No joke this vintage party bus is THE BEST! We celebrated my best friend’s 40^th and went wine tasting IN STYLE with the most fun driver Fransisco — they even painted a hashtag for all our party pics on the side of the bus!!! Don’t believe me? Such a fun party bus! Fransisco did a wonderful job driving us around Santa Ynez for our friends 40^th birthday. We toured around different wineries, drank way too much and he got us all back to our hotel safety. Thank you Fransisco and jump on the school bus for a great time! We’ll definitely be using you again.

What a great experience. I was initially hesitant based on the cost; however, the experience was well worth the money spent. Our driver Ron Hart is an experienced and trustworthy man. We look forward to repeating the experience.

This is far and away the only way to travel with a group. I worked with Darin to surprise my wife for her 50^th birthday party. We had 15 guests and they all loved it. From the sound system to the ice cooler stocked with water, to all the room. Guests danced and drank from SB to Ventura and then again on our return trip home. Our driver was Inda, he was on time, courteous and let us extend our time a bit without charging us more money/​I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience. This is a great local business that truly puts the customers first. This is a common theme here on Unilocal and they certainly merits all the 5 star reviews they’ve received. We look forward to working with them again!

It’s been a few years since I first Jump (ed) On The School Bus, and it is still as fun as ever! Whether renting it out for a private event, or joining in on one of their pre-​established tours — JOTSB delivers every time! They’ve grown so much in the past few years, which speaks volumes in our tiny coastal community which sees small businesses open and close at the blink of an eye.
In addition to owners, Darin & Sierra, Danny is among my favorite drivers! He keeps things lighthearted but not at the expense of safety. In terms of reliability, JOTSB maintains their professionalism while creating a fun environment. That can be a difficult balance but they make it look easy.
If you’re heading to the Valley, throwing a party„ or ever have the opportunity to Jump On The Bus to get you to and from an event, I highly recommend making their big, black bus your ride!

Highly recommend! We used them for a bachelorette party and had an amazing experience wine tasting. They coordinated the wine tasting and route as well as provided recommendations throughout the day. You can customize the bus with whatever you want to say on the sides which was a nice personal touch. They provided a huge cooler with ice and water, Aux cord for music, stripper pole and spacious open seating style for plenty of dancing! Ron was an amazing driver and really made the experience fun and easy. I’d definitely use them again!

We booked one of the larger buses for a recent birthday wine tasting tour and could not have been happier with the experience! The bus arrived on time and had our personalized message on each side, which the birthday boy and girl absolutely loved. Our driver was awesome throughout the trip which consisted of two winery stops of our choosing and then a few hours to stroll around Los Olivos.
At first, we had a small snag as our phones couldn’t sync up to the Bluetooth on the stereo receiver, and the aux cable was broken on the bus. But the owners delivered a new aux cable by the time we finished our first winery so we could have music for the rest of the day. Awesome! Oh, and the owners also stopped by to say hi while we were in Los Olivos and to make sure everything was going well. Talk about customer service!
In short, I’d definitely recommend Jump On The School Bus for all your group transportation, winery, or brewery tour needs!

THIS WAS THE BEST! We rented a short bus for a friend’s 30^th birthday wine tasting day in Santa Ynez. Our driver, Francisco, arrived 5 minutes early, and was so friendly. He was super accommodating in taking all of the pictures we asked him to take of us in front of the bus — WHICH HAD THE NAME OF OUR EVENT ON THE SIDE! He had an aux cord for our music, and helped each one of us on to and off of the bus at each stop. Francisco offered winery and lunch spot suggestions throughout the day — super helpful since none of us was very familiar with the area.
Later in the day, Darrin, the owner, was SO nice and met up with us to make sure everything was going well. He also was plentiful with winery and food suggestions in the area.
Overall, this was a seamless and PHENOMENALLY FUN day. Thanks, Jump on the School Bus! I can’t wait to party with you again!

What a fun night we had! Organizing was easy! Darin and Sierra are professional and friendly. Our families were treated to an amazing driver in Danny, who was fun, sweet, friendly. Helped get our little one to a restroom when need. We felt we had a friend on board. He knows where to go and did so safely. The bus was so festive and so much more comfortable than a trolley. The tour bus provided for the OYE: Unilocal’s Jingle Bus Holiday Lights Tour was perfect for the event. The driver Danny was awesome. He was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable of Santa Barbara and in the Christmas spirit. He kept us on track and took us on a great Christmas Lights Tour.
This tour was a new experience for me and it was fantastic. I was impressed with how organized it was. The bus arrived at Reds Bin 211 on time. The layout inside the bus was designed for large groups to face one another with a couple of double sets in the back and front of the bus. The bus was clean and in great condition.
They also do other types of tours so if you are planning a bus tour event be sure to check them out.

The OYE Jingle Bus Holiday lights tour of 2015 was the best ride of my life! Danny was our driver and he was an awesome tour guide. Thank you Danny for taking us rowdy Unilocalers around town showing us all that our beautiful city has to offer during the Christmas season.
The bus was lit up with pretty Christmas lights and I loved how the seating arrangements were. It wasn’t your basic school bus where all the seats are facing the driver. They had a few of those in the front but starting in the middle to back the seats were facing each other making for a comfy space to sit next to your friends.
The Christmas music played on the bus was awesome! Great selection of tunes to jam out to. I wish I would have asked Danny where the music was from but in any case it was a great mix.
Best part of the night was taking us to the Milpas roundabout and circling around like 6 – 7 times or so it seemed. There were no cars around and we just kept going and going around it like kids on a merry-​go-​round. It was definitely a blast and I would love to do it all over again!

Danny was our driver for the Jingle Bus Holiday Tour for the OYE… Uh, can you say the BEST bus driver in SB? We had a great time because Danny took us to all the beautiful homes decked out for the holidays. His driving skills are excellent, safe, and not once did I get car sick (THANKS!).
Danny was considerate of us lookie-​loos as we gazed at the sparkly lights, he slowed down and even stopped at a few places for us. There are handles on the ceiling that make it easy to stand up with you enjoy the sights. Seats are converted so you can enjoy your company.
The bus was very clean and seats were comfy. It was a bit on the colder side because it’s an older school bus, but nonetheless, so much fun! Stereo system packed some bass and we had so much fun singing along to Christmas tunes.
Thank you Danny for making our night and cranking up the holiday cheer :)

Seriously, I’m not the kind of person who usually writes online reviews, but I cannot say enough great things about Darin and Sierra. They are two of the most genuine people I’ve ever met and they helped make my girlfriend’s birthday party one of the most amazing weekends ever!!!
Earlier this year I was tasked with planning a fun wine tour for my girlfriend Anna’s 30^th birthday party in the Santa Barbara wine region for about 25 of our closest friends. Being from LA, I didn’t have a lot of contacts in that region and as I started making calls, I realized that my options were seemingly very limited. Either we had to pay an expensive limo company to drive us around at a high hourly cost and arrange all the tours on our own OR we would have had to pay a high cost per person to go on a predetermined itinerary from a traditional wine tour company. Neither option was ideal and we were beginning to think that we might not be able to pull off the fun and affordable wine tour party we wanted.
That is, until we found Jump on the School Bus!
From the first call with Darin, I could tell that they were different. They didn’t charge a high hourly rate or offer to take us along a standard wine tour route — the whole experience was personalized and they helped us at every step of the way. From coordinating our wine tours at the vineyards we wanted, to helping me find a bakery for Anna’s cake in Santa Barbara (they even picked up the cake for me), the whole experience really blew us away. And, it was it was all very reasonably priced.
Not to mention — it was FUN!!! Like really, really, FUN.
The bus was perfect for our group of friends who just wanted to a good time. We got to play our own music, bring own food, and even decorate the interior with photos of Anna. To top it all off, our driver was really kind, amazing, and responsible. They even provided water bottles to everyone, (which came in handy after about the 3^rd or 4^th winery).
I honestly cannot recommend Jump on the School Bus more — especially if you have a group of fun loving young adults that want to have an enjoyable wine tour… this is by far your best option. I guarantee that you’ll have way more fun than a traditional wine tour company or limo service and you’ll probably end up spending less money as well.
And… in full disclosure — Anna and I recently got engaged and we are thinking of having our wedding in that same Santa Barbara region. Provided we do, Jump on the School bus will be our first call for wedding transportation as well.

Jump on the school bus is a great company. We had them for our wedding after party ride. Our reception was at Pure Order and Jump in the school bus took us to the after party at Blush. It was a quick ride, but everyone was crazy happy about it. It was so fun that I wanted to be in it up and down state street instead of stopping at the bar. Whoever didn’t make on the bus that night had to heard from everyone next day what they missed out. Thank you so much Darin!

We hired Jump on the School Bus for our wedding in October. We learned about them from Brian Hall at Cold Spring Tavern when we booked the venue. We didn’t have a wedding planner, so we planned everything ourselves. During the week of our wedding, we wanted to be done with planning, but it didn’t really work out that way since we still had to do some coordinating with Darin. They’re not the most organized or prompt when it comes to communicating via email, I think it’s just their relaxed, no rush, Santa Barbarian nature. So you’d need to do the diligent work of calling and just be patient in general. Heck, we had to chase Darin down in order to make one of our payments! One hotel stop we added last minute and discussed with them was not communicated to our driver, Cindy, so we had to explain to her on our trip home. Cindy was great, fun and played all the right sing along songs. Nothing like belting out American Pie on the way down the hill with all the bus riders. The bus is huge, clean and festive. As you can see from other photos, you can personalize the letters on the side of the bus. Overall, it all worked out and our very drunk guests got to their hotels safe and sound, which was the most important thing. Thanks, Darin, Sierra and Cindy!

I hired Jump on the School Bus for a birthday party. The driver was prompt, kept in contact via text the whole time, calmly and patiently transported 45 thirteen year old kids and was very professional. The constant text messages with drop off, pick up and waiting updates was a plus when trying to wrangle 45 kids. We also booked them just three days before the event and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. Thank you again for helping make a great birthday party!

Cindy has driven me to Bacon n Barrels and Surf ‘n Suds. Both trips were easy and well worth the fee. Don’t drink and drive! Hop on the Bus instead.
Not totally organized and not prompt for the two events I’ve jumped on. Busses left late but did not impact general admission ticket holders. VIP did loose some event time which is not cool when you pay the extra bucks (not me, I’m cheap). The return were easy and to my knowledge, no one missed the bus but not sure how they would know. Was there a secret headcount I missed? No checklist was… checked.
I’ve known Darin and Sierra for years and I’m happy to support this venture.

they are AMAZING! My sisters wedding was this past weekend and we needed last minute transportation (I called the day of and Darin was absolutely awesome). They saved the day and worked with us. Ron was our driver and he was so sweet and funny. I loved that he sent me photos of the bus and the wedding. They really made the process so easy and fun!

We are still waiting for our pictures to come back, but pending those, I couldn’t wait to say how awesome Jump On The School Bus is. We used the service for our wedding to transport guests from downtown Santa Barbara to Glen Annie Golf Club in Goleta. Throughout the entire process, Darin and Sierra are just awesome people. They are truly one of a kind and I wish I had words that adequately encompassed how sincere and rad they are.
They made planning fun and arranging the schedule with them was easy. Darin and Sierra provided guidance where and when I needed it. They also offered to pick up the wedding party separately from guests early — I can’t say what a blessing that was to us. On the day of our wedding, they had a text message chain with some of the wedding party to keep everyone posted. Well organized and well orchestrated with so little stress involved.
The buses were fun, amped with music and lights, and clean. Of all the wonderful things from our wedding weekend in Santa Barbara, we will always remember Jump On The School Bus as one of the best memories and investments. If you are having any sort of event, I recommend getting to know Darin, Sierra, and their lovely chariot.
