NYC Style Pizza, Gyros, Fresh Salads & Chicken Shish Kabobs. Our Fresh Flat bread from the oven is to die for. We cater weddings, corporate events, birthdays and much more. We prepare each of our sauces, pizzas, calzones, lasagnas, and sandwiches from scratch with fresh ingredients that we purchase from a local farm. Our bread is freshly baked every morning, and every menu item is made right when you order it. Not only do we put love into our food, but at NYC Café and Catering, we value our patrons. NYC Café and Catering is family owned and operated. Our staff and management are experienced professionals who understand how to prepare and serve steaming hot, delicious Italian meals and fresh Mediterranean dishes in a clean and comfortable atmosphere. I have grown up in the restaurant business. Since I was 7 years old my father would take me to his pizza shop. Growing up Living in five different countries and different types of restaurants equipped me for NYC Café & Catering. After all these years in the business I have experienced everything you can think of. My main focus with NYC Café & Catering is to provide fresh food at affordable prices. Our dishes are scrumptious and unique. You be the judge and come in and try it for yourself.

I ordered chicken pasta Alfredo with mushroom and got no chicken or mushroom just pasta and Alfredo sauce. send $ 30 for nothing. I could of made it myself. first and definitely the last time ordering from here!

Love this place! I’ve been going here for years. They have delicious food (I especially love their pizza, gyros and Greek salad) …and such a nice staff! We had them deliver pizzas and salad for our meeting today and they always do a great job! You can certainly find something here to satisfy your taste buds!

I have been here 3x in the past two weeks. I’ve been wanting to try this little place tucked in between a nail salon and a weight loss business. In the 3x times I’ve been there not a lot of customers were present but they do have lots of delivery and pick-​up orders. My first try I ordered a gyro and the Penne Blush Rush pasta. Both items were really good but I expected that their other menu items would be better. 3 days later I ordered a large New York Special Pizza with pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, and onions. They let us order half without olives and mushrooms. This is New York style pizza so it’s thin crust and it was mmm. mmm…DELICIOUS!!! Monday night I ordered an XL BBQ Chicken Pizza and my goodness was it AWESOME! It’s my favorite meal there so far. It was good even the day after when I brought the leftovers for lunch. This is my new favorite place in SJC!!! Oh and bonus, if you join their «Texting» club you get 20% off your first order and at the beginning of every week you get a text message of the discount for that week!

Stopped here for lunch today and I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of the place. It’s got a European Gastropub feel to it. Very clean and service staff attentive and cheerful.
I chose he Greek gyro sandwich a la carte. I thought I’d take it home, but the smell got me so hungry, that I decided to take a few bites in the car. Big mistake! This sandwich is hella big, so not great to eat it in your car or eat it when on a date, but that’s a good thing, right?! Packed with crisp romaine, juicy tomatoes, red onion and feta, this gyro sandwich is a complete meal. Wow! I chose the spicy yogurt sauce alongside and it had a nice kick, although next time I’ll try the regular tziziki for a change.
Very pleased and it was a great value. Will definitely be back!

Great food but a little bit of a mixed experience, eggplant Parmesan served in a tinfoil bowl but gyros served on a fancy plate? The place only had two menus as well. Very friendly staff, and the food was served quick as well, nice and hot.

This place has okay food, but I’m leaving this negative review because it’s not just about food. There is zero professionalism in this place. The employees are generally rude, and the last order I took over the phone the dude basically hung up on me. That and there pizza is overpriced ($ 17 for decent pizza? No thanks). Not coming back.

4÷2÷2016. 11:30a.m. We walked into the café and the redhead behind the counter who ‘helped’ us has the personality of a lump of dirt. She never once looked at my elderly mother who telling the redhead her order at the cash register area. She spoke as if we were a bother. The owner was always nice and we loved coming in but no longer.
P. S. I found a partially dead fly in my antipasto salad.

NYC Catering catered my St. Patrick’s Day party and they did a phenomenal job! My guests were all raving about it. I decided at the last minute not to cook for 25 people so I called them and Al was able to accommodate me only 3 days before the party. I was very pleased.
His crew delivered corned beef, cabbage slaw, rye bread, and potatoes. Everything was fresh and delicious! I checked a lot of other places and NYC catering not only delivered but they had the best pricing around.
I will definitely be using them again!

We absolutely love NYC café! The food is wonderful — from the pizza to the gyros, the pasta dishes and sandwiches to the salads — but every bit as importantly, the service here is truly exceptional! They don’t charge for delivery, and always arrive faster than promised. I love this place overall, but want to express our sincere appreciation of Amber, who represents NYC café so incredibly well. Not only is she friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and helpful, her refreshingly engaging and positive attitude make her an absolute pleasure to interact with, both on the phone and when visiting the restaurant. This place is a must-​try! I don’t normally give 5 stars in reviews but I have to share my experience at NY Café.
Service: Let me begin by giving a shoutout to Amber and Nico. They were an absolute delight! I was in town for the night, celebrating my birthday weekend. Amber was so sweet and helpful. After recommending some food items she customized my order and even threw in a free dessert for my birthday! She even went out of her way to find me a candle for my cheesecake slice… the extra effort did not go unnoticed :)
Food: The portions were huge! We ordered a small pizza, which was delicious! And the Gyro plate was amazeballs! It was bae’s first time trying Mediterranean food (he’s picky AF) and even he loved it! They offered us water and tea while we waited for our food, which was nice.
FYI, sign up for the text promotion and get an additional discount! We paid just under $ 20 for all our food! *insert fat girl dance* Excellent food, great service and reasonably priced items. I will definitely revisit next time I’m in the area!

Gyro is next level. Fries are amazing, seasoning is delicious. Service is fantastic! I ordered a gyro and fries to go and when I got home and saw the size of the gyro I was in shock, it’s huge! Usually things like that fall apart almost immediately, especially when it’s take out, but the gyro stayed together the whole way through. Everything was so tasty. I will definitely go back. So many options.

Absolutely fabulous little café!
Amber is a delightful and engaging manager, the food is superb and not at all what you might expect from a strip mall hole in the wall restaurant, and the weather is perfect (not many restaurants pay attention to the weather). No matter who orders what everyone will be happy. Swap, share, try it all!
I suggest dining al fresco. Have everyone put their cell phones in a pile on the table. First one to check their phone picks up the tab.
