History
Established in 2009.
HoneyBee Cakery oficially opened in July of 2009. However, the dream began much earlier. Owner and chief designer Lizabeth Nagel has dreamt of making decorative baked goodies since she was a little girl.
HoneyBee Cakery started to take shape after watching the popular TV show Ace of Cakes. Immediately, Lizabeth was drawn into the world of creative cakes. She started by making the occasional cake for friends. Though self-taught, Lizabeth quickly became a popular cake maker and word began to spread. That’s when her dream of having a shop of her own really began to emerge. Lizabeth has always been very artistic and creative and this translated well to her chosen medium of cake. Her cakes are true edible works of art. If you can dream it, HoneyBee Cakery can make it edible!
Lizabeth was born and raised on the Central Coast, AHS graduate class of 1999. Lizabeth is happy to be home, serving the SLO County elegantly whimiscal cakes not found anywhere else on the CC!
