They have missed 2 appointments, I am moving on

We had him tint a couple of the cars at my company. He did a pretty nice job on mine, and it was hella windy and very busy in the lot, but he still got it done. I am not sure why everyone on here is a hater.

warning!!! do not go to this guy for tint. he doesn’t know what he’s doing. did a really bad job prepping my windows, now there’s dust bubbles in between the glass and tint. called the guy back and he said dont roll down your windows for at least 3 – 4 days so that the glue on the tint can set, and that all the water bubbles will go away. he also told me to only clean my windows with a microfiber cloth using just water after 3 – 4 hours. after cleaning it off, i start noticing the imperfections of trapped dust particles, over cut tint, causing light to shine in, uneven cut on tints, scratches on tint, scratches and cuts on my moldings and door panels. and after 3 days have gone by, i called, text, leave voicemails, but no answer. it has been a week, and still no answer or return calls. so do not go to this guy. craigslist report has been filed, and investigation process is in the works. i would give this guy no stars, better yet more like a slap in his face instead at this point.

horrible experience! I wished I read the reviews on this guy, damn he came fast to tint my windows but once he got my money and left that was it. I attempted to contact him about the dirt in between my tint scratches and a long crease on my rear window, he said he will fix the problem, well its been three days now not responding to my texts or anything. All I can say is «bad karma» if you read this I highly advise you to think twice and just get your windows done at a real shop!

What ever you do don’t use Cuba Window Tinting, the guys name is Monte. They use water to apply material and the water was all over the exterior and interior of my brand new Porsche Panamera! He didnt even bother to clean or wipe it down, he threw all the tint pieces on the ground and in the car, I also had to clean that upi The windows have small air bubbles after over a month and some small creases. There are also some small areas that he missed and not tinted. Overall a terrible job. I thought I would save some time and have him come to my office — MISTAKE! I will continue to bring my cars to the best tint place in San Mateo-​Best Image (frank is the owner).

This people are a joke. I had my windows tinted today and in the same day the tint was coming off. I call them to come fix it and they did but he said to pay cheat and I expect a good job. All windown are full of bubbles and scratches..

I wish I had seen these reviews before I had Monte come out and take my money for a very bad job.
Bubbles, peeling, dirt under tint etc. — Monte told me to not roll the windows down for 2 – 3 days to the tint to settle. I rolled them down on day 6 just to see that driver side window is peeling in the corners.
Texted Monte about the issue and heard back from him pretty quick. «Sure, I will take care of it»
Days later now and he is ignoring me. You get what you pay for.
Sad part (for him) is that I had two other cars for him to tint but no way I will give that business to this company.

If you read this review DON’T get your tint job done by these guys they do a shitty job.
They have ruined my BMW and the guy wont answer the call now and didn’t even give a warranty paper. I have been calling him for two days and he keeps on saying ill be there in 2 hours I’m doing another job and more excuses and now this is the third day and he stopped answering calls and text messages.
They are also called CUBA WINDOW TINTING i think that’s what I saw on his van. Their number is 408−334−5282. If you see this number don’t call you are just going to waste you money. I hope I can sue them for this

I never met Monte (co-​owner) but Edwin was the one that installed my tint. Here are their phone numbers: (408) 430‑7334 OR (408) 334‑5282. If you see these numbers on Craigslist, DO NOT call them for window tinting! They will NOT guarantee anything and will do a CRAPPY job!
I had Edwin tinted my windows and there were bubbles everywhere but since they were tiny, I just ignored them. I’m not that picky. He did told me to wait 3 – 5 days and the bubbles should go away. What I did was left my car under the sun for 7 days without rolling down the windows (mind you, our weather here in Dec 2013-​January 2014 has been 65°-72°) and it didn’t get any better but like I said I didn’t care for these tiny bubbles. What I cared about were the wrinkles, folds, peeling and packed tiny bubbles that are about 3−5″ in size in my back window. It was terrible that I had to call them to have it re-​done. He had scheduled me 3x within 3 weeks but he never showed up in all 3 occasions. I wasted 3 days waiting for Edwin. He will talk to me over the phone and reply to my texts but after the 3^rd scheduled meet, he didn’t show up nor replied to my text and phone calls. Now I’m stuck with this POS window tint in my car. For the same price, you guys can go to a place where they do professional window tinting.
Also, the «VIPER» logo on the tint (about 2″ in width) that you cannot remove is right in the middle of the window in the rear passenger side and it’s upside down. Edwin said that he cannot remove/​replace that tint since that’s the «warranty proof». I understand the warranty but in that location? WTF? I have seen these logos before and they were placed in the lower corner of the window and they’re right side up. Not in the middle and upside-​down.
I hope I can help you guys but most of us that would look this company up had already done their window tinting and are looking for ways to get a hold of these guys.

The only reason i chose to do business with then was because they could come to me to tint my windows, instead of having to bring my car to a shop.
These people are not professional at all.
First off they did a crappy job with the tints. There were so many air bubbles! At first i thought this was normal but, after a few days passed i noticed dust and other things in between the film and window.
So i tried to contact them to get this fixed. Guess what, they ignore my calls, and brush off my text messages.
Bottom line. don’t do business with these people. All they care about is making quick money.
Pay a little more and get it done at a REAL shop with warranty, instead of some shady guy who does a shitty job and disappears.

This guy is shady as they come. My driver side window has so many bubbles, it looks like a child blew bubbles in the tint. Not only that. He came to my residence, left ALL his garbage on the ground next to my car. When I said, hey, are you going to toss this? He said, You take care of it my friend’. What a joke. He left all my interior doors soaking wet with his formula and was rude as hell. Wont answer calls or texts, I hope I find this guy out and about one day.

I hired these guys to tint my windows, and it was a big mistake.
I told the owner upfront, dont do this work if you cant do it right.
Im picky about this and if I see spots and bubbles Im not going to be happy. He garunteed me that anything I didnt like he would fix or retint.
He told me wait 2 weeks. This is absurd. Anyone tells you this is trying to buy time. It does take time to dry, but big spot ars not going away in two weeks. I check my car the next day after they did the work and the pics I posted you will see are what I had on my back window alone. Such a mess.
This is the best part. I call and another guy answers. I told him you should come check this out and try to fix it before its to late since it was just done yesterday, maybe you can fix it. He said around 6pm he could come. Never showed, never called. Sent text messages, and no reply.
I even left voice mail with no response.
Im sure he just donest repsond to messages from my number now.
So now Im forced to have to file case in small claims against these guys.
I highly suggest you do not hire these people.
The work is not quality, and he does not stand by it or honor the warranty agreements.

We wanted UV protection for our 2006 Nissan Sentra. I called around on Friday looking for quotes and checking on Unilocal*for reviews. Saturday morning I found a review on BAMWT and called at 8am to see if there were any openings. Their price was the lowest of the two mobile services I called and the 6 shops. They came just before noon to our home and were very polite and explained everything clearly. We chose 20% for the back and rear (5% is limo dark) and legal 50% for the front. I told them that I found them on Unilocal*and would be writing a review. They were very appreciative.
While they worked we were able to stay at home and do everything we normally do. They took two hours to complete the job and recommended that we keep the car in the shade for another three hours. We now have to make sure we don’t roll down the windows for a week for best results.
Our car has a bumpy, black material along the top of the upper rear window. We were told when we arrived that regular window tint would not stick to this and they used another material along the top of the rear window.
I’m very happy with the results and would recommend them to anyone who has a garage, carport or shaded area where they can work.
