Hourglass Boutique began as a home-​based online boutique in early 2010. In November 2013, we expanded and opened a storefront boutique in downtown San Mateo. We carry a unique selection of modern contemporary & vintage-​inspired clothing, jewelry and accessories for women.

I’ve been here many times and is now my go to place when I need something cute to wear! The prices are totally reasonable and the clothes are adorable. There are also plenty of accessories on hand to pair with your new outfit! There is also a website and you can sign up for email updates when new clothes come in! All in all a lovely boutique to shop at and a wonderful addition to the downtown area!

I just bought a super cute dress from the new spring line. It was special ordered and even though I asked Lindsay to order me a medium, she also ordered the dress in small because this line ran a bit larger. I ended up purchasing the small. That was very thoughtful. I was also pleased to get a discount since the order was a bit delayed.

Very cute women’s boutique! The items were moderately priced, this establishment is probably on par to an Ambiance store. They also carry accessories ie. gloves, bags, makeup, soaps, jewelry etc. It appears they just opened and are in the process of expanding and getting more merchandise. The lady was fairly friendly too. So glad a cute boutique opened in this area; DTSM definitely needs it!
