Long over due that’s for sure but this place is great! I looked at Mancini’s and a few other places but the guy who sold me the mattresses I really wanted told me that this guy had great bunk beds and he did. Jason helped give me all the specs and info I needed as well as the add on I could do like drawers for underneath. They offer white glove delivery and the guy was super nice, quick and cleaned up everything. I forgot to mention I didn’t even know you could get a full on full size bunk and that’s what I bought for my boys. These beds are going to last a long time since the top bunk can be take down and stand alone. Not only do they sell awesome bunk and loft beds, mattresses, dressers and night stands but they have playground sets galore! That’s what I’ll be checking them out for next!!! Highly recommended!!! They truly care!

Placed a special order bunk bed with 12 week lead time even though invoice stated allow 10 weeks. Paid for bed in full at time of order. 15 weeks later still no bed. And worse than that the communication and customer service were non existent. Finally did receive a credit. Still have no idea if the bed ever existed.

My daughter’s loft bed from here was just delivered and set up. Along with her new all organic mattress. I have nothing but good things to say about this store and the help they gave me. I actually had purchased another loft bed earlier that day at a big furniture store and stopped by here to check them out on a whim. For $ 300 more I got MUCH higher quality and a saleswoman (Michelle I think???) who knew her stuff. I called numerous times in the next few days and she remembered me every time… even though as you can see I can’t remember her name!
And of course the icing on the cake is that my 6 year old loves her new bed and «kids only fort»

We searched for a year to find suitable loft beds for our 2 kids, 9 & 11. Was very pleased to find Kids and Teen World had a great breadth of selection with samples on the showroom floor. We bought 2 of the relatively less expensive Mushroom brand that they carry inventory for. I was very pleased with the solidness of the furniture (solid wood) and very happy with the service we got from sales, to delivery scheduling and assembly. The crew that came in had a cancellation and called to offer an earlier delivery. They came in and very meticulously and efficiently assembled both beds in about 1 hour. Saved me at least 3.
I would highly recommend Kids and Teen World for any of your kid furniture needs.

Recently bought a full over full bunk bed. On first visit, really liked the one they had on floor, but the price seems way too high; so, we decided to shop around. Visited several furniture stores around here for the next month, but couldn’t find one that matches the quality. I really wish there are more competitions here!
Anyway, went back on during Labor day, and just bought the one we saw on first visit, since it was on sale. Still much higher than our original budget, but probably worth it since there isn’t a comparable one that’s on display around here.

If I could give Kids & Teens World ¹⁰⁄₅ Stars I would! First, Quality solid wood furniture at a reasonable price — the Mushroom Furniture drawers are solid construction with NO particle board. Most importantly, AMAZING Customer Service! We bought our twins one bunk bed 2 years ago and used it as two twin beds. We just recently decided to build the beds into the bunk and when we opened the box for the pieces, realized we were missing a safety railing. Unfortunately, we had moved out of state and were no where near a store. I contacted Jason (owner) and he shipped me the missing part within days — no questions asked. Truly fantastic. I am just sad we couldn’t buy our other bedroom set from him — it took me weeks of searching to find a set of nearly comparable quality in our new location.

We started shopping for a loft bed this weekend. We saw one we liked here but felt the price was a bit high but after looking around I called yesterday and ordered the bed. I spoke to Jason and he was very friendly. The price was actually only a few hundred dollars more then other places but the bed was much better quality then what we had seen and we got exactly what we wanted. The best part because it was in stock we got the loft bed today! The delivery guys were right on time. They were very courteous and even put felt pads on the feet of the bed for me in case my son wanted it moved. They completed putting the bed together in 45 min just as I was told to me over the phone yesterday. We are considering getting a second loft bed for my younger son next year and if we do we will go here again. I highly recommend this place. Basically we got a pottery barn quality bed for less the price and got it less then 24hrs from ordering it. Best furniture store experience to date.

Back in March 2015, my wife and I were looking for a bunk bed for our daughter. We visited Teen World and they had a great selection (onsite and in catalogs). The sales staff (Michelle) was great. We ended up ordering a Berg Captain’s Bed. The bed was delivered at the scheduled time and the guys did a great job assembling it. Overall the experience was great and I would highly recommend them for furniture. If you are looking for mattresses for kids beds I would recommend that you check out mattress stores. We got ours from Mattress Discounters (which is now a Mancini Sleepworld) for much less than what Teen World was offering.

This review is based on a terrible customer service experience from today. I bought a bed for my daughter 11 weeks ago. This is the second bed I bought at the Danville location. After waiting a long 11 weeks, the bed was supposed to be delivered today.
The delivery guy called me today to ask if he could deliver the bed earlier than expected, which would have been great. He mentioned he was close to Castro Valley, but I told him I live in Pittsburg and that I had called 3 weeks ago to provide the store with my new address. He rudely said that he was not scheduled to go to Pittsburg today so the bed would not get delivered. I told him that I have been waiting for this bed for 11 weeks and that it had to be delivered today. He started yelling telling me that I don’t tell him what to do. That only his boss could tell him what to do. I asked him why he was yelling at me and he repeated that he was not making any deliveries to Pittsburg. I was livid. I could not believe that this guy was yelling at me!
I called the Danville store, explained what happened and was told somebody else would call me. The store manager from San Mateo called me and questioned me about swearing at his delivery guy. He said the delivery guy told him that I said the F word several times. I assured him that this was not true and I told him that I did not want this guy coming to my house to deliver anything. He asked me how he is supposed to deal with his delivery guy lying to him and that he did not know what to do because he did not have any other delivery guy for today. Then he asked me if I had a solution for this. He eventually offered to deliver the bed tomorrow, so now I have to wait another day. My daughter’s first day in 2^nd grade is tomorrow so I was hoping she would sleep in her new bed tonight. We are all extremely disappointed. I am very upset!
I choose excellent customer service over anything when shopping. I went to the Danville store thinking I would never have this problem. I could have gone to a store in any place in the Bay Area, like San Leandro, and not pay almost $ 1,000 for a full size bed frame, but would most likely have to deal with poor customer service. I can’t believe I got treated in such a horrible manner.
I will never buy anything else from this store again.

I bought a trampoline here which was delivered quickly and assembled. The kids and their friends have gotten a ton of fun out of it and it’s still in great shape after 2.5 years.
I also got a Berg loft bed — the shopping was fun for my daughter because she got to select the hardware and configuration. Though the product took some weeks for delivery, assembly was done by them and the joy she’s gotten from it is wonderful.
My real reason for writing this is a ‘thank you’ of sorts as well. I recently sold the loft bed. I called them and got a lot of info about the bed I didn’t have as well as a reminder of what I paid for it… this was incredibly generous of them, IMO. Disassembly of the bed was not an IKEA experience as the quality was supreme. AND the whole thing fit a Sienna. I didn’t get the resale value I was hoping for, but enough to replace with stuff the now older girl wanted.

This review is a few months overdue, but I bet that if I walked into this place today, I would receive the same excellent service. So, I walked into this place with my two girls looking for loft beds for them. I wasn’t really set on buying right that day, but I did, and I am very happy I did. Michelle helped me throughout the process and most importantly listened to what I wanted and gave me an honest advice on all the products. I never felt obligated to buy anything, which is huge because most places are pushy and make you feel that if you do not buy right there right now, you will never get better deal and in no other place. This place is really different. You will probably end up buying things the same day, but you will do it because for once someone actually cares about you! Michelle greeted us with a big smile and ready to listen to our needs and ready with her very professional advice. Once we were ready to get a quote for our beds, she negotiated the price with Jason and in the end both parties were happy with the outcome. My girls and I are extremely happy with the purchase. Also, I am in the process of buying a house, and this place offered to hold my furniture at no cost until I am ready for a delivery. :-)
I highly recommend this place. It is super clean with the best and caring crew possible. BUY HERE!!! You won’t be disappointed !

Just got my kids the ultimate bunk bed a castle with a slide.
The place is clean and lots of samples didn’t mind the kids trying out the beds.
Jason was great help and very knowledgeable. Their prices were great and it’s tax free weekend so that’s a bonus.
Cant wait for our Maxtrix beds to come in. And delivery and set up was only 50 !

So my sons bed arrived yesterday and i absolutely love love love it!!! And so does my son. Lol. Everything that was promised was delivered and the delivery itself was easy. They put together the bed and were able to add the small step ladder for my son to get into his new «big boy» bed!!! Thanks again

In search of a new bed for our son, we had no idea what we were looking for or what we needed but by the time we left, we had it all. The selection is amazing and the options are endless. Thanks to Michelle for making the experience pleasant. We never once felt pressured or obligated and she was very knowledgeable. So very happy we found this place!

I was in need of mattresses for the bunk bed I got for the kids. Trying to find a good mattress at a great price is difficult.
I planned out 3 stores to look at, my first stop was Kids & Teen World in Santa Clara. Walked in, was greeted right away, told him what I was looking for.
The prices were so great, I bought the mattresses there. In less than 20 minutes, I had picked out the mattresses I needed for my twin over a full over a twin trundle bunk bed.
Best part, it was going to be delivered in less than 24 hours.
All in all, I received a superb quality mattresses, wonderful service, and a timeliness delivery all for a great price.

Couldn’t be more thrilled with my experience of buying a new bed for my daughter. Jason was top-​notch from start to finish. I had a ton of questions and details to review and he was patient and efficient in answering all of my concerns. He helped select a Maxtrix bed that is unique and perfect for our daughters’ room. I don’t often write review, I need to be very unhappy or very happy for that. This is the latter here!
While looking for nice beds for our kids bedrooms, we discovered Kids & Teen World. We stopped by without knowing exactly what we would find. We found the most perfect product choice and a truly outstanding buying and customer service experience.
Jason took the time to go through the options, the pros and cons and helped us made our selection and decide for the loft bed with desk and a high bed with drawers underneath.
Despite some delays in final delivery, they made everything to accommodate. Delivery and set up was very smooth too.
After delivery, we noticed one small issue and while some shops could have told us that this was part of the product specs, they proposed to change the faulty part with no question ask.
An outstanding experience!

My 4 year old was ready for a big boy bed so when searching some local furniture I knew I wanted a Jr. loft bed but couldn’t find something I could make up my mind on. When I came across the Kids & Teens World website I knew I had to make a trip out to the store.
As soon as I walked in I saw a red Jr. loft bed with stairs by DL Mayra that caught my eye. It also had a set of drawers under the bed which was a great space saver. I was then greeted by Jason (the owner) who was very friendly and informative about the bed I was looking at. He was not pushy at all and let us browse the store. I kept coming back to that red bed. I went ahead and placed the order but missed the no tax deal by a few days. Jason was kind enough to honor the deal for us. He also gave us a great price on delivery and a mattress :) And best of all is the bed/​drawers are made in the USA!!! Extremely well made and solid. No «ikea» quality here.
6ish weeks later our bed arrived and took my husband the same amount of time to assembly as it did for me to unravel the packaging :) lol My son played and slept in his new big boy bed last night. We couldn’t be anymore happier with our purchase. A++++ all the way around. Thanks Jason!!!
