I have been in the cleaning business for 22 years. Actually since I was 5 years old. One day my mother was very busy and asked me to vacuum the living room and dining room. I gladly helped her out., I moved all the furniture out and vacuumed the entire dining room. I then didn’t like the lines the vacuum left behind so I raked the room and did it again after I put the furniture back because I didn’t like the footprints. I did the same for the living room. When I was all finished my mother paid me a dollar. I asked if I can go to the drug store and get a soda and doughnut. It was getting close to dinner and I was sure she would say no. She let me, and out the door I went. After all that I didn’t have enough money and the man told me to come back later. The next day I asked to vacuum the rest of the house. My mother said no drug store this time so I confessed I owed him 10 cents from yesterday.

To this day I still vacuum in the type work I do. I was molded early in life.
