If I could give O star for this establishment, I would. VERY DISHONEST WORKER.
I took my Mom here because the lady that mans the clinic said that they accept medicare. I paid $ 50 upfront for copay and all the eye measurements were done. I was told that it will be ready for several weeks and since my mom cant afford to pay for her glasses, we said okay.
After a week, I got a call from this place saying that Health Plan Of San Mateo denied to cover expenses for the glasses even if my mom just had cataract surgery. The lady in the clinic stated that eye glasses are no longer covered since JUNE… I was like WTF. What a waste of time… They could have been honest enough to tell us this on our consult. I dont have the courage to tell my 80 year old mother that she has to wait longer to get new glasses. She loves to read, shes a retired teacher and hasnt read since after cataract surgery because her prescription changed.
DONT COME TO THIS CLINIC, VERY DISHONEST AND INEFFICIENT
