This is a nice cozy small thai restaurant. Service is very good– owner & waitress both r very nice. But as far as food is concerned I tried here few veg. dishes but so far I only liked red curry fried rice which was recommended by one of my friend. It’s really good and now I go there to eat only red curry fried rice.

The food here is delicious! However, the customer service is terrible. I came with my family and we waited about half an hour to have our order taken. Then, after placing our order we watched as families around us arrived and were served. We received our food about 45 minutes after ordering.

I am a Thai food lover and this place really hits the spot. I love coming for lunch. The portion sizes are decent. I think they’re pretty generous with the amount of pad Thai and rice they give you. Nearly everything on their menu is «spicy» but it’s not at all extremely spicy. You can have the option of mild if you want to. The place is usually crowded during lunch rush hour. However, they always get me in somehow within 5 – 15 minutes. I love the service. The waiters are so polite and I have never experience any trouble with them. They always come by to refill your drinks and they don’t make you feel like you’re left out. Definitely will come back again many times in the future!

I was in SLO visiting my daughter when we experienced Thai-rrific. The restaurant is very clean and the food was wonderful! We had the green curry, mixed vegetables and pad thai, everything was delicious. I will be back on my next trip.

The food is tasty but disappointed with the portion sizes for carry-out! Paid $ 87 for 5 entrees &2 appetizers &3 of the entrees were only half full! Not worth the price for the amount of food — rip off! Will eat there next time because the food is good. I’ve never complained about portions from any other restaurant, usually there’s left overs – not here!

I’m from LA/OC area with numerous Asian restaurants. Too many to choose from, but I had ones that I would frequent. This area sadly is slim on really good ones as far as I can tell. I don’t eat Thai food often(my choice is Vietnamese food), but against my better judgement I decided to try this place. The décor was interesting in a good way — all wood walls. The waitress was nice and helpful until the food came. She didn’t come back to see how we were doing, no drink refills and we had to chase her down for the check. As for the food — less than stellar. I got the Ba-Mee Hang. I took 3 bites in an attempt to give it 3 chances, but I couldn’t eat it. The noodles were mush and it lacked flavor. I’m used to meat being seasoned and cooked, but the ground chicken is cooked with no seasoning and then placed into the noodles. I guess they expected the garlic flavor to blend with the chicken, but nope, it didn’t. Honestly, it takes a lot for me to not eat food, but my taste buds weren’t having any of this. None. On a good note, the Fried Spring Rolls were good. The dipping sauce was watery though. I’m not used to runny chili sweet sauce or whatever it was. It had flavor, but way too watery. I wouldn’t recommend this place and It won’t be on my list to return. Sorry… I like to pay for food that I enjoy.

Like their Tom Yum soup with chicken! A little bit too salty but that tastes like authentic Thai haha

I had lunch at Thai-riffic at least 3 times a week for 13 years, and I am not the only one. I see the same people there all the time. They have the best Bah Mee Nahm, Bah Mee Hang and Bah Mee Shumai I have had anywhere, Great lunch specials for a reasonable price. Dinner is more expensive but still reasonable. Try the lemon grass chicken(to die for), pahd thai(cold glass noodle salad) and tom yon goong(hot spicy soup). Best Thai restaurant in town if you know what to order.

Thai food is my favorite out of all types of Asian Cuisine. I am revising my review. My wife and I had a great lunch today and the food was excellent.

Sriacha chicken… soooo good! Had a few other dishes that were delicious as well soupy noodles and glass noodle soup. Pad thai was ok not the best I’ve ever had. Prices are good and all the staff is really nice.

It was decent. I may need to try more stuff to give a better review. It’s not as good as Noi’s or Thai Bounty. The service is so-so.

We have never been disappointed. They are always kind and the food is really yummy. We always get a noodle dish with a «main» dish. I am vegan. I told them that one time and they have since remembered. We can order a dish that usually has egg and it comes without. I guess that it’s not only the food that draws me to this restaurant, the service is excellent as well. The location is sometimes tricky to get into if there’s lots if traffic, but it’s a fun little place covered in vines.

I absolutely love their Pad Thai! I’ve probably ordered from every single Thai place for this dish and this has to be my favorite one. Careful on how spicy you request, they aren’t messing around ha! Had left overs when I ordered take out which is always great! Happy with their soups too. Lots of parking and easy to find. Very authentic.

I ordered the Pahd Kee-Mow and there was only one piece of a diced tomato. It said on the menu there was to be tomatoes in it. The menu also claimed it to be a spicy dish and it was not spicy at all. Over all it was a bland dish and left me unsatisfied and still hungry. I won’t be going back. My friend, however, got the Tom Kha Gai soup and she loved it! So maybe the Pahd Kee-Mow is not their best dish, but if you are going to do it, do it right or take it off the menu. Don’t waste my time and money.

I tried a couple of their noodle soups(curry and tom yum) and my overall impression is: lack of flavor, lack of thai ingredients(no lime, no kefir leaves, no galanga, no lemon grass), overcooked noodles, and they use cream in their broth, which makes it overly rich in a fatty kind of way. I understand they have a great BBQ chicken dish, so if you go here, get that and stay away from their soups and noodle dishes.

I love this place! I go here about once a week and get the Coconut BBQ Chicken, cooked to perfection! The prices are cheaper than almost all of the other Thai places in San Luis Obispo. The Korean short ribs is another must try if you go here, I recommend going family style for dinner and pick a few dishes and share. The Goong Todd appetizers is one of my favorite also to get, deep fried shrimp wrapped in won ton, so bad yet so good!

Pad Thai is amazing! When you get it with chicken, it also so comes with shrimp! It is about $ 9.50, and I usually have enough to bring leftovers home(sometimes I can eat it all if I am super hungry). Also, if you say spicy, it comes very spicy! Overall, great flavor and great texture. This is my go-to thai restaurant in SLO. The Thai Iced Tea is very good too! It comes in a larger glass than you get at Thai Boat.

Curry Chicken lunch special — Meh… me thinks not. Chicken was dry. Fried rice was pathetic. Booths had torn vinyl on both sides. This place has lived it’s life and should be closed down. Sorry nice waiter who was TOO asian and busting out his shirt.
