These guys are absolutely wonderful! From the point of initial call, to the apt. follow up, to showing up, to getting the job done… Everything was beyond my satisfaction! Rob is a man of perfection. Not only did he explain everything in detail every step of the way, he was such a pleasure to work with. RRR has not only gained my trust, but they’ve earned a lifelong customer. Thank you guys.

I highly recommend Roy and RRR Heating and Air. I called the morning of detecting an issue with our heater, and Roy came that afternoon. He diagnosed this issue, a blown part, replaced it at cost and charged his minimum hourly rate. He also inspected every component of the gas feed, electrical feed, unit, and ducting. I knew our ducting needed to be replaced eventually and he quoted a great price. We’ll be working with him this summer to complete the project.

Roy came out the next day following my call to complete some pieces of the furnace installation that the original home builder had failed to complete 10 years prior. He was on time, polite, and completed the work under budget. Thanks again, Roy!

Excellent service! Called at 9:00 am and half hour later Roy was in my house, 2 seconds later he discover that my capacitor was no working, he fixed and now I have my AC perfectly, today the news said will be 97 Fahrenheit! Thank you for helping me so fast, happy, good job and highly recommend them!

I called these folks to come and check my wall heater out. They asked me what time would I want them here. I said how about 8am. They called at 8:40 and said they’d be about another 20 to 30 minutes. I already had an appointment at 9 so I asked them to come on Friday. They said ok, but, never showed. I was busy all morning, so, I thought I’d give them another go and they said they’d call me back if they could come. No call and no show! So much for the ‘free’ assessment to my heater problem and so much for RRR.: (

Jay and Roy were on time and worked for two full days to complete an install of a new forced air furnace in my attic. They found transient voltage on the feeds to the heater and unlike most; they brought it to my attention and offered to run a new electrical feed. This was well worth the expense because it mitigated a fire risk. They were clean cut, professional and good with my dogs. Quality of workmanship is excellent. Permits were included in the bid. RRR’s pricing was what I would call competitive and an excellent value for the work that was performed.
Although based in San Jose they came to Aptos to do the work. Accurate rating is 4.5: no one is perfect.

RRR Heating & Air Conditioning is a fantastic company. They put in a Bryant furnace and we are extremely pleased with it. They are honest, fair, and trustworthy in their recommendations. Both Roy and Jay are so knowledgeable that is is a pleasure to deal with them. We received a PG&E rebate of $ 250 which Jay filled out for us.

My furnace stopped working so I Unilocal’d and found RRR. Contacted Jay, he arrived at my house on time, took a look and determined the problem was the gas solenoid that needed to be ordered. The part arrived a day later. Jay arrived on time the next morning, installed and tested the part. I appreciated his attention to being on time and avoiding walking on the carpets. Very pleasant, prompt and efficient! Thank Jay and RRR.

I am in the middle of a monster remodel (resuscitation?) project of my 90-​year old house, and in October I was finally ready to install central heating. I should note that I am very particular about the way things get installed and trying to do most work by myself. This is probably why I have scared away three different installers over the course of two months. By December I almost gave up looking for installation companies and was quite desperate, not to mention that my house was freezing cold.
This is when I have got a recommendation for the RRR from one of my neighbors. My first meeting with Roy and Shannon was right before Christmas and lasted only 30 min. They understood my requirements almost instantly. In no time they have jotted down all my do-​s and do-not’s, recommended a few modifications to my plan, and gave a cost estimate. They have ended up working through the week between the Christmas and the New Year, when I was out of state. When I was back, my central heating was ready to go!
These guys are a rare blend of enthusiastic and reliable, and I would recommend their services to anyone.

I purchased an early 80’s home in the foothills of Morgan Hill. Along with the antiquated look, the house had major heating/​central air problems (lack of).
I searched high and low for a reputable HVAC company and stumbled upon RRR. I met with Roy and Rob, who surveyed my house for free, no strings attached.
Rob told me the heater was made in 1975 and operated at under 2%. Basically, I wasted 98% of all the gas I used in attempt to heat up my old house.
Winter of 2010 set in and my heater finally died. My son was born and we needed a heater ASAP!!! A day later, Rob and Roy returned with a high-​efficiency furnace. They had a furnace, which would also accommodate the expansion of my home an additional 600 sq ft.
They installed the furnace and digital thermometer without delay. They explained the benefits of the high-​efficiency model and told me to call them if I ever had a problem. I haven’t had a problem since.
Summer rolled around and the Indian summer of Morgan Hill was unforgiving. Living in the hills, the sun made my house into a greenhouse.
I called Rob and Roy to help me find an affordable and energy-​efficient unit. 1-​hour later, Roy called me and told me had a unit which would work well in my house and BELOW my budget.
We agreed on some contractual issues and the NEXT day, my AC unit was installed. I’m not kidding you!!! It took less than 24-​hours to have both my furnace and AC unit installed.
Best part, the quotes were 50% below what other companies quoted me, without a delay. My quote didn’t even include the energy rebates offered by PGE.
I had 1-​problem since the installation of the AC unit. I tripped over the water run off valve and the system shut down. Roy arrived at my house in 2-​hours and fixed the valve for me… and yes, it was my fault!!!
I would gladly recommend RRR to anyone looking for great products and unbeatable service!

My air conditioning and heat were not working too well probably because it was 20+ years old. My condo is on a second level, so it gets really hot and really cold. I called RRR for an assessment of my whole system. The person I spoke with (Roy) was helpful and really did a great job of understanding and listening to what the problems were that I told him. He setup an appointment to come on out and take a look. He was punctual and very informative. He looked at my furnace and outside unit and figured out a couple different issues. He didn’t jump to the most costly thing like most contractors would and squeeze me for a lot of money. He went through a couple different scenarios and when those didn’t work he then mentioned based on the age of my place it might be time to do an overhaul. He gave me a quote to replace everything like new. Like any smart shopper I thanked him for the quote and his time and called around to other HVAC companies and explained what I needed. When the other quotes came in significantly higher than RRR, I called Roy back to schedule the install. He accompanied his team the morning of the install and said it would be a full day of work. It was a full day and in the end my heat and AC are working better than I ever thought. On top of that I ended up getting a $ 500 rebate as well.
Would definitely recommend RRR for A+ service.

Our wall heater finally gave out after 20+ years right after the weather turned COLD here in Santa Clara. Found RRR as they had taken over the previous company that installed the wall heater. The person on the phone was very congenial and understood the need to get one installed quickly! First though he suggested that one of there highly qualified personnel come out and check the old one out first to make sure. This was all done with NO CHARGE to us.
After the serviceman came out and checked out the wall heater it was definitely determined to be out. I immediately called RRR up and again everything was quickly set up for the new wall heater to be set up the next day.
Overall the installation was a breeze and the personnel were courtious. The cost of the heater was very much in line with others and one other thing. Upon installation the person asked about the installation of the thermostat. After installing it and the folks left my wife and I decided that we liked the old one better. I emailed RRR and told them everything was done great (yes we now have heat!) and also that I wish I would have told the service folks to leave the original. Needless to say within one half hour the service folks were back and reinstalled our old thermostat!!! They really didnt have to but glad they did come by!! Great job RRR… Service and Courtesy are a big and rare thing nowadays!
