I was referred to Dr. Yee by a friend, as well as my former dentist. I’ve never been a fan of switching dentists, but Dr. Yee and his staff were fantastic!
The office is clean, it smells great and everyone is friendly and professional.
Unfortunately, I’m unable to save my tooth and will be returning to have it extracted.

I was happy with my visit today with Dr. Yee. Everyone was friendly at the office, they were on schedule and efficient, the dental assistant was skilled and gave me good oral care advice, and all went well with Dr. Yee. It was a simple cleaning and x-​ray visit, but I plan to return for my next scheduled cleaning. We also had a chat about Unilocal since I said I was referred by the site, so I felt it was only fair to add my own review.

We were very positively impressed with our experience at the office of Dr. Winston Yee, to which we had come for cleanings and check-​ups.
A dentist I had been seeing previously had been pushing very hard for me to get numerous crowns. When I asked Dr. Yee for his opinion, he said (after having asked me whether I had any complaints, to which had I answered in the negative), «If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!»
Dr. Yee is truly a breath of fresh air, a kind and compassionate person, with the true interests of the patient at heart. We also appreciated his efforts at continuing education with regard to good dental hygiene.
Dr. Yee’s hygienist, Cora, was also very good. My wife has always dreaded cleanings, as sensitivity gave her considerable pain. But Cora made the experience quite bearable. The receptionist (didn’t get her name) was pleasant, too.
In short, we highly recommend Dr. Yee and his team at Hesperian Dental.

I came to the dentist for a cleaning with sensitive gums. Dr. Yee and his staff is very kind and professional. The cleaning did not hurt at all and he made very good recommendations for my future gum and teeth care at home. I look forward to my next visit.

So glad I found this place, very friendly front desk and the dr is awesome, very conservative, friendly, honest, and ive been in the dental field for past 7 years. So I can spot a scam dr. and he is not one of those. They accept Carecredit which Is a plus, and fees are VERY reasonable for such good care. I def. recommend this dr to anyone.

I do not regret choosing Dr. Yee as my dentist recently and you won’t either. Having no insurance or funds kept me from the dentist office for years, but pain when I chewed on one side of my mouth and finally getting Medi-​Cal coverage in May brought me to search for and find Dr Yee, who luckily takes the insurance. In an x-​ray and exam, he discovered my only fillings had cracked and recommended a removal/​replacement after a cleaning for which I was years over-​due. He did the work efficiently and with care. I’m a big baby about pain and anytime I felt anything I didn’t like, he and his assistant responded to and fixed swiftly. He and his staff listen attentively and are courteous and address any concerns professionally and proficiently, returning my calls the same day, etc. He advised me going forward, telling me I did right to take care of this now before it got worse. I felt taken care of and isn’t that what a good doctor is all about?.

walked by Dr. Yee’s office and noticed that the establishment accepted most insurances, and they were able to book me on short notice. his staff is courteous. the whole thing went casual and professional. he is competent in his profession and offered referrals to colleagues’ practices near where i live. thanks for cleaning my teeth. appreciate that.

My children were seen in this office about 8 times for cleanings.

I was fine until the Dr lost my trust. just ONE TIME… to me it was one time too many. because it had involved my children.
My children go for their regular cleanings. Until recently, my 13 year old came out of the room w/​a gauze in his mouth. I was not aware that he would get a tooth pulled out. He was given Novocain. I asked my son, what happened and of course he could barely talk. I asked the reception if she could tell me what was done with my son. She said she didn’t have the file on hand and called the Dr. The Dr called me in and I explained to him that all I was aware of was. this was a «regular cleaning» appointment and I wasn’t told about getting a tooth pulled. He said, that he had to remove it because according to the xray, it looked like it was getting infected. He showed me the xray. What I explained to him was, he’s a minor, I’m his parent and you gave him novocain (even if it was a small amount) w/​o telling me first. You wouldn’t even know if he was allergic to something. That is a BIG NO NO IN MY BOOK!
Not going here again. That’s a big mess up for me to come back. Sorry.

EXCELLENT! I’ve never had a better experience with any other dentist before. Dr. Yee is a very kind man who makes you feel like a friend, not just a patient.

I absolutely hate the dentist, but when Dr. Yee and his staff clean my teeth I feel relived. I’m always greeted w/​a smile and they usually try to carry a conversation w/​you about your day.
