I haven’t been to a Carl’s Jr in years but I wanted to try the 1⁄3 lb Steakhouse Burger… It would have been good if it wasn’t so dry. I had it without the blue cheese. The fries weren’t great either. I’m giving it 3 stars because they took care of me quickly in the drive through and the burger has promise.

Can’t go wrong with a western bacon cheeseburger! I do have to say, that it was really clean in the dining area, and, the man(wish I would have got his name) who took my order was very pleasant.

First things first, the Latina lady that waited on us was fabulous! Very helpful, very professional, very pleasant. But geeeyawd! Those chicken enchiladas(was it chicken? or chicken parts, ground up and remolded into something that looks like chicken?). That crap was horrible! What a disappointment! And the barfrito(burrito) wasn’t any better. What happened to that wonderful green chile burrito we ate in Hawai’i a few years ago or in Palm Springs? Probably won’t go back to Carl’s Jr. any time soon. The nearest to us is Oklahoma so, no worries.

Typical CJ’s mixed with The Green Burrito. Service is fast but not the best. Lots of confusion from the drive-through staff, orders are usually wrong and that’s why the line is so bad. However when it comes to fast food I think Carl’s Jr. is one of the best and I still torture myself with poor service and long lines and even give out a three star review from time to time.

What the heck am I doing in Santa Ana having lunch at Carl’s Jr??? When there is one just up the street from where I live… well, I was there on business, ALL day. Love their Santa Fe Chicken. No matter where the location, how clean or dirty… I will always have one of those no matter what. So, this location was not the cleanest. But, it wasn’t filthy either. Just crumbs on tables from previous customers. What I’m impressed about is, he got my order right. Usually, at fast food restaurants, messing up my order is a must. I was glad to see that did not happen. Overall good service.

I’m pretty understanding when it comes to fast food. I mean, it’s fast food, right? You don’t expect much, and the standards are much lower. Having said that, this Carl’s Jr is definitely one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve had. Coming back from a long day at work, it was past 10pm and we were looking for a quick meal to scarf down before bed. We didn’t need much — just something simple and filling. I ordered a basic cheeseburger, which was easily the least satisfying I’ve had. It was almost cold, and had barely any of the fixings(tomato, onion, etc) promised. My brother ordered a couple tacos. He wanted them vegetarian — so he asked to substitute the meat for beans. Well, instead of adding beans, they just left the meat out and we got tacos with… wait for it… onions and cilantro only. Unfortunately we ordered to-go so we didn’t realize the mistake until much too late. Normally I’m okay with fast food in a pinch, but this was definitely the most disappointing experience!

Slow and wrong. Ordered a shake and a malt to go. Cashier entered two shakes and when asked said he would fix it. When delivered cashier said it was a shake and a malt. Tastes them and two shakes. We left. This was after a Long wait for food. People verbally complaining but no manager or lead person in evidence. Drive thru backed up and employees Carrying food out to cars. But no body hurrying. Just gliding through their shift with out a care. No I won’t be back to this store.

Without a doubt, the worst Carl’s Jr. I’ve ever been to. Horrible quality food, everything is soaked in grease(even by Cael’s standards) abnormally long wait times with no one else in line, and the cashiers are so bad at English they’ll have you repeat your order several times and still get it wrong. I ordered a single sandwich, was charged for a combo meal after walking in with a drink in hand, and after four tries to correct the order, I gave up and took the combo, and poured a watery, flat beverage from the soda machine they never bother to clean or change syrup on. They were also out of chicken, as if this place has enough traffic to be out of anything. I’ve given this Carl’s multiple chances. Never again!

I used the drive-thru here on a Saturday evening to buy a milkshake. The wait was rather long in my opinion with only two cars in front. I don’t know if the employees were slow or the people in the car just ordered too much that it took a while for the employees to make.

This place has HORRIBLE service! Employees were rude and slow workers. I dined in and it took 20 mins to get 3 items of food. There was only 5 people inside and were already served. They were serving people in the drive thru faster than people dining in. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Never again.

1. Worst Customer service. 2. Employees don’t speak english. 3. I was the only customer in line, but still had to wait over 10 minutes. 4. 2 girls were just chatting w/each other in non-english. 5. Only ordered 1 item(burger), but still botched my order.

Grill Cod sandwich… get it protein style wrapped in lettuce and you have a pretty healthy meal… well at least as healthy as you can get at a fast food place anyway… Still a little greasy, but good all the same, ask to go easy on the tartar sauce or it will come smothered… Bön apatite!

Their broiled Chicken sandwich was perhaps the best I’ve had, thus far. Price was reasonable.

As someone else mentioned, it certainly is clean. And the food seemed standard compared to other Carl’s Jr locations. I usually try to think I’m eating healthy and order a chicken breast sandwich protein(lettuce wrap) style or a salad here, and they are standard in preparation. The staff always seems confused to me for some reason.

What can you really say… it’s a CJs. But probably one of the best ones. It’s very clean and low-key with great customer service. And I’m sorry, CJs has some of the best fast food burgers around. I know someone reading this is pulling their hair out and screaming«In-N-Out» but I stand by my decision. CJs has variety and the sandwiches are down right tasty. Long live CJs… Sue me :)

Thanks for the horrible heart burn I had all morning long. Also, your hours are weird, your parking lot sucks, and the only reason I even ate ½ of the food I ordered was because I was so hungry that I was shaking. Never again.

You know what? It takes a lot for me to muster up the courage and shove away the self-appointed fat-shaming required to Unilocal review a fast food joint… however, there’s a first for everything. This is also my first one-star review. This Carl’s Jr. is horrid. I usually love their food. I mean, how do you screw up a Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger? Whenever I order one of those things, I’m usually too occupied with shoving an abundance of processed meats, greasy bacon, and onion rings down my gullet because I’ve lost all sense of self-esteem and any modicum of pride has washed away due to my urge for something horribly unhealthy, but surprisingly tasty. HOWEVER: I can tell you how these guys managed to screw up my evening where I just wanted to be a fat loser. The chili cheese fries were horribly underwhelming. It was as if they’d been sitting there for an hour. They were soggy, the chili cheese was lackluster. They were the«slacker in the back of the classroom» of chili cheese fries. Oh, and my double western cheeseburger? ITWAS A PATTYSHORT. ITWASLOPSIDED. Dude, it was basically the botched boob-job of cheeseburgers. I would rather eat off of the floor of a truck stop McDonald’s than eat here again. Oh, and that single star that this place has earned is because they screwed up my order and served me a large soda where a small had been ordered. The thing is, I was also charged for that large soda… so, we’ll call that one a draw.

This carls is one of the cleanest ones I’ve been to. It’s also the one with the daftest staff ever. Sadly is pretty much one of the very few lunch options for me. I’ll illustrate as a prior poster did. I asked for a veggie sandwich that was advertised all over the store and got a blank look and a response of we don’t do that. I pointed to it(not 2′ from her face). She said«oh that» and charged me for it. This was during my very short stint as a vegetarian, so please understand my dismay when I get veggie sandwich stuffed with bacon. I went up and told the lady that ordered a vegetarian sandwich per my receipt and show her the bacon in it. At this point she calls the manager, wtf?! And tells her in Spanish that I don’t want the sandwich I ordered. The manager asks me to show her the sandwich and for her privilege I let her know what I ordered and show her what I received. She actually looks at me perplexed and says«that’s the veggie sandwich you ordered, what’s wrong with it?» I had to tell her«this vegetarian sandwich has bacon in it» to which she replied«oh you wanted it without bacon» at this point the long line laughed so hard, I actually felt sorry for the crappy manager. Still I don’t think she ever understood that bacon isn’t a vegetable.

Me: May I have a large number 4 to go please. Cashier: Would you like to upsize that? Me: What? Cashier: Upsize? Medium? Large? Me: Upsize a large number 4? To what?(I hear laughter from the person behind me) Cashier: {blank stare} Me: Large. Number 4. To go. Cashier: For here or to go?
