History

Established in 1984.

It all started more than 35 years ago when we needed a manager for our own properties and none existed that met our expectations, so we learned how to do it right. Then others asked us to help them with their properties. It’s now been more than 30 years since we’ve been in business serving other investors.

We were the first certified members of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) in Utah; the first to receive NARPM’s prestigious Residential Management Professional (RMP) designation; and the first property managers in Utah to receive NARPM’s esteemed and exclusive Master Property Manager (MPM) designation. Besides the two owners of Safeguard, only one other property manager in Utah has earned the MPM distinction.

Both of Safeguard’s managing partners have served as Vice President and President of NARPM’s Utah Chapter.
