Never disappoints! It’s a good switch from in & out, because sometimes you just need bacon and more in your burger. I like the little bacon cheeseburger with fries! Always hits the spot

I’ve tried this place a couple more times, hoping I missed something. Never again. Took my son yesterday — $ 25 for 2 burgers, 2 cokes, 1 fry… And we both left hungry. Burgers are just average… Certainly worse than in n out. Definitely not worth the price.

My experience here wasn’t the greatest. First of all I paid 16 bucks for a bacon cheeseburger regular fries and drink?! That’s restaurant prices?! And I waited almost 15 minutes for my food when literally 3 other customers were there so they were not busy at all. The only reason my review is 3 stars is because the food was good!

I heard this place was delicious so I went in to try it out with my boyfriend and it was not that great ! The people working were nice, but it is way to overpriced for the little bacon cheeseburger I ordered. And it didn’t taste that good like I thought it would. It tasted like a jr. Bacon cheeseburger from Wendy’s.

Went to the one in San Marcos. We loved Five Guys in Kearney Mesa but here, not as good. I wonder. Long wait, yes. $$? Yes. But we were surprised about this lack of consistency in taste. Wonder why.

Gave Five Guys a second chance… NEVERAGAIN! $ 15.42 for a burger and fries just slightly better than Carl’s Jr! I did get the rude inattentive guy at the counter for FREE though so I guess that’s a plus?

Service is always fast. Food is always great. They keep a simple menu but it’s a great taste. Little pricy but still good.

Too expensive and too slow for a burger and fries — $ 12. I’ll stick with In-N-Out. I wasn’t all that impressed with the lengthy wait. I think I waited for like 20minutes and there only a few people in the restaurant. It’s fast food so I don’t know why expected anything better. Maybe I got my hopes up while I was in restroom reading the burger propaganda above the urinals. Damn it! I fall to easily, I’m such a sucker haha.

Friendly staff but there is nothing special about their overpriced burgers. Nothing. Ive made better burgers on my grill. Go to in and out.

If based on food quality and taste alone I’d give their burgers and fries a 4. Nice choice of toppings and condiments like A1 or BBQ sauce. Fries are pretty good but not the best I’ve had. Peanuts are also a nice touch. Figuring in value, no not only price but what that price gets you, drops them to a 2. The regular burger, which is a double burger(I’m guessing total of ½ pound) with bacon and cheese is $ 8.19. That’s for a BURGER! Small fries about $ 2.20 and small drink $ 2.29. So, including tax thats $ 13.75 for a burger lunch that comes in a brown paper bag, which brings me to my other problem with this place. Every order, including«dine» in comes in a paper bag, which you carry to your table then empty then throw away in a few minutes. What a waste!

I can’t believe the prices! $ 16 for a burger, fries and a drink? Come on! And the food isn’t even that great. It tastes like a burger. Wow!

Very long wait and it wasn’t crowded. Burger was ok but I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve ever had… and expensive I got the little burger with small fries and regular drink and it was over 12 bucks. High for a burger that wasn’t that great. Habit Burger is much better taste speed of service and price. I got the Cajun spiced fries they were inedible gross. Go to In and Out or Habit… Pass on Five Guys

I really enjoyed this huge meal! You get a lot of food and I love you can add whatever you want on your burger. Yum!

As long as you avoid the lunchtime rush which seems like it takes 30 minutes to get your order. But burgers are always filling. I always get grilled mushrooms and onions with my burgers. And free peanuts!

5÷17÷15 First and last visit. To start with they got order wrong and did not offer to do anything about it. Burgers are no better than McDonald’s just camouflaged in sauce that soaks into bun thus bad burger in soggy bun. Fries were acceptable. Food and service extremely overpriced. Will not recommend or visit again.

This is a the worst dining experience I have ever had. We went in to grab a burger and the manager was screaming profanity at a guy inside the store. I couldn’t believe this person is employed. The man who was getting screamed at was polite and said have a good day and manager continued to yell profanity at him. I wish I would’ve youtub’ed it. It was horrible. Their were little children in the restaurant and I saw one lady leave her food and take her daughter outside.

Stopped by for lunch. I am a vegetarian and most burger places offer some sort of veggie burger, but not Five Guys. I ordered a veggie sandwich with cheese which consisted of grilled mushrooms, peppers, onions with lettuce and tomato on a bun with American cheese. It left something to be desired. Fries were okay.

I don’t know why I can never eat here without making a mess. Whether it be with the peanuts, or my burger falling apart. This is a great tasting burger, but sloppily put together. Then one thing about Five Guys is that their burgers are so heavy. I’m sure a cheese burger, fries, and a drink is pushing like 2000 calories… but you can definitely tell you’re eating a ton of calories. I’m sure the owner of Five Guys wasn’t trying to target the fit healthy eater, but more the all American type that loves a greasy burger, fries, and milkshake. With that said, this place offers a great tasting burger, but it’s kind of expensive. It’s about double the price of In N Out, and way heavier. I would probably suggest a quick visit to In N Out over Five Guys, better bang for your buck and better burger and fries. Five Guys has bacon though lol, which is a plus I guess.

Peanuts everywhere, on the floor, on your table, in my hair, on my pants, just so dirty. I usually go to five guys for their Cajun fries and this place unfortunately just didn’t do it for me. I think they served me fries flavored Cajun salt. The workers here are very friendly, so I guess they have that going for them.
