After a near 7 year stint at a local competitor, the owner of CSD Audio felt he could do better on his own. In August of 2009, CSD opened its doors. Being a small, independent shop, CSD decided to focus on 1 on 1 customer relationships over the stack it deep and sell it cheap strategy of most local competitors. Since then, CSD has made Mobile Electronics Magazine’s list of Top 50 retailers in the USA and Travis Pendley, the owner and installer has been named to the Top 100 installers in the nation twice. For as long as I can remember, i’ve had a passion for great sound. I’ve been very fortunate to grow up listening to some of the best audio equipment in the world. For car audio especially, it’s given me a unique perspective on how a car should sound. The systems I design and install are more balanced, natural, and lifelike than anything you’ve ever heard in a car. I started in this industry back in the late 1990’s, working for some of the top local shops and in 2009, I decided to take the leap and go into business for myself. I love seeing the smile on my client’s faces as they crank up their new CSD Audio system for the first time and I enjoy being able to provide them with the same type of entertainment experience that made me so passionate about this industry from the beginning.
