History

Established in 2013.

The name «MCCOY» is not that of the founder, the owner, nor anyone working here at MCCOY Auto Brokers. Instead, it was a name chosen as a constant reminder to us that we are all about providing what we call «Real Value».

Any car buying broker can «talk» about getting a great price. Our job is to actually get you that great price using strategic car buying research and leveraging dealership relationships. And any auto brokerage can «claim» to provide excellent customer service. Our business is built on referrals, so our success depends upon it.

We want to help our clients and we want to do things right. That means showing respect for your time, the investment you’re about to make, and the trust you place in us. That respect even extends to the dealerships, wholesalers, collision centers, financial institutions, and other parties that ultimately help us help you. We negotiate aggressively but fairly on behalf of our clients, which ensures that our vendors negotiate fairly with us.

Rich G.

Business Owner

Rich Gasaway is the founder and owner of MCCOY Auto Brokers. He’s also the primary client liaison, preferring to deal directly with both MCCOY’s clients and its vendors.

Rich began at a very young age and his experience covers a range of specialties. That background includes: working in family-​owned auto parts facilities, dealership conversion centers, auto dealerships, and custom hot rod shops; 15 years managing dealership sales teams; overseeing leasing portfolios; and managing both Fleet and Customer Service departments. Many of those years were spent with Mercedes-​Benz, where Rich’s work ethic, attention to detail, and emphasis on service was of paramount importance.

On a personal level, Rich balances the demands of running MCCOY Auto Brokers with the rewards and responsibilities that come with raising two young children. He also channels his discipline and intensity into his success as a competitive cyclist; characteristics that he finds helpful when working on behalf of clients
