I used to love this place! Best breakfast burrito but then something happened. Got new management? Who knows but it’s been getting worse and worse. The girl working there this morning took our order at 7:06am in the DRIVE THRU and we waited and waited finally at 7:34 we said screw it. We went inside and they didn’t even have our order started?! How!?? The girl looked at my husband with a blank stare and said so you want your money back? We got our money back and left. Never ever going back. Late for work and no breakfast. Thanks George!

Georges is the spot for a nice lunch during break from Palomar. I normally order the chicken strip basket which is always delicious. I would recommend Georges if you are trying to decide where to eat in San Marcos.

Good portions for the price and fresh ingredients. I adore the Greek and grilled chicken salads. Breakfast burrito is not at all greasy. Tip is that you must pay 50 cents for extra dressing and they 95 percent of the time forget to give it to you. Don’t throw away the receipt as they make you show it to them for proof. Kind of annoying but food is worth it including the burgers and steak fries. Everything comes out hot too.

This place is an all time favorite if you are tired of the same ol food in the Palomar College area. Palomar has a nice small little cafeteria area, but every once in awhile it’s nice to dive off campus and get yo’self a nice delicious meal.
Burgers is what they mainly serve here since it’s in the name, but they do offer more. Salads, shakes and smoothies also round out their menu for a delicious lunch time snack or an evening dinner. While they are more well known for their burgers, I personally love their fish and chips! Such a big piece of fish that you get when you order this dish… and it’s not just one, but two! It’s seriously like you are ordering a whole entire fish, minus the head and all that other jazz.
Their fruit smoothies are delicious too. I tried a bit of my friends smoothie that she ordered and man it was like an actual fruit in your mouth. Delicious, juicy and tasty!!!

This place is a total rip off of the burger joint Angleos
I mean so much I had to ask if they were a parent company.
The fries were so limp and soggy and the burger was flavorless.
Waste of my money.
Plus they charged me .50 for BBQ sauce which I didn’t have change so they charged my card.
Wtf?!! Wow they really want that money

I have been going to George’s burger since I was a kid. The food is good. The drive through can be faster but they do make everything to order so I can see why it takes longer. My favorite thing to order from there is their bacon avocado burger. Its ah-​mazing!!! Today I decided to try out their chili cheese fries. I’m going to have to give –1 star I think that the chili that they put on there has good flavor but its wayyyyyyyyy too greasy. If I had a spoon I could scoop up the grease. I mean you can tilt the container and it all pools to a corner.

This standalone burger joint is quite a find! Fresh burger with cheese, a huge helping of crispy fries and a soft drink cost $ 8.80 with tax. I wanted some lemon or lime in my drink and there were only whole limes, I was promptly presented with a freshly-​sliced lime. I had asked for my burger to be cut in half. The server said she’d heard me ask that it be halved, but the kitchen did not do so, and she took the initiative (unbidden) to bring the knife! When I requested hot sauce, she offered two prepared varieties — and their own in-​house version (which was excellent). They have a drive-​through and table service — which was very fast and efficient. You really should try a burger from George!

I go to Palomar and this is always the go to spot when we need a quick bite on our one hour break. The chicken tenders and avocado burgers are delicious.
I’ve also left my wallet here and they kept it safe and sound until I was able to retrieve it a couple days later. The girls who work here are very kind!
Ultimately, this place deserves way more stars than it has.

I just sat in line for a solid fifteen minutes! There were only three cars!!!
I ordered the three piece chicken salad. I was expecting three pretty decent pieces of chicken since its $ 7.50 for a salad! NOPE I received the three smallest pieces of chicken. They couldn’t even make a toddler full. When I opened my salad box I laughed for a minute, and asked my self IS THIS A JOKE?!
Don’t bother stopping by this place. Just keep driving! You’re not going to be full after or enjoy the prices for the portions either!

Food: I ordered onion rings and a half pound cheeseburger. The burger was okay but comparing to the best burgers I have ever had in this area, this place is just okay. Not bad but nothing great. The onion rings were a cajun coated and not very flavorful. Wasn’t too impressed by them.
Service: Service was okay, the people were friendly, but it took about 10 minutes for us to get our food, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. All in all it was a bad experience but it didn’t give me a «wow» factor.
Ambiance: This is a perfect burger joint. Plenty of seating, everything was very clean, the only thing I noticed was there could be limited parking during peak hours.

Me and my boyfriend came here to try it out. We ordered a number 1 which is a burger and fries meal and a gyros plate with onion rings meal. It came out to 17.57, so it was a bit pricey, however it was A LOT of food. The gyros plate was amazingly delicious, the hamburger was ok it didnt seem like a big enough patty, but it was really fresh. The onion rings were amazing! I would definetly come back but get one plate to share! The french fries were pretty good, but not very salty.

In the mood for a burger — this is the place. They are made fresh for you and taste great. The fries and other sides are on par too. Consider the drive-​thru but expect a wait — I recommend going in to order and just relax for a few minutes. Too good to rush :)
