I needed gutter cleaning and didn’t realize how badly till the last big storm. I called a few places that had good reviews. Janitorial Bay was in the middle, price-​wise. And they had an appointment available sooner than the others. They quoted me over the phone. They crew arrived early. They were thorough and clean. So far, the gutters are working great. So glad not to have a waterfall overflowing the gutters anymore! Thanks!

This is the second time I have used their service and I am very happy with the effort Jose put on cleaning my carpets. Very quick response and excellent service and nominal rates.

Okay, so over the last few days, I learned why Janitorial Bay Service (JBS) is a 5 star Unilocal business.
After the most recent rains, I noticed water pouring over my gutters — something that should not happen.
Next morning, I saw water dripping from my gutters — something that should not happen.

Quick response — please send your address. I think they Google street-​viewed my home then texted me a quote — $ 235.
Sound like a lot? Well, if you’ve ever been on a 24′ ladder… or thought about the danger involved working 3 – 4′ above the ground, let alone 20′+, then $ 235 to blow out downspouts, scrape gutters and ensure your home is in fine working order before El Nino arrives, this is a deal!
Initially, they told me they’d be able to do the work in a week or so… fine. Then, I got a last minute text message — tomorrow at 11 – 11:30 AM work? Yup.
Seriously, I was so stoked and confident in these folks, I wrote a check, left it at my front door and texted whomever I’d been communicating with that payment was waiting for them and I trusted them to do their thing.
Around 12:45 on Friday, I received a text message that they had cleared some blockages in the gutters/​downspouts and I was dialed in.
When I returned home, there was clear evidence that they had been there (left my yard clean, however).
Bottom line: I’m a super trusting dude (if you screw me, I’ll go nuclear on you via Unilocal,social media and the web) and I have huge appreciation for people who work hard, do a great job and do what they say they’re going to do — without any hassle and in consideration of my time/​efforts — JBS delivered on all counts.
If I could, I’d do six, seven, eight, nine or even ten stars? Yup, I would.

Needed my gutters cleaned before the arrival of El Nino rains. I received a competitive estimate, they arrived on time, and they did great job! Couldn’t have been easier!

Found Joe (actually our rescue Pom clued me in that there’s a contractor nearby by barking endlessly) on the street this afternoon cleaning out the gutters for a few of my neighbors. Asked him on a whim if he could fit us in too last minute and they were on it! Great job, now we have peace of mind this winter when those rains start.

Joe did both windows and carpets for our home. Neither had been touched in years and were dismal. Joe worked his butt off, down in hands and knees with a scrub brush on tough spill stains — white carpets (not by choice, the house came with them), too many kids, you can imagine.

For 3 years I dragged my feet having my windows washed. My wife convinced it was time. I had done this 3 times myself before neck surgery halted those efforts. Joe offered a reasonable estimate & spent 6 hrs cleaning the windows and screens. He transformed the view from our home. He’s a hard worker, good guy and does an outstanding job at a fair price.

I called JBS for an urgent cleaning request and they were very accommodating and gave stellar recommendations on what could/​should be done i the bathroom. Great guys! I would highly recommend their service.

I called Janitorial Bay Service for an urgent cleaning request on a Wednesday afternoon and needed to have the job done by Saturday! Joe, the owner, came to my new house with his business partner Jose on Thursday. The job was huge. I requested to have 1) the exterior of the house cleaned and washed including the gutters; 2) both the exterior and interior of the windows (about 65 of them!) washed; 3) all window sills and tracks cleaned and window hinges lubed; 4) the backyard patios, walkways and garage floors power washed. This was done before we moved into the house which means a lot of the unwanted stuff had been sitting there for a long time and needed to be scrubbed carefully and cleaned thoroughly.
The crew started on Friday around noon and they worked till late evening. The next day, Joe and Jose worked so hard and despite the unexpected, finished the job at almost 11pm! And the result? They made the house look like a beautiful shiny pearl!
When you talk to Joe, you will be able to see sparks of determination and passion. He is one of those few people who sets his own high standards and works diligently to reach it without being pushed. As a business owner, Joe puts customer satisfaction as his top priority.
