Normally I don’t leave a feedback, but this shop is an exception! They did a very good job! my vehicle looks a lot better! I will definitely come back here if I need to get something done/​fixed for my car! And if you’re reading this post do not think twice about getting your car fixed at this body shop because their schedule is really tight!!! See photos of my car ‘before and after’ as proof!

I called these guys after failing to execute a complicated parking maneuver after a long day, on an empty stomach. The result of which was that I side swiped my husband’s car, in front of my own home, while driving my brand new leased vehicle. It was broad daylight. I was stone cold sober. Needless to say, I was anxious about the damage to my leased car, AND I felt like a complete idiot.
From the first phone contact, Nancy was friendly and reassuring. They invited me to come right over for a quote. When I arrived, she and Ed greeted me warmly, and took the time to explain what the work would entail and what my options were. Ed was straightforward, and it was clear that he is knowledgeable, and expert in his craft. After this meeting, I sought two other quotes from reputable shops. I ultimately decided to go with these guys, and I’m so glad I did!
They completed the work 3 days ahead of schedule, and my car looks PERFECT! I am beyond happy! These are good people whom I can imagine hanging out and barbecuing with, plus they are absolute professionals who do top-​notch work at a very fair price. If you need any kind of auto body work done, do not hesitate to bring your car here!

Our brand new Subaru Outback backed into a stone wall. Our first contact was with the owner, Eduardo, who was very helpful in assessing the situation, and planning the most convenient and cost-​effective solution. When the time came for the repairs, Nancy (the office manager) arranged the timing to minimize the time we were without a car, and so we didn’t need to get a rental. We live about 10 minutes from the shop — they gave me a ride home, and then delivered the car when the work was done.
The repair looks fantastic — as good as new, if not better.

5stars is an under statement, they deserve 100stars!
First off they work on all types of vehicles and all years, they do cash credit and also work with insurance claims. They worked on my vehicle twice and I have a 2014 Chevy impala they ordered all my original parts from Chevy that was awesome! They had my car looking brand new fresh out the lot when I picked up and even had the inside smelling new car fresh I wanted to cry. There customer service is just as good as there work Nancy is amazing I love her she is extremely nice, caring, understanding takes care of you just like your vehicle and keeps up with you so your not waiting impatiently for your vehicle. They have great prices, amazing customer service and phenomenal body and paint work. This is exactly how a business should be ran. Go here you will never even think to regret this place, you will only regret not ever going there. I will forever take my vehicles there and be glad to see nancy. ****************************

These are absolutely the best people to do business with!!! Just purchased a used vehicle and although mechanically perfect, it needed a facelift. Nancy was just a joy to work with and dropped everything she was doing when I first got there and Ed immediately came out to assist me as well. There were a number of paint chips that needed to be touched up and the hood of the car was in need of paint. Ed immediately made me feel comfortable and assured me they could make it look like new. They did not disappoint! The car looks fabulous and since it is black the shine and new paint make it look better that new. The detail job was the topping on the cake! Even though I am located 25 miles from their shop, I would never take my auto anywhere else… should I need it. Absolutely wonderful people and the work was OUTSTANDING! Kudos to San Leandro Collision and Customs.

I had got into an accident with my honda, both left side doors were hit, the car is old so didn’t think it would be covered by my insurance but (luckily and thanks to SCAC I think) it was! Even tho they are not a Geico preferred shop, I had seen their work so I went ahead and took the chance with them! Car was done SUPER fast and the work speaks for itself.. .AMAZING! Now for the part that makes them a six star shop.. . their customer service is top notch! From the first contact with them over the phone super nice and professional, it was my lady’s first time being in an accident and they made her feel really comfortable, calmed her down being that she still had a little bit of the jitters walked me through how the whole process works as far as a rental car and how long it would take them. This is an example of an old school business honest mom and pop shop. Would recommend them to anyone looking to breathe a sigh of relief from professionalism!

Best body shop! Fixed it right the first time and cant tell where the damage was. Two thumbs up.

Ive got to admit im a repeat customer. Got my car back yesterday and i almost cried tears of joy. I even had to hug Nancy! Ed did wonders with my 03 Impala. I swear i tought it was a new car! He did so much more than i expected. I was amazed! Its no wonder i keep coming back. I loved the fact they had my car back to me in less time than anticipated. They even detailed it. Just got my car back from them and it looks amazing! They cleanly replaced my rear bumper and tail light cover, cleaned my car (inside and out), and gave me a great deal for all of it! They’re really honest people and I couldn’t find a better place close to me.

A few weeks ago I was going to shop for my bday dress. Little did I know, I was going to get into a car accident. Long story short, I was blessed to find San Leandro Collision and Customs through Unilocal and the wonderful reviews. I quickly found out why they have such a high rating.
The first question Nancy asked me was if I was ok. She was concerned about my well being above all, and I appreciated that so much. She walked me through everything, called me with updates and told me what else needed to be done. This place is like a family and everyone looks out for each other.
Once I got my car back, I still received nothing but the best from Nancy, her husband and everyone else at the shop. My car looked even better than it did before the accident and they took extremely good care of her and myself. If I could give them 1000 stars, I would :) I recommend this place 100% and will definitely be going back for any and all services I need!

I sent out 20+ emails on Unilocal for auto body shops in the San Leandro/​Oakland/​Hayward area looking for somebody to paint a set of old junior high lockers to make them look high-​end for a modern edgy look to the master bedroom in our mid-​century modern home. Only one other place said they could do it, but the estimate was ridiculous and they didn’t sandblast. Here, the estimate was fair and the timeline was short. Above and beyond that, Nancy was such a huge help and so enthusiastic about my unique project. I got the lockers today, and they are stunning. Lockers. .. stunning. Seriously. The attention to detail on all the locking and hanging mechanisms shows me how much professional pride the shop owners and employees take in their work. Five stars from beginning to end. Thank you, SLCC!

What a BLESSING to have found this body shop! Took my Stang in for body work, & let me tell you, she looked BETTER than she did when I bought her! The owners of the shop, Nancy & Eduardo, are AMAZING! Nancy immediately answered my questions & assured me that once I decided to drop off my car she would take care of the rest (communicating w/​insurance company & making the arrangements for my rental); it went SMOOTHER than I thought– in just a few days my car was ready to run the streets again! VERY attentive, HONEST advice, & EXCELLENT service! Me senti como en familia! Dios los bendiga!

Few shops provide custom work. Even less can do accomplish what Ed did in 3 days with my Audi TT. It would be narrow minded to suggest they specialize only in classic American low riders. My review is based on workmanship and not another customer’s style/​preference of vehicle. In my case, I needed an aftermarket bumper shell installed that included custom fabrication to incorporate an Audi A8 grill. This was no bolt on task. Ed and his team did a great job (see photos) and was professional every step of the way providing updates. Above all else, he came in under the quoted estimate.

I highly recommend this place Eduardo and his wife Nancy are very nice and helpful… this is the second time I take my car into their shop and I love there service… you won’t regret it I promise …

I have never had a custom paint job on any vehicle done before and I was a ‘nervous nellie’! SLC&C came highly recommended, and I did some comparison shopping as well-​my ‘Bella’ is now absolutely gorgeous! Nancy was great about encouraging my color selection to suit me (it’s been verified by friends). She kept me posted on status of the work, any changes, and they extended me every courtesy.
I am very, very happy to recommend these folks for their excellent work, and for the obvious pride they take in their level of customer service and end results!

My Honda Accord was backed into a while back and I needed to find a quality body shop to repair the front bumper, and Ed explained everything thoroughly. Nancy was also great at keeping me updated on the progress of the repair of my car. Ed was also cognizant of my busy schedule and provided a ride to the Bart station.
Working in the software industry and having an eye for detail 100%, I am completely satisfied with the results of the auto body work completed on my Honda Accord!!!
