I just ordered chinese food for delivery from this restaurant. I ordered house chow mein with singapore noodls, salt and pepper fish, prawns and brocolli. The noodles smelt a were burnt, the salt and pepper fish had little fish but a lot of batter. This quality of food is unacceptable to me. They are charging high prices for low quality and quanity. I will not be going here again. UPDATE: They did come back and refund my money for the two items that i was displeased with! Kudos for that.

This place is surprisingly good. I don’t know why all these whiners are complaining. The food is what matters. I never eat here. I always do to go or delivery. The General Tso’s chicken is surprisingly good as is the house fried rice. Would recommend!

We went in hopeful and in search of a new favorite place. We left with stomach aches and a bad taste in our mouths. Seriously. On scale of 1 to 10 this place is a negative 3. Panda has better food. There was quite a few take outs that called in orders but they only left with 1 or 2 small items. They must know the right things to order. Our meal was standard americanized fare; sweet n’sour pork, brocolli beef, bbq pork fried rice, egg rolls, pot stickers, chow fun and won ton soup. The meats were dried out with too much breading. The veggies were mushy. The rice and chow fun had no flavor and were oddly too dark in color. The pot stickers looked like dried dead skin or damaged leather. It was so horrible we only ate a lottle trying it all and it sat like a rock in our guts and our stomachs hurt. The next day we had horrible diarrhea and the cramping lasted for hours. Now we are dehydrated and wondering how they got their name yummy when it should be yucky.

Walked in at lunchtime and ordered spring rolls, which were a pricey $ 5.95. Wasn’t asked if my order was to-go. Rolls brought out in to-go packaging. They were fine. Sat in the empty dining area to eat. Wasn’t offered water or tea. Finished my spring rolls, but did not eat the fortune cookie, which was crushed to dust. Cute space to eat I there were music or service.

Not so yummy yummy, the food was quite bland, except for the orange chicken, drawback is it’s less chicken, more batter. Upside is it tastes better after a night in the fridge, go figure.

Yummy Yummy continues to be my go-to restaurant for Chinese food in San Leandro. The staff is always friendly, and the selection of dishes is varied. Admittedly, the choices for food are fairly conservative, but the dishes are always prepared with fresh, tasty ingredients, and the portions are generally very generous. The inclusion of boba drinks a few months back was a pleasant surprise, and should make anyone in the area happy who doesn’t feel like trekking downtown to T4 for a drink. Yummy Yummy is a wonderful spot for anyone looking to get a quick bite of Chinese food.

I visited this place last night. never again. the dry fried ribs tasted partially cooked and smelled like pig… yeah, I know… it is… but this here? I tossed it. The fried prawns tasted like it was fried in water — yeah, I know… bland, no flavor and mushy. I want my money back.

Chowing down right now and I’m feeling satisfied. Orange chicken is delicious. Chicken chow mein is awesome. Bbq pork fried rice is good. Pot sticker are«alright». Same with the crab wontons. Delivery was fast. Price was fair. I will order from them again!

I will never stop by this place again… Believe you me. Horrible experience. I had just gotten out from work coming back from the city. And not willing to pay an arm and a leg for some Chinese food. So… I decided to give this place a try… Huge mistake!!! After placing my order I requested to eat in instead of take out. They were so mad. The little Asian chick didn’t seem to happy that I was eating in… I understand it was almost time for closing but if you are an owner. Might want to show some compassion since I’m spending my money on some nasty ass food!!! End of story will not recommend this place!!!

The chicken and garlic sauce had fresh ingredients and the chicken was good. It wasn’t served with rice, just sauce and chicken and vegetables. The house special chow mien was okay. Neither of those were bad, but nothing special. But the crab wontons were so disappointing that I would never buy food from this restaurant again. There was no imitation or real crab, not one tiny speck. But what really surprised me was that there was nothing in them at all but the lightest layer of cream cheese you could possibly use. So it was a $ 6 order of fried half burnt wonton wrappers.

I think this was the worst Chinese food that I have ever eaten. The sweet n sour chicken was neither sweet or sour, it was completely flavorless. The service was good and the food was hot… I guess that’s a plus.

I have food delivers — great service — food always hot & tasty. Love the whole fried fish. Veggies & shrimp rice also quite nice. Mongolian beef really good — all dishes well prepared. Nice fast food experience. Note the will prepare steamed veggies only for those of us who want 2 ensure the family get their veggies in daily.

Disappointed. Ordered the crab wontons which were overcooked to the point that no cream cheese or crab were visible or could be tasted. Egg rolls were small and had no meat so technically a spring roll. Sweet and sour pork was soggy and didn’t taste good. The fried rice was tasty and delivery came very quickly(20 mins when we were told 45) which is where the two stars come from. We paid over $ 40 for dinner for two that wasn’t good. Will not be ordered again.

Sort of friendly on the phone but definitely abrupt, delivery time was fine. For what we got it seemed reasonably priced but not cheap. I appreciate the no MSG but there are other ways to flavor food and it was definitely lacking. The chow mein was very greasy and the BBQ pork slices were just drenched in sweet and sour sauce and didn’t seem BBQ or crisp at all. I don’t think I’ll be trying them again :-(

This was probably some of the least yummy Chinese food I have ever eaten. Chow mein and S&P Fish tasted greasy. The fish was over done. The Mixed Vegetables were just not good. The Wonton soup was bland and the wontons tasted like they were old. Chicken fried rice was plain. I will say the girl behind the counter was polite. And yes, she did have a heavy accent, but she was still very courteous and personable. The place seemed clean. I’m disappointed.

Haven’t even stepped foot in the place and definitely won’t patronize this place. I called to place an order for shrimp wonton soup and potstickers. Instead of the lady who answered the phone(who seemed to have an attitude in the first place) saying we don’t normally serve shrimp wonton soup, she gives me an astronomical amount over the phone. Apparently they charge $.75 per shrimp and there’s an extra charge to add chicken because everything is pork… and I don’t eat pork. Are u kidding me?! So wish my fav place Fountain Garden was open on Mondays ;(

Customer service = three out of five hard to hear abrupt Asian ladies Delivery time = five out of five must be speeding NASCAR drivers Pork fried rice = a solid four out of five smiling mouths. Sweet and sour pork = one out of five over breaded dried out pork bits. Fried prawns = two out of five overly breaded miniscule ocean bugs. Pot stickers = a passable three out of five fried doughy stomach fillers. Broccoli beef = a surprising four out of five well cooked broccoli florets. Sour soup(not a typo) = two out of five puckery sour warheads candies from the nineties. A total of 24 out of 40. Closer to a 2.5 star review but that’s not an option. I would only recommend this place if you need something quick and you aren’t picky.

Yummy Yummy has great food and quick delivery! There seems to be no storage of Chinese food eateries in San Leandro but I ask, are they all yummy yummy?! I’ve had my fair share of not so yummy yummy Chinese food in this town and I say that Yummy Yummy is just what I was looking for. It’s not hard to mess up pot stickers but the pot stickers here are killer! They taste fresh and the flavors are complex and welcomed. The prices aren’t crazy either, I feel the quality AND quantity of the food is adequate to what I pay for it. I generally get wonton soup, chow mien, and a couple of entrees when I order, don’t forget the pot stickers! Everything comes piping hot and with plenty of soy sauce and chili packets. I swear I haven’t bought soy sauce from the store in forever because of my take-out habits! The delivery is quick and being in a building where you have a call box is pretty sweet but it can be confusing at first if you aren’t used to it. Give Yummy Yummy a try and you won’t be sorry!
