The Dynamic Drum School provides fun and informative drum lessons in Orange County for students of all ages and levels. A patient and professional teacher with over 18 years of teaching experience will help you or your child create an individual lesson plan. You will learn all the important drumming techniques and also learn how to play your favorite songs from Led Zepplin, AC/​DC, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones to current bands like One Direction, Katy Perry, Jay-​Z, Eminem, Maroon 5, Adele, Fun, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Coldplay, etc. The Dynamic Drum School’s primary goal is to enrich and expose its students to the wonderful world of music, rhythm and drumming.

As a teacher, I strive to inspire in my students a love and appreciation for music through dedication, discipline and, most importantly, fun. A very patient teacher, I connect easily with students of all ages. I really love to teach and still take lessons myself to keep learning the latest drumming techniques and to keep my curriculum new and exciting for my students. I am trained in many styles of music including rock, blues, jazz, gospel, rock, funk, Brazilian, and Cuban. I create an individual lesson plan for every student that is focused on the student’s interests as well as short and long term goals. I feel tremendously fortunate to be able to share my love of music and drumming with my students. What better job could I possibly have then teaching students the best and most fun instrument in the world.

Chris attended the New England Conservatory of Music and Purchase College of Music, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in music. Chris has taught at the Preparatory School, at the New England Conservatory of Music, the esteemed private school Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, CT, the Harvey School in Katonah, NY, and the Forman School in Litchfield, CT. As a professional drummer, Chris has performed and or recorded with Johnnie Johnson (Chuck Berry), Nat Reeves (Sting, Kenny Garrett), Stanley Jordan, Charles Flores (Michel Camilo), Jim Pugh (Steely Dan, Barbara Streisand, Paul Simon), Juan Pablo Torres, 5 time Grammy nominated band Roomful of Blues, Dario Eskenazi, Hector Martigon, Gary Mazzoroppi, Thomas Bramerie, Steve Davis (Chick Corea), Jimmy Greene, Eijiro Nakagawa, the Mills Brothers, Jovino Santos Neto, Pete Malinverni, and many others. Chris has performed and toured in Canada, Europe, South America, Asia, and in 46 states throughout the United States.
