Chuck and Tony were great… I took my 1958 Ford Ranch Wagon in for extensive front end work and it is running like a top. Highly recommended!

We’ve used Chuck and Tony for Years. Many Years ago I worked as a mechanic. These Men are at the top of their game ! Work is done in a timely manner and done right ! over the years We never had to return an Auto because of a failed repair. Price is fair.

I had them repair a radiator for me a few weeks back… I was quoted $ 40 by numerous other radiator shops in the area so I assumed A&C would be competitive. I dropped off the radiator and they said they would have to have a friend come in and have a look at it. After not hearing from them for 3 days, they called and told me it was all done and that I owed them $ 90. I asked why it was so much more and he said that his rent is expensive. They never called me with an estimate! I could have purchased a new one for that money! And to make matters worse, they just used some epoxy to seal the leak… Although the customer service was very nice, I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone I know, sorry guys.
Update: the repair they performed on my radiator has since failed. It started to leak from the repair they performed so I called them back to notify them. They told me to bring it back and they would look at it. I dropped it off and didn’t hear back from them for 2 weeks so I called to inquire… They said it was all done so I picked it up. As soon as I got it home, it started to leak again… Moral of the story… They failed to fix a vary basic problem twice! I brought it to another Bay Area repair shop and they repaired it perfectly. What a total waste of time.

After Pennzoil managed to mess up my AC system (read my review about Pennzoil in san rafael), A&C auto came to the rescue. The guy took my car in right away, and 20 minutes later, had my system working flawlessly. They are good, hardworking, honest people. These guys know what they’re doing. If my car ever has problems, I will be sure to go back here.

First time I have ever written a review on Unilocal but these guys are the best around hands down. Honest as the day is long and great with new or old cars. Most people can’t even work on an older car as they don’t have computer codes to tell them what is wrong.

These guys are awesome. They have always fixed my car promptly, and for a fair price. Not only that, they never fix stuff that doesn’t quite need it yet. They always tell me what’s beginning to wear and how much it will cost to repair and how much longer I should wait, or if I should wait at all. Super nice, and most importantly SUPER HONEST!

I should have read Eric’s review before I started taking my car in. I have taken my car for more than 5-​times since last year because my A/​C has never worked right since they had replaced my A/​C. After spending over $ 1,500, it still did not work. They kept saying that’s about it. I gave up on them and brought my car elsewhere; they fixed it within a few hours.
I had received other services, but they did most things wrong. I needed to bring my car back again and again (in hope for them not to charge me for what they did not do right in the first place.) I ended up spending total $ 3,500; my mechanic at the new place was astonished how much A & C have overcharged me. BEWARE!

I wouldn’t trust anyone else that the guys at A&C with my car when it comes to geting it fixed!
Being a woman I have come across some sketchy mechanics who try to pull a fast one thinking I don’t know anything about cars. Quite the contrary! I just want it done right and at a reasonable price!
Well I found it at A&C! And yes it is the best place in Marin to take a leak! For your radiator that is! 8)
