Paramount Collision

I read a lot on Unilocal,but I never registered. Paramount Collision gave me such a nice experience, so I decided to register on Unilocal in order to share my experience. My car was rear-​ended and the trunk could not get closed. So, a friend of mine suggested me to go to two body shops to have a try. The first body shop said it would cost more than $ 1000 to fix as there is a structural change. It suggested me to drive without fixing the trunk. Without much hope, I went to the second body shop, Paramount Collision, to have another check. At the beginning, I was told with a quote of $ 270 to fix the trunk. But Paramount tried to reduce the cost by using different methods. Finally, they only charged me $ 90 and the trunk is working now. As you can see, Paramount was helping me to reduce the cost rather than maximizing its revenue. So, I recommend you to have a try with Paramount if you want a good repair with a customer friendly price.

This was my first time I had ever got my car fixed. This place was recommended by AAA insurance and one of the staff I know also definitely told me this is the best place to get my car fixed. I was a bit skeptical since I had heard horror stories about how shops do half ass jobs or the paint job is all off compared to the natural color of their cars. I received my car yesterday. And I was surprised. Rick helped me. These guys definitely goes above and beyond. They cleaned up my car inside out really nice. Even clean the tires too. They even use some of the paint to cover some of my scratches on my car. I never asked them to. Jerry worked with me on my paper work at the end when I was picking up my car. These two guys are awesome. Great costumer service and great work on cars.

great guys i have high end car minor damage but when i called for service and went in Rick took care of the car and i delt with Jerry nice place room to park in lot rental car taken care of when i came to pick my car up, car was washed and work done killer .
hope i never have car work needed for long time but if i do i, m coming back to Paramount Collision

Rick did our initial estimate, and Jerry took care of us the day we brought the car in for repair. Both of them were professional, funny, and detail-​oriented. We moved the week after the repair, and knowing this Jerry moved my car through the repair process lickety-​split.
Last but not least — they were not only knowledgeable but also honest and hard-​working. In my experience, it doesn’t get much better than Paramount Collision.

Amazing experience! Jerry gave me an estimate that was very fair. The specialists worked extremely fast on the repairs on my car (only 2 days!) and were great about contacting me! I would highly recommend this service since they are not only fresh for the prices but are amazing with the overall customer experience!

I wish I could give Jerry and Rick a 10 star rating. Over 19 years, we’ve taken in quite a few cars — my daughter’s (then) teenage «oops» to my most recent vintage Alfa Romeo vandalism. Interior, exterior. My SO’s pristinely kept Ford Explorer that was stolen and trashed — brought back to extraordinary condition — they do a remarkable job. You know you are in good hands when adjusters at multiple insurances attest to the honesty, value and personal integrity of specific people at this shop If you have doubts — don’t. You are in remarkably adept, caring, ethical, skilled and committed to excellence professionals when it comes to making your car, which is more than metal, plastic and glass, whole for you. After my accident the insurance company and the rental car company were both giving me the run around, but when I called Paramount, Rick called both of them and got everyone on the same page. He even gave my choice of vehicle to the rental car company.
Totally professional and thorough, Rick gave me periodic updates on the status of the repair.
Paramount gets my highest recommendation.

Unbelievable is all I can say. I was so impressed with the service and the outcome I received from Paramount Collision. They were recommended to me by my insurance agency (AAA) and another shop was too. I got estimates from both. I was not paying the bill however I did not feel it right to gouge the insurance company and Paramount came in $ 500.00 less than their other recommendation.
I felt a great measure of confidence the moment I walked in the door. Rick was outstanding in his knowledge and expertise at what was needed to make my vehicle whole again. His suggestions were right on spot and I could not have been happier when I rolled up in the rent a car and saw my Rover was whole again.
I wish my vehicle was clean so I could leave a picture with the results.

Man, Paramount was really easy to deal with. My car had some body damage after another driver backed into it and the other insurance (State Farm) was covering it. Paramount was on their preferred vendor list, so I checked them out. Everyone in the office was very friendly and accommodating. They had the parts available sooner than they said they would and the repairs took exactly as long as they said they would. The repairs look as good as new — you can’t tell anything happened. That’s the point with insurance, right? They even gave me a ride out to SFO after I dropped off the car, since I was heading out of town later that day.
I sure hope that I never have to go to a body shop again, but if I do, I’m definitely bringing my car back here.

Final experience: Car drives like when I drove it off the lot the day I bought it. However, the repair took a total of two weeks because there was a wrong part ordered. Rick was great, fixed what I needed fixed and did it right. Appreciate the wash, vacuum, and dressing on the car after the repairs were done. Delayed it through my girlfriend’s birthday, thus the rating, but generally more my insurance’s fault. Expected the car Thursday or early Friday and got it back Friday. I would trust Rick, just make sure he doesn’t get too carried away into completely restoring your car to exactly like it was when it was driven off the dealership lot if you’re worried about money/​rates! Haha

I just brought my Honda Civic back from Paramount Collision and wanted to post a review to highlight how happy I am with the service. They are a AAA approved vendor.
From the beginning of my transaction Rick was professional and very pleasant to work with. Jerry, the owner, spent time and explained the damage, the repairs needed, and the cost in a succint and professional manner.
The job they did was fantastic. The bumper which was mutilated after someone hit me on 101 North looks brand new. The paint matches precisely. Most people will ask though «Well any body shop can do that». My reply is:
I think what seperates Paramount collision from the others is the detail oriented work and also all of the fantastic customer service they provided.
The company simply goes *ABOVE AND BEYOND* any other place I have seen. I live less than a mile away and the owner (Jerry) drove me from my house and back since I opted out of using a rental (!)
Additionally, I left a somewhat blue/​brown honda civic with bird crap all over it, and came back to a sparkling brand-​new looking polished car. They had washed it completely, vaccumed, and dusted the entire car. Yes, I realize it’s not a big deal, but these ‘little’ things really add a lot.
I just cannot express how happy I am chose to read the Unilocal reviews and go with Paramount.

I have nothing bad to say about Paramount Collision. I opened my door just as a car was passing by and the door hit the passing car. I had a nice crease going down the door. Upon a neighbors recommendation I took my car to Paramount. Dropped it off on a Monday morning and was given an estimate. I was told I’d have the car back by the following Monday (they’re closed on the Weekends). I’m a curious guy so I drove by Paramount on a Wednesday. I saw my car in the lot with a new door attached, minus the paint. Went home and gave them a call and was told it was going into paint on Thursday and I should have the car back on Friday. So Friday came and guess what, my car was ready. Rick and Jerry are awesome. After the car was fixed Rick went over and showed me everything they fixed and how they did the work. If you ever need a body shop, go to Paramount. Talk to Rick or Jerry or both. They know their stuff. If I ever do have another accident, I’m going to take my car to Paramount. I’ll also recommend them to anyone I know who needs body repair.

They are so friendly and their office is professional.
I called because I did not have any holes in the front of my car for a license plate (I am from Louisiana and you don’t have to have a license plate in the front).
I talked to Scott on the phone and he told me that they do that all of the time and he wouldn’t charge me. So, I brought my car in, he put the license plate on, and I was out within 4 minutes!
The waiting area was also really nice. If, God forbid, anything ever happens to my car (PLEASE NO!) I would bring it to them.

someone put a huge dent on the rear bumper of my G35x. filed a claim with Statefarm and Paramount Collision was one of their authorized body shops in San Mateo.
I must say… the other reviews on Unilocal are not exaggerations at all. Paramount is probably the most professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy body shop in town.
Jerry and Rick explained all the work that were gonna be done on the car. took pictures of the damage and gave me a ride back after I dropped of my car. They said I’ll have my car back in less than two days.
They did just that, plus a free car wash.
Just good, no BS service. cant ask for more.

My mechanics at On Track Automotive recommended that I use Paramount to repair some front bumper damage caused by another driver.
The people at Paramount were friendly and professional. I got a very open, straightforward vibe. When I got my car back, I couldn’t believe my eyes — my car looked like it was new. They had done an excellent job with the front bumper, and they went the extra mile to fix up scratches and dings that weren’t really related to the original repair estimate.
I would definitely go back to Paramount for any body work.

Summary: Friendly service and delivered on-​time as promised.
I had a damaged Prius which needed a new front bumper, hood, front-​right side panel, and some interior elements from a collision with a taller vehicle. I came across Paramount Collision through the list of approved repair shops given to me by my insurance carrier, State Farm.
My Prius was dropped off on a Tuesday for an estimate which I approved on the same day. By Thursday of the next week, I got my car back, looking like the accident never happened. The car was only in the shop for 10 days.
The garage was clean and the floor clear. Their technicians were very friendly. The office is comfortable and Jerry took the time to explain every item that was repaired or replaced.
The paint blending was superb and the color matching was flawless. There was a small imperfection on the brand new bumper sent from Toyota– these things are made of plastic and it looked like a small edge-​bubble that was malformed during the manufacturing process. I called Jerry’s attention to this detail and he immediately had the car moved into the garage to try and fix it.
After some sanding and touch-​up, the defect was not truly fixable but they gave it their best effort. Jerry offered, right up front, that he is willing to take off the bumper and repaint the whole thing, or if that doesn’t work, order another bumper from Toyota until I was satisfied. This imperfection is small– maybe 0.75 inches long along the edge of the bumper where it meets the metal side panel. Most ordinary onlookers would not notice it. So I decided to just let it slide for now.
Jerry still insisted that I could bring it back should I change my mind and they’ll take care of it. Needless to say, I was and continue to be very satisfied with the job Paramount Collision did for me and my car. I would highly recommend this body shop if you’re looking for a non-​nonsense experience with great customer service.

Did what others couldn’t — located and fixed the funny noise coming from the front of the car. It took a while, but now I can finally enjoy a silent ride!

Ok I know it’s a body shop. But I have a young male driver in the house and we have been there 3 times, These guys can do anything, they bent back the frame on our GMC Yukon that the tree jumped out in front of and they also repaired the side of my son’s Ford Ranger that brushed up against a steel pole that «popped up out of nowhere, I swear» They are nice, friendly, personable and hey the price is always right.
Note to parents of young drivers: do not teach your kids to ‘drift’ until they are much older.
