause she was losing this battle with diabetes. All the doctor can say was lose weight and here take more medication but the real problem was still not address that was how??? I’m here today to tell you that at first I’m the biggest sceptic and always challenging everything and everyone claims that it works. But since I joined I’ve learned that we all should have an open mind and heart to believing that some people really care about others like Dr. Gringeri. Plus, I do go to his office every Monday Wednesday and Friday if you want to talk to a real person after 4 pm see for yourself how his program works and how Dr. G can help you. Plus, his office is also were you do your workout for the week, he also is like a life coach in your health trust me I came off the tracks over the holidays with my wife gone it just messed me up. Dr. G got me back on track focused on me not what others might says cause I was doing good. I’m off all my medication and working out at his office, at the gym too and walking after almost every meal as possible. He give you supplements to take to help with your body’s in balance plus. No he doesn’t say not to eat carbs but to pick the right balance in your choices as far as what to eat. Remember he does a great job one on one he can’t answer everyone questions at a lecture but if you do give him the chance he will. I was about 250lbs at 5’9″ my sugars were always over 200+ in the morning even if I was on a low carb diet and now since I’ve been with Dr. G I lost over 20lbs and about 2 pants sizes for men. This all since October and feeling like I did when I was getting ready to join the Air Force over 20 years ago. One last point is remember you are the one that has or want to change your path, direction or the road you are on. Me and my late wife both got diabetes in 1999 and she die June 2014 so we both had this disease for over 14 years. That why I came here my wife was getting the flyers from Dr. G for almost a year but she never said or did anything with it now I’m here alone going through life without my best friend and love. Please don’t wait act now you might save someone’s or yourself.

I am a type 2 diabetic who has lost nearly all my ability to produce insulin (max insulin is about 25 uIU/​mL and fasting insulin is 14). As a result of that, I’ve spent a lot of time learning about diabetes from the world’s best experts.
I am not a patient. I went to Dr. G’s free 2 hour diabetes seminar (it is really 3 hours if you stay to eat the lunch) to see if Dr. Gringeri might be someone I could learn from.
I left disappointed.
At no time in the seminar did Dr. Gringeri mention the most important thing about diabetes: your blood sugar is raised by eating carbs; for every 1 gm of carb you eat your blood sugar goes up 4 points (if you weigh around 160… it’s less for heavier people, more if you weigh less).
Unbeliveably, at no time in the seminar did he say the most important thing: «cut down on your carbs.» That’s the most basic advice for a diabetic and in 3 hours it was NEVER mentioned. NOTHING about carbs raising blood glucose. No mention that your pancreas produces insulin or your liver producing glucose. In fact, he never mentioned your pancreas or your liver.
So you are left with virtually NO understanding of diabetes, insulin, your pancreas, your liver, beta cell destruction, insulin resistance, and WHY people get worse with standard treatments. That’s the basic stuff.
NOT talked about at all: beta cells, insulin resistance, the 140 mg/​dl «danger line» blood sugar level, how metformin works, how to reverse insulin resistance, ketogenic diets and why they are superior, high intensity interval training vs. building muscle and the unique way each one contributes, phase 1 and 2 insulin response, glucose tolerance tests WITH insulin (you don’t need c-​peptide unless you take insulin), exogenous ketones, why large dietary changes are better than the incremental changes he recommends, etc.
I do agree with him that the advice given by standard doctors to diabetics is terrible. His advice and approach is better, and people will do better under his advice than a medical doctor’s advice, but he could be doing a MUCH better job than he is doing. People can get dramatically better by shedding weight and laying off the refined carbs. A trivial dietary change of reducing carbs can, in some people (newly diagnosed) cure diabetes miraculously. Voila.
It’s not clear to me that Dr. G understands the 3 factors involved in diabetes since these are NEVER explained: 1) your liver dumping glucose (the main culprit in fasting blood sugar levels) and glucose from diet, 2) your pancreas producing insulin, and 3) your muscles being insulin resistant. Those are the big 3 for diabetes and they are never discussed.
People who are really damaged like me (i produce hardly any insulin), need more aggressive advice. He said he sometimes counsels a ketogenic diet which is good. But his assessment of your health listed on the handout does NOT include postprandial blood sugar and insulin response and that is critical to assessing your current state and the aggressiveness of your treatment. He did not mention the levels of A1c, fasting and postprandial glucose he considers a success even when I specifically asked about this! He also only quotes success ANECDOTES and never mentions his overall success rate. Richard Bernstein’s patients all improve, but we don’t know what Dr. G’s overall success rate is. Nor does he explain what each patient had to do differently to accomplish the result.
Gringeri NEVER mentions the very successful Roy Taylor diet, why simply losing weight (and/​or eliminating carbs) can reverse diabetes immediately (if your pancreas isn’t shot). Or why 75% of people who undergo bariatric surgery can stay in remission for up to 15 years. He never talks about high intensity interval training, cardio, vs. muscle building. The most helpful supplements like berberine and ceylon cinnamon aren’t even mentioned.
Instead he spends his time bashing doctors, the medical system, etc. or talking about environmental toxics that we can’t control. He should be focusing on what people CAN do to treat diabetes, and then making the pitch for his help because most people lack the will power to make the changes required (which is why most people get worse… they don’t know what to do and even when they do, they lack the willpower to change).
I’d give my Stanford docs an «F» on diabetes advice. I’d give Dr. G a «D». In my opinion, he’d do way better focusing his seminar in helping people understand the big 3 in diabetes (source of glucose, source of insulin, cause of insulin resistance), and then selling his services to help people modify their diet and exercise plan to lower glucose, lose weight, and improve their insulin resistance. Too bad he’s not focused on this.
He measures completely useless things like O2 saturation and NOT your postprandial blood sugar and insulin. He does this because he’s treating you like a car engine… spark, fuel, etc. So he gives you oxygen which can be toxic. I’d stay away.

My wife persuade me to go to Dr. Gringeri’s diabetes seminar to listen to what this Doctor what he had to say. I mean, he is a Chiropractor, in my mind what does he know about diabetes? I went there thinking that he just want to invite people to go to his practice. So I went for the free lunch, I had nothing better to do that afternoon.
I have been researching for a long time to try to reduce my Metformin, Cholesterol, high blood pressure pills but not too successful. I know in my mind, I am missing something. I know I have to exercise, eat healthy and eat small meals, and I can reduce my medicine intake, but not too successful. I got rid of my high blood pressure pills; I reduce the cholesterol pills but not too successful in my Metformin. I have reduce that to taking only one 500 mg a day and still not able to get rid of it. The reason I want to do that is because I hate taking medicine. Ever since I started taking theses medicines some 25 years ago, I became very tired all day, I just have no energy. Well, I went to that seminar to hear what the good doctor have to say.
In fact the Doctor have plenty to say and he practically answered the missing link that I have been searching for: Exercise, Good nutrition, (Good vitamin supplements) and the missing link: Breathing, deeeeep breathing! According to the good Doctor, breathing provides the spark which ignites the oxygen so that it has the fuel to provide the food to digest, the blood to circulate and the life cycle to renew itself constantly.
I am so convinced that I paid the $ 99 for a session of doctor’s time so I could discuss with him more thoroughly.
I went home and start to take what I learn from the Seminar, I started adding to my normal exercise routine the deep breathing exercise. By doing that, I added another hour to my routine everyday.
two months had passed, I am now completely free from the PILLS! Since I am a regular hiker, and I know my exercise, I elected to do this on my own without the doctor’s help. I advice people to take the doctor’s program if they are new to the exercise program. It helps. I just turned 79 in May of this year and I can tell you I am a new man. This is the year I start to enjoy myself! Thanks to Dr. Grinery!

Dr. Gringeri is doing good things. The initial exam and questionnaire is the most complete I have ever had. He spent a lot of time talking with me regarding my symptoms and problems. He stays on this track as you go thru his program so there is feed back between you and the treatments he is giving. It’s just great to know you can talk to a health professional who cares about you. I am not a diabetic, however I have digestive issues and had an accident requiring surgery. I am on a good path to healing and working on positive steps with my digestion. I have been to 2 MD’s and one Gastroenteroligist. None were as interested or could provide me with a way to get significantly better, but Dr G did.
He is compassionate, smart, caring and his dedication to his work is obvious. My neck and back are getting back to normal again too.

I was given the advertisement with the free Seminar by my wife. I went and was very happy to hear someone with this much knowledge about Diabetes. From the start of the program in March Dr. Gringeri has explained to my wife and myself what was causing and what I could do to get my blood sugar under control. I was feeling hopeless. My blood sugar just keep going up and was over 200 every reading. No Dr. has ever spent this amount of time with me on any problem and follow up. Last meeting was well over an hour and full of information. The program is easy to follow and the supplements are easy to take with no side effects. After 2 months my blood count is down in the 120’s. I am about to get off of the poisons that my Regular Dr. has put me on and increased 2 times. At 75 I feel blessed to have found Dr. Grinreri and am feeling better every day. I was told I would have type 2 Diabetes for life and be on medication for life. Not true.

In by no means i am attacking anyone but the 2 bad reviews made me just a little bit upset. The question is? Have you tried his diabetes program?
Anyway, i knew of Dr. Gringeri from a family friend that goes to him to be treated for her tpye 2 diabetes and i wondered how she looked healthy compared before… I found out that she started going to his office for the diabetes program secretly because her children are also skeptical of the idea of going to a Chiropractor for diabetes. After her 3^rd month in the program she was out of her medication and her diabetes was rid off and so are her other health problems. She is 68 years old but look like she is on her 50’s health wise. So i decided to attend his seminar and dragged my skeptical husband with me and upon listening to him i decided to go to his office. I joined the diabetes program… For my 2^nd month i have to say my health is doing better and had stop using insulin and with it i also lost a lot of weight without taking diet pills. I am now 165lbs. From 200lbs.
I also brought my mom who has vertigo while on vacation here and within 5 adjustments in 1 ½ months my mom does not have vertigo and her back is doing a lot better… :)

Dr. Gringeri’s lecture gave me the answer I had been searching for to control and eliminate my diabetes. After about 7 weeks my blood sugar has dropped to almost normal, my diabetes medication is down by 1/​3, and my weight has dropped 10 lbs. The nutritional analysis gave me eating guidelines I can live with without contributing to my diabetes. I am stronger and my body is more limber after adjustments. It’s so nice to be cared for in a nurturing and loving environment.

I found Dr. G through my boyfriend’s experience with him for diabetic care (we attended one of his lectures). After working with Dr. G, my boyfriend has his diabetes completely under control through diet, exercise and the nutritional supplements Dr. recommended. It took a while to find the right combination that worked for him, but the results are dramatic.
I have seen Dr. G for help with sciatica and lower back pain. When I first consulted him my pain level was 8 – 9 on a 10-​point scale. After 2 visits it dropped to 4 – 5. 18 months later thI am nearly pain free. When I have problems, they are much milder and easily treated. He and his staff are ethical, sincerely desire to have a positive effect on your health. I find Dr. is most appreciated by intelligent people that don’t expect miracles, that take responsibility for their own care and will ask questions and work with the doctor to achieve optimum results. I think he’s terrific.

I enjoyed going to see Dr. Gringeri and in my holistic teachings one of the few things that one can do to ensure life long health is by getting frequent back adjustments and massage — which are both offered there. I found that the oxygen treatment always made me feel better and my endurance increased over time. I went there to get more energy in which I got. The only reason I stopped was because I got into debt and had to give up some of the nicer luxuries such as this: (
The whole staff is nice especially the receptionist. I think I should go back there again soon! :) Parking is good, its by lots of good restuarants and traffic isn’t horrible to get there.
Also as an fyi– if anyone has a solution and I don’t care if they are selling pet rocks– and its found to work for most people… to include yourself– shut your trap about the how and what and the why. Some of you people have «analysis paralysis» and will over analyze something to death and will never find the cure to anything! Many of the cures are placebos and it just doesn’t matter! What matters is the track record and the effectiveness probability for yourself, that’s all!

Dr. Gringeri’s 2 hour free diabetes presentation was nothing but a sales pitch. He spends the first hour bashing doctors and bashing medications, and trying to establish himself as an expert. He tries to sell you his alternative treatment. He is by no means an endocrinologist or an expert on diabetes, yet comes an inch short of trying to sell you a diabetes «cure».

I hurt my back seriously loading and unloading boxes all by myself. I hurt the lower back which affected the sciatic nerve. I’ve never ever had back trouble like this and I did not know what that incredibly bad pain which affected my leg and rear meant. I got so I could not walk without help.
I went to Dr. Gringeri and he and his staff worked with me and it is clearing up. Last week I could not walk without a cane and was in excruciating pain, this week I’m walking fine and the pain is barely a memory. Thank you for the help.

I’ve been meaning to write this review 1 yr ago, but keep forgetting! Dr. Gringeri and staff are awesome! Professional, personable, and HONEST! I found him on Unilocal and was involved in a minor auto accident. Dr. Gringeri is gentle when it comes to his adjustment and everyone from John to the front were super nice! My lawyer got a little shady and they were kind enough to call me to let me know what was going on. Thank god I was able to resolve it. I’m glad they had a lot of patience. I highly recommend this office!!!

I went to Dr Gringeri for allergy help. I had been researching allergies and found out they can be related to digestive problems. I had both, allergies and digestive problems. I had previously been going to a nutritionist for 2 years but still had major problems breathing.
Dr Gringeri is a digestive specialist so I decided to give him a try. He did some standard testing and then put me on a very tailor-​made program to handle my digestion. With a few weeks my allergies started to subside and soon I was breathing normally with my allergies under control. He handled in 2 months what a nutritionist did not handle in 2 years. I am very happy with the results.

dr g is great– he has really help me with my back and neck issues if you need a good chiropractor this is the guy you should see. If you have any kind of health issues as well he can help you there as well.

Dr G is wonderful. I’ve been foolishly over-​training for my first marathon and ended up hobbling around on what I thought was a bad knee. After one session with Dr G of ultrasound and adjustments, I am running again. After the second session, all seems quite back to normal. Lesson learned — I will stretch more! As for Dr G — he has a great facility and I’ve seen him treat what I consider traditional chiropractic issues as well as digestive issues relating to diabetes and other diseases. He truly believes that the human body is a machine that needs the right fuels to function properly. Very cool concepts that produce great results.
