I highly recommend them. They were responsive, professional, competent and cost effective. They got me out of real pickle from a previous provider who messed up my furnace. I would highly recommend them.

Face it, there’s not one person who doesn’t enjoy great customer service when they’re in a bind.
My furnace stopped pumping out hot air. Fortunately, I still had records from the original install back in 2004 with Advanced Solutions and this was the unit’s first ever issue.
I gave them a call and within 3 hours from my original call, the furnace was up and running. A replacement of the igniter did the trick. Yes, there was a charge of $ 110, plus the part. But, this included Bruce’s effort to fit me into a busy schedule, check the unit out, run off and get the right part and replace it.
If you’re looking for great customer service from an expert without the rigamarole, then you should give Advanced Solutions a call.

I was referred to Bruce by someone else in the industry that does installations but does not do repairs. The heating system in my home was shutting down when it should not have been.
I watched as Bruce did a methodical analysis of the furnace’s operation. He was able to isolate a small burned area in the starting mechanism and ended up just replacing the electronic starter and isolating it from the flame. He made additional modifications to make the furnace run quieter.
After talking with him about allergies my wife and I were experiencing, Bruce suggested i research an air cleaner that could be hooked up to the furnace and run 24⁄7. I asked him to provide a quote and decided without prompting from him to upgrade the filtering unit. I also replaced the motor with an energy efficient one that is extremely quiet in its operaton which addressed my concern regarding noise and cost of running a fan all day and night.
The installation was done promptly and neatly and pricing was not cheap but reasonable.
I think you can rely on Bruce to be conscious and professional in his work.

My furnace has been acting up and needed a repair. After looking thru many Unilocal reviews, a couple of them would only do new installs. Calvey was highly ranked but they only did new installs as well. He recommended Advance Solutions, but I was hesitant based on just two reviews. So I called and left many messages with about 4 other companies. Only two called me back a day later! Mary called me back the same day I called and I booked them as my wife does not like living in an icebox. They came earlier than I thought, but luckily my mother-​in-​law was home watching my kid. She said Bruce was pleasant and was able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly. Very reasonable $ 100 minimum for labor as others quoted $ 140 to $ 180 per hour. Wish I was able to meet Bruce, but he did a great job and we have a nice warm house again. Hopefully I won’t need Bruce’s services again, but I would call them again if the need arises.

Bruce has been doing our HVAC work for several years. Ours is a complicated system (with issues) and he has solved every one. He is also very honest and hard-​working. I would completely ignore the comment about the work not being explained. The work is explained very clearly along with all costs and even on major work he comes in exactly as promised on time and cost. I have used several HVAC repair services and Bruce is the best. I would not call anyone else. I recommend him and Advanced Solution very highly.

I guess they must have learned from the previous customer’s feedback, because all work and fees were explained to me in advance. I was very pleased with the communication and information from the office, and with Bruce’s work. I will definitely call them again for HVAC work.

Our furnace/​heater has not been working, and we were charged $ 110 for ~30 minutes of work and a new fuse ($ 100 for his labor + $ 10 for the part) vs. $ 6.99 at OSH.
Mary in the office explained that it would cost $ 100 minimum for Bruce to come out and inspect the furnace, and that $ 100 would be applied towards any work that may need to be done. She did not specify that the $ 100 is only for labor and that I could/​would be charged for parts separately.
After expressing my frustration, Bruce told me that the job took him about an hour between drive time, inspection, talking to my father in-​law because he spoke poor English, calling me, and then waiting for his check. It takes 10 minutes or less to get to our house from Burlingame, and my wife said he was there for 30 min tops. He also explained that the fuse cost him ~$ 5, but he he needs to make money on parts.
I even called Mary back and expressed the frustration and that she needs to be clearer in her explanation on their billing/​pricing. She was apologetic but unwilling to offer any sort of concession or discount.
Mary later called me back & offered to refund us the $ 10 for the parts, which was a nice consolation albeit a little late.
