America’s Tire Store – San Luis Obispo, CA

We started coming here after receiving terrible service from another company. Every time we enter the store we are always treated in a friendly manner. The service is impeccable and tire rotations have been free because we purchased the tires there. The prices are extremely competitive and I always feel like my money is well spent. I would recommend to anyone in the area.

What great service they gave me. My motor home blew a tire and I noticed that I really needed to replace all 6 tires. They were able to get the 6 tires in a day and installed them in just over an hour. They are very professional and keep a clean shop. I would recommend them if you are in the area. Another great fact is that they are all over the US and offer free flat tire repair and will rotate your tires too.

Got a flat fire on the way home from Monterey to Los Angeles. They got us in and out of there in like 15 minutes and this was on a Saturday afternoon! Gave us a great price on the tire and great service! Would definitely recommend this place :)

Was in SLO for a less than 24 hour trip when I blew out my two left tires the night before on Madonna… I remember seeing an America’s Tires in SLO from when I went to Cal Poly so I had my car towed here! I knew they opened at 8am so I promptly showed up at 7:59AM with my friend in hopes to get some new tires on my car right away. I walked in the door and the workers immediately asked me if the car outside was mine. I said yes and they went right to it… Getting my account information and walking with me outside to check the situation out. I don’t know his name but he measured the treads on all my tires and showed me a poster explaining the treads and why the new tires would have to be placed in the back. He helped me pick out affordable tires and I paid and within 20 minutes I had two new tires on my car! Super quick service and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you!!!
Tldr. If you ever need new tires and need to get towed, have them tow you here! You’ll be in and out in a jiffy :)

I traveled to San Luis Obispo from the Pacific Northwest (Tualatin, Oregon) on 23 December, and my left rear tire was damaged by a metal object on the road surface near Exit 569 on southbound Highway 101. The new tire, purchased in preparation for the trip, was damaged beyond repair. I continued on my mismatched spare and enjoyed a fine family Christmas, but knew I had to replace the tire without delay… certainly before my return trip, so I arrived at the America’s Tire Store on 26 December. Customer service was excellent, outstanding, and I encountered positive attitudes and fine customer care throughout. With thanks to Mr. Daniel Ortega and other members who assisted me, got me back on the road without undue delay. I recommend America’s Tire consistently, and this store specifically for your tire needs.

This place is awesome! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I haven’t purchased a thing from them and they fixed my flat tire for free!
The quote for a pair of tires was also well priced. They offer lifetime repair and maintenance on tires, and all things related.

When I got to American Tire I was greeted immediately by Daniel. He was very helpful. I was very surprised to find out the flat repair was free of charge. I will be buying my new tires when the time comes, at American Tire.

I went in at about 9 am because one of my tires had a slow leak and I drove out at 9:25 with a repaired tire and no charge. The place was clean, the employees friendly and informative. It was a great customer service experience. When I need new tires I will definitely give them a shot at it.

Blowing a tire on the way to a supposedly relaxing vacation was not an ideal way to start out but so glad we ended up here. Sure, the guy that helped us out (Danny?) was working those sales points but he was never pushy and was actually a lot fun to deal with. Everyone there was very cheerful and seemed happy to be doing what they were doing. We were in and out of there in 45 minutes with a full set of 4 new tires and recommendations on rotation and such based on my crazy cross country trip habit. It was the best tire/​auto service experience I’ve ever had and they made what could have been a real downer, really easy and even enjoyable. Thanks a ton!

The service is why you would come here. The front desk help was well above average. The tires were installed within the timeframe disclosed. The waiting area is new. The chairs are in good condition. The restrooms are clean and well stocked. I would recommend this store if you need tires.

I really like to support local small business. Went to two local tire stores before America’s tires. Both didn’t have my tire size in stock and customer service at both were tired, bored reception.

This SLO tire shop always helps me out if I need anything to do with my vehicles tires, fixes my tires damage for free and always shows great customer service. Always been helped whenever I go in in a very quick and courteous way.

Back in late June 2015 we were headed northbound on the 101 on a two week trip with the family travel trailer in tow. We had a blowout and after a hiccup with our roadside assistance with AAA, we were back on the road in need of tires. We called up and informed this Americas Tire we would be pulling into the lot within seconds of them closing on a Friday. The manager assured us they would wait for us and when we arrived about 5 minutes before closing they had four guys each with jacks in hand to work on our RV. We were out of the lot with four brand new tires within 20 minutes. I commend you guys on such professional customer service. It made the rest of our trip go without a hitch! I have always preferred going to our local Americas Tire and this experience ensured we will be customers for a long time to come.

Great price, negotiable, and friendly service. There’s not much more I can ask for from a tire place. I’m a or was a die hard Costco tire supporter until my dad brought me here last weekend. Gabriel was able to hook me up with the same tires I was quoted for at Costco for nearly $ 100 less along with their warranty. I was in, out and satisfied within 45 minutes. I’ll definitely be back for my next set!

We love this place! We bought our tires here & come back for the free tire rotations, but the best part for me is the sparkling clean bathroom! Keep up the awesome customer service!

Great customer service. I appreciated that they were very transparent with pricing and the different options available. Did not feel pressured at all to purchase something I wasn’t comfortable with. I will definitely be returning for future purchases.

So here’s my experience: drive over pothole, got a flat. Called AAA got my car towed to America’s Tire. Right away the manager comes out to greet me. I say I got a flat, but, having bought tired from them in the past (in Los Angeles) I bought a warranty on my tires. Yes, for $ 25 (paid when I bought my new tires), I can have this flat replaced with the same model tire. If they don’t have one of equal wear, they get you a new one. The manager was extremely friendly. My low profile tire was not in stock so he loaned me a BRAND NEW tire until my other arrived at their shop. Seriously, going above and beyond here.
While I’m waiting, the guys in the shop are like the nascar crew. 3 – 4 people get to work on the car. Undo the lug nuts, check air pressure on ALL the tires (not just the one that was punctured), and even inspect my rim for damage. It was awesome.
And this isn’t the first time. I’ve been a loyal customer for 3 years now. Mostly in LA but moving up here for school I was happy to see their store here. They are every bit as professional as the other stores I’ve been to.
If there’s anything car related worth an investment: 1) AAA and 2) Buy your tires at America’s Tire and be treated well. They go far to take care of you. I’m impressed and always recommend my friends go here.

This place is AMAZING!!! I went in for a tire rotation, had no appointment and I was done in 15 minutes. The customer service is awesome! We will ALWAYS go here for tires and tire service!

Rolled in to have a screw in my tired pulled and plugged. Was met by Gabriel when I got out of the car to help me out.
He offered to take the car right away and have it fixed. Working close by, I had him take it and call me when done.
20 minutes later, car was ready, tire was fixed, and the best part, no charge!

BEWARE! I took my car to this location because it’s next door to the dealership that I bought my car from, I figured I can get all of my servicing done in one area.
I brought my car in for a simple balance and rotation back in July and was told that my tires were severely low on tread and I would need to get them replaced ASAP. (He suggested that I not wait longer than a month and I shouldn’t go on any long road trips)
I don’t know if he thought he could fool me cause I was a younger guy driving a Mercedes so he thought I would just cough up the $ 800+ without another thought, but he was wrong.
Since my tires were only about a year and a half old, I took it to another tire company to have them double checked… Sure enough, not one, but TWO other tire technicians told me that I had another 15−20k miles left on them!
This guy clearly was just trying to make money by giving false information to a customer that would trust his «professional opinion». I will never come back to any America’s Tire Store, and I will make sure and let every single person I know about the scam artists that you are. Also, I will make sure next time I am at the Mercedes-​Benz/​Chevrolet dealership next door, that I let them know they should think twice about referring any customers to them for this very reason.

Wonderful. I went in to get new tires, they had exactly what I needed, and it got done in less than 20 minutes. Can’t believe how quickly it all was done!
There was a problem where I realized that they charged me the wrong price for something but I called, went back, and they fixed it immediately. Their customer service is great!

I want to leave a great review for David and the team at Americas Tire in SLO. I had a flat that was not repairable hundreds of miles away. There was no way i was going to make it home on my spare and they did not have my tire in stock. I was freaking out!
David a team member at Americas Tire provided a solution, provided a loaner tire for me to get me back home safely and I was in and out in a short matter of time.
Thanks for taking care and making sure i was able to get back safe. I will continue to get all my tire services at AT as long as a location is nearby.
