Express Dry Cleaner & Alteration

I first came in to get some dresses altered and the workers were all really nice and talkative, prices were cheaper than a store I used to go to as well! My dresses were all hemmed perfectly & even earlier than I expected/​needed so I had all my clothes ready for my event! Definitely my new go-​to place for alterations!

Do not do business here, terrible customer service and can not hold up to their promise.
First of all on a Wednesday I walked in and asked if they can do an emergency hem for a wedding I was attending that Saturday. I asked if they can have it ready by the end of the day Thursday, as I was leaving out of town early morning Fri. They were very nice about it at first. Which the end result really surprised me.
They said I have to pay an extra $ 10.00 fee for an emergency hem. I agreed and paid $ 20.00 for them hem and $ 10.00 to have it done by the end of the day Thursday. They also said they were very busy and would be doing it on overtime after store hours around 8:00 pm and it should be done by then.
They promised to call me to come pick it up too.
Thursday came and it was 8:30pm, I was getting worried because I never received a call. So I called them instead and no answer. I decided to drive down the street to the shop and it was closed. I called the next morning and they totally denied they were suppose to call me. I asked for a refund on the $ 10.00 fee and they argued that they will not give me a refund. I ended up having to purchase another outfit for the wedding and they could careless.
It is Sunday now and I will be going to pick up my outfit tomorrow Monday. I will post the results after I speak to them face to face. Hopefully they didn’t ruin my outfit.

Need quality alterations done fast? Come here and be impressed. Not only do they clean and do alterations, but they also rent tuxedo’s and party dresses. I was there and it took me over an hour to decide with all their different styles.
Great location near Kaiser off Kiely and Homestead.

I’ve had this shop alter a couple of sweater and a motorcycle riding pants
The sweaters had to be fitted, reduce the waist size. For my motorcycle riding pants I asked to attach the jacket back bottom zipper (came with the jacket) to the back of the pants (so the two can be connected while riding). Also, the front belt area of the pants had to be fixed: the original buttons fell off (cheap assembly) and so I asked her to put industrial Velcro instead.
The lady was very attentive and patient with me, took her time to understand what I wanted. The quality of the work is also very good. She had the necessary heavy duty machine to attach the Velcro. Price is fair, not expensive. I am very happy with the service I received. Thank you!

I havae been going to Express Alterations for at least three years and have always been extremely satisfied. The work is of very high quality and the owner really takes pride in what she does. I am short, so I have to alter many things. I have had hems in pants and skirts and dresses altered, and every time the results were perfect. The items come back pressed and ready to wear. forgot to write an update, they did a neat work on my daughter’s dress and I loved it.. They were good with delicate, heavy hand work Indian outfits. will be going back for more alterations in future

I went here to get a simple dress hemmed. She charged me 20 bucks just for a hem! And she hemmed WAY shorter than I asked AND IT’S INCREDIBLY CRUCID! I still try and wear this dress, and EVERY time I wear, someone comments on how diagonal the hem is… Never coming back here and don’t recommend it to others. For realz

I am thrilled to have found Express Alterations at their new location. I’d used them before for a very complicated alteration of a dress where she had to add a weight in to the seam of a sheer dress. I was so impressed with her work! Now that we’ve found her again, she’s altering my sons scout uniform and I plan to have her make curtains for me.

I had my wedding dress altered here and Zarghona was so informative and helpful. I lost 4 inches from the time I bought the dress to when it was time for a fitting so she had to do some major «taking in». Her professionalism really shows in her work! Her confidence really impressed me and when we went back to try on the finished product, I was in love with my dress all over again!
I also had my daughter’s dress altered here and she made it possible for the alterations to be «undone» so my daughter can grow into it… great suggestion if you ask me!
I don’t think she is over priced in anyway because the confidence that it will be done right is priceless!

I’ve been twice in this place. Sayed did quite complicated alteration on the sleeves of my new expensive jacket and hemmed couple of jeans. And it was quite fast too. When i needed my jeans done next day she didn’t charge me extra. I would use her service again.

Express Alterations is fantastic! Not only are they very fast in getting the alterations done, but the work is extremely high quality. I have given the lady who works there all kinds of clothes over the past year (slacks, jeans, intricate fancy indian outfits, wedding dresses) and she has never failed to impress me. When I needed my very fancy, delicate indian wedding outfits altered, she was able to do to the work quickly and by hand so as not to disturb the beading work on the dress and the delicate chiffon cloth, and made the dress fit me perfectly! I’d highly recommend this place.
