My car was erroneously towed by the Richmond PD. They were empathetic as anyone who works at an impound/​tow lot could be. I didn’t arrive expecting warm and fuzzy emotions from a plastic-​paned service window.
They quickly led me and my insurance inspector into the garage where the tow men helped me and my insurance agent in any way possible. One even worked to pick a lock that I couldn’t open b/​c of my accident… after 15min he gave up but he did his best! The tow men were helpful and friendly and after my horrible, horrible week it was nice to receive genuine smiles of compassion.
It did irritate me to no end that there is no street sign for the road they are located on… just a business sign. It is NOT easy to find.
