Moon Appliance Repair

Mr. Moon just left my house, and I decided to share my positive experience with other Unilocalers so that you consider giving Moon Appliance a call next time you have a problem. My old Kenmore gas stove wasn’t preheating like it used to, and it was occasionally making a loud explosion noise when the oven ignited. Worried that it wasn’t safe and needing to bake a batch of cookies for an upcoming student performance, I called Moon Appliance, and Mrs. Moon answered, as friendly and helpful as could be. She even offered to try to help solve my problem over the phone.
When she found out that my stove had a more serious illness and would need a house call, she was able to fit me in just a few days later. Mr Moon arrived promptly, disassembled a few parts, looked at the oven, and then said he knew exactly what I needed: a new igniter. When I asked how he was able to diagnose the problem, he patiently explained what he saw and was happy to do so. He then gave me an estimate for the work and said that he had the part in his truck and could fix it immediately.
Forty-​five minutes later, Mr. Moon drove off, and now my gas oven is working, just in time to back some cookies for the band.

Bob runs a top-​notch business and he’s the only appliance repairman I will ever use! We ALWAYS get a prompt response, excellent service at a great price. We’ve used him for about 15 years now and he has not only serviced our appliances but given us excellent advice when we were shopping for new appliances. And I agree with Suzy, Bob ALWAYS has a smile and is just a kind soul who I wish we could see more often!

Bob just performed another miracle on my beloved vintage Gaffer’s and Sattler oven. Can always count on him for great service, a big smile, good attitude and fair prices. It’s almost a shame that we don’t get to see him more often. Ha-​ha.
