Established in 2004.

Joel’s Roofing and Gutter Co Inc. has been serving the Santa Barbara area since 2004. We are a professional roofing, rain gutter & sheet metal installation company. We specialize in new commercial and residential installations. In addition, our maintenance department repairs existing roof and rain gutter systems that may not need complete replacement. Besides roofing and rain gutters we also install stainless steel counter tops for commercial and residential kitchens, custom chimney shrouds, skylights, standing seam metal roofs, custom metal and wood fascia, metal siding, window and door pans, storm drains, radius copper & steel gutters. We are licensed with the California State Licensing Board, and carry all required insurance and bonds as required by law.

I called today when it was raining because I saw that one of our gutter ends was leaking in several places. Dan answered and quoted me $ 235 just to come out and take a look! I was stunned. It is a small job. I told him up front. So not worth $ 235. I understand a $ 50 charge to come and look and repair but not $ 235. Sorry. You’ve lost my business and my friends will know not to call you either.

Set up a time to have Joel’s roofing inspect my roof but they were too busy to come that day and had to postpone — they did not tell me until I contacted them the day before.
They were going to call me about another time, but again that didn’t happen until I contacted them. We finally settled on another day but then they didn’t show. I know we are expecting El Nino rains this year and roofers are very busy — but this is just unprofessional.

Had a very good experience with Joel and his company. First, they came out very quickly to do the work — two days after I first contacted them. This was really important to us. Second, they did a good job with the roof cleaning project. Third, the price was very reasonable. All in all, I would highly recommend this company.
