Well where can I begin, let’s start with the terrible customer service in which I was very unpleased to the point where I wanted to leave and never come back. Besides the costumer service the fresh water here was terrible, in comparison to sewage water I would pick the sewage water. The fries were missing large amounts of salt and as for the food it was missing the most important ingredient, which is love, therefore made the food unpleasant to swallow.(That’s what she said) I’m very sorry but I’m out. Never again. Peace!

I am a sucker for Mexican food. I came here with my family. The first thing I noticed was the employees taking up the tables to eat inside and no place for people to eat. The food I will give a B-. The rice was a little undercooked and consisted of too much garlic. The ketchup packets were the worst. Reminded me of school lunch ketchup packs. I asked for the potato tacos only to be told they didn’t have any, but the chicken ones were good. Overall, the experience was ok.

I came here twice within a week for tamales and champurrado to bring to holiday gatherings. The first time I ordered pork, chicken, and cheese tamales. All were delicious and generous in size. $ 19/dozen. The large champurrado is $ 4 for what I think is about 32 oz. Enough for 3 – 4 cups to share. Not as chocolatey or as clumpy as others I’ve had from other places. It’s spiced well and on the thinner side, but delicious, nonetheless! Also grabbed some rice, beans, and salsa. Yum! The second time I came, I bought tamales, champurrado, a bag of tortilla chips, some salsa, and a large albondigas soup. The soup was just ok, probably wouldn’t get it again. I do look forward to soon trying the other menu items such as the burritos, tacos, and chilaquiles.

I stopped by this place recently on a short trip to San Juan Capistrano. It’s a few blocks down from the mission; the distance is about a nice 15 minute walk or an even shorter drive. The establishment is in a plaza, so parking is not a problem at all. We came in during the lunch rush on a Saturday, so the line was a little long. There are a few tables inside and some outside, the on the whole, seating is a little sparse and probably not great for big groups. I ordered a 2-taco combo(comes with rice and refried beans), which came at a decent price of $ 6.99. I got one chicken taco and one carne asada taco. Both were delicious, but I especially loved the chicken one. The amount of onion, cilantro, and lime in the taco was perfect. The plate itself was the perfect amount — the tacos were pretty filling, but the rice and beans really helped to round the meal out. This place is great for good, cheap Mexican food. Next time I will try their carne asada fries!

Everyone’s got their favorite burrito spot in Southern California and for a veggie burrito this is mine. I opt for black beans with green sauce and it’s my gold standard. In terms of comparing burritos this is the one that each new veggie burrito has to stack up against and so far I haven’t found one to beat it but I like things simple. Rice, beans, cheese, cilantro, onion, salsa, maybe sour cream but no broccoli or carrots or squash. That stuff is for wraps, not burritos, but to each his/her/etc. own. Regardless el milolino’s is filling, fresh enough, delicious and cheap. I love it. The chicken burrito, chile verde, breakfast burrito and juice selection are all top notch as well.

I could eat here everyday! Hands down the best taco joint down in this area. The quick and friendly service doesn’t hurt either!

Was driving home to LA from Diego & got hungry along the way. Found this little gem in the shopping mall. Had carne asada fries, tamale, nachos, rolled tacos & birria. Everything was delicious, the fact that fries & chips are made to order is a plus. The birria was pretty good & good birria is hard to find. There is also a bakery attached that I wanted to try but we didn’t have time to stand in line since we had to get back on the road. Will definitely be back for a pit stop the next time I pass through.

Man o Man, can u say delicious! Ordered several things. Green pork tamale, carne asada fries, nachos, n rolled tacos! Tamale– perfectly perfect! Yummolicious Carne asada fries– good ass fu:$ the carne asada was perfectly seasoned and the fries held their own underneath all the toppings. Nothin worse than soggy fries. Rolled tacos– yummy, just slightly disappointed that he told me it was beef and it wasn’t. Nachos– he fried my tortillas fresh. You know that almost NEVER happens! My girls demolished them! OVERALL, I loved it! This will definitely be on my list of grub spots on my way to or coming back from San Diego!

Went here twice this week. Can’t say enough how authentic and fantastic the food is here. They are fast even when very busy during the lunch rush. The service was better this week. Blanca still always seems mad, but that adds to the charm of the experience. She’s growing on me. Just make sure to communicate what you are ordering. It’s great when they make it however they want to, and it’s off the charts when they make it the way you ask… You go eat here !

There are plenty options for Mexican food in San Juan and this place is more average than it is amazing. My sister loves this place though… So I guess to each his own.

This place is very very dirty. I was going to grab lunch there but I needed to use the ladies room. DISGUSTING!!! I saw rat droppings underneath the sink and there was poop drops everywhere as they have a baby changing station. I immediately lost my appetite. Never again. If that’s how they treat a restroom. Ughhh I can’t even imagine how they treat they’re food. And I think the health department should be notified. Sorry. I used to love this place :(

Mmmm El Molino De Oro. We usually only frequent this place when we have to do some admin work at the next door Kinkos. This is a point point style Mexican food establishment so tell your friendly clerk how you want to decorate that burrito. El Molino is also a great value for DIY small party catering or to scoop up your occasional cheap Taco Tues/Mini Margarita fix… Yes they serve Alki!!! Their food is pretty darn cheap, peeps… But just like everything else you usually get what you pay for… The meat isn’t the greatest here and the tiny morsels can be somewhat gritty and fatty at times but hey… Isn’t that what fast food is… Fattening and not the best quality so don’t fret just sit back and enjoy some of my gringo faves… The Carne Fries can be ordered up with your favorite type of meat or get adventurous and mix in some lengua(while supplies last) or some barbacoa meat in there. Don’t forget to add that crema and fresh guac and to my fellow fast food patrons, please be careful with their sauce… It can get sweaty real quick so ask for a sample first. And also ask whats fresh off the grill for the best experience. Water it all down with one of your favorite Aqua Frescas such as an icey cold refreshing horchata(Orrrr-Cha-tuh) and just feel relieved that you didn’t break the bank… This place is a steal!

Don’t get all the excitement over this place. The guys behind the counter were helpful but the cashiers were too busy on their phones to pay much attention to us. Felt as if we were interfering with their social lives. Food was ok and the atmosphere was not good. A bit too dirty and work lunchroom feel to it. Ricardo’s is better and right around the corner.

THIS is the place to go for Mexican bread!!! Their tortillas and chips are ok, but it’s the bread that makes the place awesome. On one side of the store are the entrees, tables and bathrooms. On the otherwise is the bakery. There is a wall of sweet bread which you can pile up on a tray and take up to the register. Their bolillo(bread roll) breakfast sandwiches are the best! They go in the back and get the freshly baked bread and send it to the other side to get stuffed with your choice of meats cheese and eggs. The freshly squeezed juices are also excellent.

Just learned today that they will make taquitos e papas for those jones’ing for a South American flair. Definitely getting these next time. Today it’s a chicken chorizo torta. Their chicken chorizo is amazing. Just the right amount of spice, just the perfect size for tortas or breakfast burritos. Enjoy!

During our stay in Dana Point we asked the valet at our hotel for a good taco place. He referred us to El Molino. We thought we’d give it a try since the locals would know best and it was pretty close to our location. We wanted to eat on our hotel room patio. We entered through their bakery. Everything looked really good, but we didn’t order from that side. They had seating inside and outside. On the restaurant side there was seating in there too and it looked spacious. I didn’t venture too far in. Our take out order consisted of the chili relleno combo plate, 2 taco combo plate, carne asada nachos, el pastor torte, and some chicharron. Service was good given the guy helping us appeared to be a new employee. Our food held up until we reached our hotel. We were very satisfied with everything. I would definitely return, maybe even while we’re still in the area.
