Zumba Fitness With Joe

He is the reason I wake up on Saturdays!!! Joe is an absolutely amazing dancer and it is very easy to pick up his steps and follow him on the dance floor. During weekdays, his Zumbastic class provides me with much needed stress relief with Joe’s electric energy, brilliant music and fantastic Latin moves!
Despite being a regular for almost 2 years, I still get an awesome, sweaty, fun filled work out along with great friends and lovely people.
I’d recommend Joe Zumba to anyone who’ll listen.
It’s a party every time!!! This is undeniably the best Zumba in town.

I have tried many Zumba classes before. They were all great but nothing as energetic, fun and awesome as Joe. He will help you learn the steps. Once you take his classes, you might think twice or thrice going to someone else. $ 10 for drop-​in and it’s totally worth it. Good sweat and good work-​out. Will go back.

I had such a great time zumba’ing with Joe. I’m from Orange County, so I come in to Northern California 3 – 4 x a month. I’ve zumba’d for over 8 years and have found Joe’s choreography to be fun, friendly and challenging (which is what I look for). His energy level is very high, which is important for an instructor. I will be back for more Zumba when I’m in town!

What else do you need from a Zumba class? I have been taking Joe’s classes for the past 2 years and have followed him to the few locations he has taught in. His classes have an energy that is unmatched. Even when I am too tired or lazy to workout, I push myself to go because of Joe and the students in the class. I always leave with more energy than I cam with.

This has been the best workout class for me till date! Joe has fantastic, peppy music with super fun dance moves for the class. Plus, this is the only workout I can do continuously without a drop of water:) Definitely recommend this for anyone who loves dancing to good music!

I’ve been doing Joes Zumba class for over 3 years and I love it. I’ve lost a total of 70lbs and I’ve kept it off this last year! Joe has amazing passions for what he does and is great with creating moves that work and tone your body. His class is definitely worth checking out! :) Happy Dancing!!!

Best Zumba class ever! Within 5 minutes I am sweating and by the end I am soaked head to toe. Joe is super fun and adorable and makes the class fly by. It is essentially non stop and incorporates standard Zumba, with ab work, and toning sticks for the arms (I use 3 lb weights). You can vary the moves to your level and if you are worried about being uncoordinated just stay in the back. There are all different levels and ages of people who attend and everyone is friendly and helpful. It burns so many calories and tones the whole body head to toe so well that I was able to cancel my gym membership. I look forward to class and never think «Oh man I gotta go work out». The hour flies by and burns between 500 – 700 calories depending on how intense you want to get. I love your class Joe and you are a pleasure to be around!

As a retired professional dancer and currently a dance teacher teaching ballet, contemporary /​lyrical, and hiphop… I am naturally very critical when it comes do dance fitness classes. I CAN’T HELP IT!
When I first heard about Zumba, I tried out about 10 different instructors (no joke) and 8 out of 10, I disliked within the first 5 minutes. Most of them I even walked out on and just said to myself SCREW THIS and hit the treadmill instead. LOL! (I am a dance fitness snob, DON’T JUDGE ME).
Then one day, I came across Joe’s class at 24 HOUR Fitness…“HaaaaaaaHHHHHLLELuJaaaaaH!!!“
FINALLY!!! Someone whom not only HAS rhythm, but also a FANTASTIC instructor who has an AMAZING personality (not too much like other annoying instructors out there… lol) AND STICKS to the Zumba formula with 75%+ latin music.
Joe’s music choices is also the best out there! SO MUCH FUN!!! =D
What else, oh YEA! The people that come to the D-​Venue are also so nice and welcoming. Great People and Good Vibes all the time.
I still belong to a gym (actually 2 gyms) but I will go out of my way to pay for not only his classes BUT his Zumba Parties and Master Classes because it is TRULY worth it. I come for the experience and the quality of the workout, even it that means having to pay.
Joe not only gives me a great workout with Zumba, but he also inspired me to become the Zumba Instructor that I am today.

After reading all of the positive reviews on Unilocal I decided that I had to give Joe’s Zumba class a try. I even brought along my Mom and sister who both love it! My mom really hates running and other cardio but she is hooked on zumba– the class is fun and passes by so quickly. Joe is a great teacher and even if you have two left feet you can come to his class and have an amazing time dancing the calories away! There are ladies of all ages taking the class and even some men too! (I dragged my Dad along one time and he admitted he had a lot of fun).
Classes are only $ 7 and your first class is free. You can buy a punch card with 5 classes for $ 35 or 10 classes for $ 70.
I always like to have all of my information in one place so here is the schedule for the specific classes at the D’Venue location, taken from Joe’s page on the Zumba website (

Mon/​Wed: 10−11am, 7−8pm
Tues: 7−8pm
Wed: 10−11am, 7−8pm
Sat: 9−10am
If your schedule allows for it, I highly recommend taking the morning classes instead of the night classes because the night classes are much more crowded. Force yourself to wake up early on Saturday for the 9am class– I guarantee that the zumba music will energize you and the workout will be worth it!
The venue: there is lots of parking available outside of the venue. If you are facing X’treme martial arts and fitness center, D’venue is located in the building on the right (don’t look at the marker on Google maps or you will get confused like I did the first time I tried to find it). Go into the building and there will be a door to D’venue on the left side of the hallway.
If you are a mom with younger children there are large couches along the sides of the dance room for kids to sit and read/​play on ipads etc.

So, I wanted to try Zumba a couple of years ago, but couldn’t find the right time. Then, I tried it recently on a cruise and it motivated me to find a class when I returned home.
I wanted to go to a class that was recommended. I knew I found «the» instructor when I completed Joe’s class fully sweaty and still happy. His style is predominantly latin and he knows his shtuff. When it comes to cardio workouts, I am not easily motivated. For example, I won’t run unless I am being chased by something. Now, I look forward to going to Zumba with Joe three times a week. And, I leave class full of extra energy.
He’s also very approachable and helpful if you need help with the steps used in class.

When I move to San Jose from FL where I used to take ZUMBA TONIC. I never wanted to try a ZUMBA class here. I thought Oh well Just go dance and follow some steps what work out can I get? I just dance at home. I WAS WRONG Finally gave it a try. LOOK AT ME NOW I’M A ZUMBA ADDICTED. JOE IS AWESOME!!! LOVE THE MUSIC THE PEOPLE. THE PLACE IS VERY CLEAN AND FANCY. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO ZUMBA & a PAPASITO como JOE ^_​^* THIS IS THE PLACE. PLUS THE EVENTS ARE SO COOL. AN A EXTRA PLUS PLUS IS ONLY $ 7 a class :)

I have been to Joe’s Zumba class in Campbell for few weeks now. I am totally in love!!! I am so glad that I found this place as I had been trying out different Zumba instructors in the South Bay and found myself disappointed until I met Joe.
Joe is such a great dancer. He makes the class so easy and fun. And he encourages you to add your personal touch/​style to the moves.
The venue is clean and spacious. The receptionist lady is lovely and welcoming. I especially love every music Joe picks. I get pump up right away!
Definitely recommend to anyone who wants some real music and real dance or anyone wants great workout with fun!

Joe was fantastic. He had 4 other instructors there too. It was really the quality of a top notch master class. The room is beautiful. The students are super supportive and nice. The time went by very fast. I purchased a multi session pass. I will be back for sure.

I am a professional dancer and hardcore fitness enthusiast, so I’m very particular about certain things. I need classes that are fun, high energy, challenging and I expect an exceptional degree of professionalism.
With that in mind, Joe is one of the best instructors I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I met him when he first moved to the Bay Area in 2010 and I have been taking his classes ever since.
Joe is warm, enthusiastic and welcoming to new students. His cues are clear and easy to follow. He makes sure that students take care of their knees and back. He makes sure to show both basic and advanced movements for a variety of skill levels. He is on time and generous with helping those who may have questions after class. He encourages everyone to have a great time and let loose. He has a great sense of humor… And last but certainly not least, he is a hell of a dancer.
For all those reasons and more, I am. and will continue to be… a devoted student and fan. I suggest you become one as well. Whether you are young or old, male or female, have two left feet or can Samba your heart out with the best of them… I guarantee you will have a blast and get an awesome workout without even realizing it. It’s that much fun.
As to the venue… it is conveniently located right off of ⁸⁸⁰⁄₁₇ and 85 near the Campbell/​Los Gatos border, there is plenty of parking, floor to ceiling mirrors, a fantastic, smooth hardwood floor, a friendly crowd and a good sound system. It is pretty spacious, and there is a huge fan to circulate the air but it does get warm… so bring plenty of water and maybe a small towel for your face. You WILL get your sweat on!
Drop in classes are available, as well as punch card memberships. Something for everyone!

Joe’s classes are a blast. The best music, awesome easy to follow moves, assured fun and sweat… And the best, he will make you burn around 800 calories per class.
I would recommend his classes to anyone… No experience necesary!!!
Thanks to Joe’s classes I’ve been able to lose ALL my pregnancy extra pounds and maintain a healthy weight, and most important it cured the prediabetes consequence of the gestational diabetes I developed during my pregnancy.

To describe Joe’s class takes one word– ok, maybe 4 words. OUT OF THIS WORLD!
I first tried Joe’s class at a local gym, 6 months ago. Upon arrival the front desk staff told me there was a wait-​list for his class, that i would be # 9 on the list! WHAT!!! wait-​list? #9? for a zumba class??? Right as i was about to leave one of the trainers said, «you should stay, Joe’s class is really great.» Alright, I thought, lets see what the big fuzz is about (i had tried zumba with other instructors and it was nothing extraordinary). Well, little did i know that after the first ten minutes, I would become ZUMBA OBSSED.
Joe is truly a versatile and creative instructor, with his easy to follow routines (choreographies); each dance move was easy to learn and were both fun and exciting, and what i loved the most is that entire class was in sync (60+ people). Every class is a different experience — it’s one big party! Joe’s playlist gets you pumped and his dynamic and magnetic personality is simply contagious. (did i mention that I absolutely love Joe’s smile). I can show up feeling a little blue and as soon as the class starts, i can’t help but smile, its like a wave of energy takes over me.
With Joe’s help i’ve dropped 34 pounds, (ok eating healthy also helps) but in all truthfulness all I can say is that Joe is an exceptional zumba instructor and once you try his class, i guarantee you will be hooked.
