I took over Peninsula Tint over 10 years ago from someone who had already established it, and established it with quite the reputation! He didn’t want to hand over his business to just anyone. Being as meticulous as he was, he accepted and we came up with the business plan. I took over operation and to this day I’ve been happily serving the Monterey Peninsula with outstanding products, craftsmanship and customer service! Needless to say I’ve withheld the reputation to the T!

Peter is by far the best tint man in the valley. We purchased a new car and had the windows tinted by the dealer. What a joke !! They left a ½ edge at the top of all windows. It looked horrible. Peter removed the old tint and replaced it with new tint to the edge of the window.
He is the only one on the central coast that still removes the window from the car. It’s done the right way. A matter of fact, he uses infared light, so you can roll you windows down when you leave is place.

We hired Peter at Peninsula Tint to install shatterproof window film on five windows at our home. We needed the film to meet building code at the top and bottom of our stair case.
Our particular installation was a bit tricky due to the age and unique construction of the house, and one window even had a BB-​gun hole in it. The installation was very clean and smooth on four of the windows, but the window with the BB hole in it broke during installation of the film.
I believe other installers probably would have tried to shift the blame but Peter took full responsibility for the window and MADE IT RIGHT ! He did a great job in removing the broken glass, sealing up the window, and ordering replacement glass on the spot.
This happened the day before Christmas but he kept in touch with us throughout the process and came back to install the new glass right after New Year’s. The installation of the new window was quick and clean. We’re happy with the final result AND we can now pass inspection! Thanks, Peter!
