Scott Baker, Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist

I only started trying acupuncture this year and boy is it amazing! Especially with such a kind and knowledgeable acupuncturist! I have always had an issue with my piriformis muscle and sciatic nerve for years (I never even knew that was the term until Scott told me!) and finally decided something needed to be done. After my first treatment with electricity running through the needles to my piriformis muscle, I immediately felt 90% less pain and the next day and boy was I ecstatic! For those of you who know what this pain feels like, it is very annoying… and I was so relieved to finally find out what was wrong and how it can be remedied in a natural fashion :)
Scott also helped me with my two strained wrists as I was heading off to Mexico for an intense stand up paddleboard and yoga retreat. I had to make sure my wrists were as healthy as they could be! Well with many recommendations such as soft movement to keep the blood flowing, tiger balm and athletic tape, my wrists are slowly but surely feeling better even after taking a week’s worth of intense SUPing in the Sea of Cortez :)
Along with acupuncture, I love talking to Scott about health, diet, how amazing our bodies are and what it knows to do and all things natural and holistic!!! He is so easy to talk to and so incredibly smart, I could talk to him for hours.
I shall return! But hopefully I can learn how to take care of my body before that needs to happen :)

I went into this acupuncture thing a bit of a skeptic and let him work on my bad knee (torn patella tendon) and pinched nerve in my neck. He treated my knee and the results have been phenomenal. More importantly, he fixed my neck with a technique called cupping. Pulled all that bad energy out of my neck area and my neck has never felt better!
Definitely going back again!

Scott and I had chatted about my neck issues, and he had me come into his workplace. After asking a few preliminary questions, he got right to it, explaining what he was doing and answered my questions as he worked my head, neck, and other locations that were bugging me. While I did several sessions with him, even after the first session alone, I felt worlds better than I had the hour previously.
Always laid back, always welcoming, Scott’s bedside demeanor helped me feel safe as he was sticking a bunch of tiny needles into my skin, sometime not everyone can do!
I tell everyone I know with an ache or pain to go see him. The results he gets are totally worth it!

I have unrelenting plantar fasciitis and have tried everything, working with Scott has allowed me to go back to my daily activities. In addition he has helped me with neck and shoulder pain. He is very professional and has information on numerous ways to heal and be healthy. I highly recommend him to anyone. In addition the office is warm, comfortable and quiet.

Scott is my magical acupuncturist! Over the past decade, I’ve had treatments with other acupuncturists but they didn’t do much for me. So, I was very skeptical going in with chronic pain, muscle tension, stiffness, fatigue, inflammation, probably some anxiety and depression, and because of all of these problems, sleep disorder (…and more problems but there are too many to list here.) After my first treatment with Scott, I got off the table and my body was lighter, as if a weight was lifted off of me. My mind was clear for the first time in years. It was like magic… no a miracle! I’ve had so much pain for so long that I didn’t realize how much pain I was in. My severe muscle tension, stiffness and pain had become the norm. I used to wake up many times during the night because it was so painful to turn over. But the night after my first treatment, I woke up in the middle of the night and realized that I didn’t have pain when I turned over, I was so excited I couldn’t go back to sleep. (I got used to «no pain» quickly, though.)
Scott always listens and adjusts the treatments accordingly. He is very knowledgeable not only with acupuncture but with other aspects of healthier living. He is kind and always willing to take his time to educate and explain. Scott is the best!

I have the utmost trust in Scott. He is both knowledgable and compassionate and his healing energy is palpable. He has cared from me for a variety of conditions including fatigue and back pain, with good results. Based on my experience with him, I have also brought my son to see him and sent my husband in as well — both received excellent care as well. Highly recommend!
