The ladies here are super sweet and supportive. I have been going to Medifast for the last month and have been very successful on the program. I would highly recommend. I did not have a ton to lose but enough that I couldn’t do it alone. The program has helped me gain self control and I’ve been cooking at home again! Something that became very difficult after 3 kids (all under 5). If your thinking the cost is high, well it’s actually not much when you break it down to per counseling session for the next year! Who doesn’t need a good pep talk and boost to keep on plan.

I love my counselor Sam. She is always encouraging no matter what the circumstances. All the other counselors and staff are great too. The food is good too. Having the lean and green meal to work with allows you to eat real food too making the program very doable.

This is an amazing diet. I have tried a lot trust me. Its easy to follow, and I’m never hungry. I love being able to cook dinner still, the lean and green plan is awesome for me. All the things I’ve learned from the staff at Medi-​fast have re-​taught me how to eat differently. In turn my husband says he’s on the wife diet, he’s lost 30 lbs just from me eating differently @ dinner.
All the staff is super supportive, and very motivating as well. Thanks ladies @ San Marcos Medi-​fast, i couldn’t do it without your help.

Medifast San Marcos is hands down awesome. The counselors are great especially my personal counselor Kate is freaking awesome! Also, this program really does work if you put your mind and soul to it. Trust me, it is not easy but it really is worth it. I’ve tried other ways of weight loss and this has been the most successful. It is also reasonably priced. Remember, this is an investment but is so worth it.

Love my counselor Kate. She makes me accountable even when I don’t want to be. If you have been struggling with weight issues this is hands down the place for you. Most of the hard work is done for you just eat the food. For me that always presses as the problem, but the staff always helps keep me in check. The center is beautiful as well. Love the location and all the staff.

I have lost 42 lbs. since October (I know ridiculous timing!) BUT, I made it through ALL the holidays (consistently losing weight every single week) with the AMAZING support of the entire team at the San Marcos center especially my counselor Sam! All of the staff are professional, receptive, and knowledgeable, they make you feel at ease from the moment you walk in the door. I have 26 more pounds to lose and look forward every week to step on the scale because this program works.

I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. I turned 30 last year and decided enough was enough. I heard about Medifast and decided to give it a try. Why not? I had tried everything else! Nothing to loose but some weight! Now 9 mos later I have lost over 50lbs and still loosing. I am thankful for the ladies that help me week in and week out.

I’ve tried every diet out there, and nothing has worked for me like Medifast. I know I need the accountability, which is why I joined the center. Doing it on my own would be yet another failed attempt at restoring my health (and waistline), and a further waste of money. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for! Calling Medifast in San Marcos that first day was the best decision I’ve ever made. My counselor (Sam) is amazing! She’s supportive, compassionate, and most importantly knowledgeable. I’ve lost 40 lbs. and have been maintaining for almost a year. Everyone there is so friendly and supportive. I LOVE Medifast San Marcos!

If you need your surfboard to hit the lip harder, cut back better & float better. This program is for you! I have had awesome weight loss with this program. Meghan’s team is great always supportive. Sam my counselor is awesome with nutrition tips to. Wahoo only way I have ever lost weight and it has been tuff all my life. «Yes just try It…» Let’s Go!!!

II have been with Medifast for 6 months and with the help of my counselor, Paget– I have met my weight goals and most importantly have developed more healthy eating behaviors. She really helped me understand how to order healthier options when eating out. Encouraged me to include exercise to make sure I maintain a healthy muscle mass. The combination of the food with my coach/​counslor really makes the difference to getting you to a healthier lifestyle.

A special shout out to my counselor And all the others who are so encouraging. I read all the negative reviews and they only address the fact that they can’t buy their food from them. Listen up people… This is a business and you cannot expect freebies!!! If you are doing the online program… you must pay shipping for your meals!!! At the clinics you are getting mucho personal attention and many other perks that people are paying for! I pay for personal attention and it is well worth it! I have finally been successful and I am so happy to have success!!!

Have been with this Medifast Office for almost a year. Had the same counselor every time. Very friendly and personable, but never offered any help on losing and gaining weight. No encouragement, just «I know you can do it», but no other coaching for those weigh ins where I gained a few pounds back. I was also, very disappointed when my counselor became an Assistant Manager and never told me. I walked in for my appointment and was told she wasn’t there that someone else would help me because she is an Assistant Manager now. Thought we had established a personal relationship. I also wanted to finish out my year with her since her and I had been through so much already. Reading the other posts and I agree, once they have your money and you buy your food there every week, they don’t care.

Hmmm where did my previous review go?
This place is just a hard sell… when you could do it online. I wanted the personal touch and to actually speak with someone. I guess I wanted someone to keep me accountable.
When I went with the gal to a private office. There were really no questions about me or my goals. It was pretty immediate about Money… and how much it would cost me to lose my goal weight. (Let’s just say… I couldn’t afford it… that’s for sure!)

I live in the L.A. area but I was travelling in San Marcos and was running low on food. I figured I could stop by here and pick up one box of meal bars to ensure I had enough until I got back home. We don’t have these centers where I live so I’ve been doing medifast on my own with a health coach (and have had very good success)
As it turns out they refuse to sell you any food unless you are one of their clients. Even I as a traveler «in need» was turned away.
The lady behind the counter was cordial enough but the «tough ****» message came through loud and clear.
It’s apparent to me that the operators of this facility (the lady behind the counter told me all the Medifast centers in San Diego have the same owner) don’t really care about helping people who are trying to lose weight or they would not put in place a policy like this.
