History

Established in 1983.

My Name is Gary Bate I started as an apprentice paperhanger in 1983 working for a company that specialized in residential and Model homes, after one year I started my own company: «Wallpaper by Gary». In 2002, I changed the name of the company to «Ultimate Wallcovering»

While we offer many services the main focus of my business is custom residential. Over the years we have built up a long list of loyal clients by providing top craftsmanship, reasonable prices and excellent service.

I have lived in southern Orange County since 1969. I attended Laguna Beach High School and Orange Coast College. I took course’s in architectural drafting, construction and art.

I’m recently married and blessed with 4 children and one grandson. In my spare time I enjoy surfing, snowboarding and spending time with my family, and don’t forget

that never ending list of «honey-do’s «!

We work with many local decorators and paint, wallpaper stores in the area and can offer many excellent referrals. All wallcoverings are personally installed by ME.
