Sheet/​Plywood stock is available by order only. We also offer veneering and flooring by order only, however we carry many samples of both in our showroom.

We’ve been in business for just over 35 years, our mission to provide the highest quality forest products from around the world.

The owner, Russ grew up in Southern California attending USC and eventually UCSC studying in environmental planning and forestry. After moving to Santa Cruz, CA and working for various companies such as Georgia Pacific he decided to open his own business called Northern Hardwoods, which focused mainly on domestic lumber and high quantity orders. While traveling the world, Russ came across many other exotic species of woods and came to like them so much that in 2000 he sold Northern Hardwoods and opened Global Wood Source who’s niche market is focused entirely on providing rate exotic woods via a sustainable and environmentally friendly green sourcing process.
