I think it is time to take the word ‘Community’ out of the name. The recent fundraising/​match through Razoo left a lot of the non-​profits involved with less money than when they started. I have donated to one of the organizations for over a decade and was delighted when I got the information about a match of up to 5X my donation. Donations had to be made by credit card — the fee charged against the donation. In the end, the match was ONLY up to $ 20,000 — and that $ 20,000 was from a donation made by regular donors that were also charged the credit card fee. In the end, if the non profit had not gotten involved in this campaign, they would have received my donation and the $ 20,000 anyway BUT without losing the fees to the credit card. It was a brilliant marketing campaign by SVCF for their own benefit, leaving someone like me wondering what ‘Community’ SVCF is supposed to be helping? I will give my hard earned money directly to the organizations and leave out the middle man from now on.

Beautiful facility. Clean and well maintained. Fantastic place for meetings and conferences.
