Great great great sushi… But TERRIBLESERVICEEVERYTIME. it kind of sucks. This time the lady forgot about miso soup after I had to remind her 3 times… Name was(AMY E.) By the time I got it I was already done with my roll I didn’t even want the miso anymore. this place would be a lot better if they had better servers

Seriously one of the best sushi places in the area! No matter how many new sushi places I try, hands down, Yuki Sushi is still the best! Every time I come here, I am never disappointed. Their sushi is to die for! I don’t know why, but I can never remember what I ordered and what I like. but I can tell you is that I haven’t had a bad sushi rolls yet. I can recall one time I came here on a double date, and some of the waiters went around taking sake bombs with their tables! We were the lucky ones twice that took sake bombs with our waiter, it was really fun! There is always a wait, so make sure you come expecting to wait before being seated. They have great Happy Hour selections and prices too!

Try everything on the menu for real. Don’t be boring and order the same stuff every time! Your missing out on everything else on the menu. Been going here for a long time and even though the sushi chefs change from time to time the quality stays the same. So I recommend you try something new cause that could be your new favorite thing. Place is chronic thanks for filling my stomach with bomb ass fucking sushi! :)

Excellent sushi, Excellent service, highly recommend ;) We checked in to find there was a 30 min wait, the gal told us to check in and she would personally call our cell once the table was ready, we left to have a drink couple restaurants down and before we finished our drink she called :) We were celebrating a birthday, they also gave us saki bombs and ice cream w candle on the house.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki. They used dark meat rather than white. The strange cuts of chicken were inedible and off putting. 80% of its was fat. Will not be returning. Smells great inside though.

This place is incredible. The fish is fresh, service is fast and friendly. I always get the sashimi bowl of tuna and rice. Their paradise passion roll is innovative and delicious.

we have always come to Yuki Sushi for their fantastic Happy Hour foods n beer. it’s always a good dinner here n always a good time with friends too. unfortunately, everyone else thinks that also; meaning it’s always a packed house here after work. their sushi always tastes fresh(to me.) n we r always greeted by the servers or the owners with a smile. the owners(sisters I think.) r always chatting up the customers n r very gracious every time we r there. one time we came to get out to go items, they took over 30 minutes to have it ready for us. they gave us the whole dinner for free just for letting us wait! now that is service! the restaurant is located in downtown Willow Glen on Lincoln Ave. there’s a small parking structure at the end of the street, but that gets filled up really fast after 5pm. we usually park in the Bank Of America lot just a block away. shhh… don’t tell anyone. :) Baked Mussels: I usually order this cuz they put mayo n some tobiko on top. there’s always wakame(seaweed) on the bottom too. I like how they put the 3 things together. makes for good texture. The Shark Roll: he loves this roll cuz it’s got hamachi, his favorite type of sushi. the sauce is a bit spicy, but the spicy level is perfect. Agedashi Tofu: this is so tasty in the broth! the fried outer skin is so crispy n it’s always steaming hot. Shrimp & Veggie Tempura: one of my favorite things to order just cuz I LOVE fried foods. can’t go wrong with this dish. its perfectly lightly battered.

My friend and I are both brown rice eaters and on the look out for a sushi restaurant in the area that serves brown rice sushi. So we decided to try this place on the New Years day. We walked in at around 5:30PM when the place was already packed, but were lucky enough to get seated at the counter right away. I ordered a brown rice Rainbow roll that was very good but did not quite fill me up. So I ordered a small Hamachi(yellow tail) roll which was also excellent. I truly enjoyed the quality of these rolls, and will certainly go back for them. Unfortunately, miso soup did not come with these rolls, and had to be ordered separately. Typically, a bowl of miso soup comes with dinner at most Japanese restaurant. Their miso soup was $ 2.50, and did not have any flavor, just the miso colored warm water with 1 tiny piece of tofu. One star came right off from my review for this reason.

Loved this sushi place. They were very accommodating of my baby in a stroller and helped us get situated in a table out of the way. 1. Lots of variety in sushi and fresh /great tasting. We tried unagi, spicy tuna, scallops, some of their«favorites» menu, all were yummm 2. Appetizers: try the baked mussels, i loved those. Liked the prawn tempura. 3. Reason for deducting 1 star: Chicken kara age was too dry. Like cardboard, no flavor. Other than that, I am planning to go back and try the rest of their menu!

3.5 stars. I came here for takeout lunch on a weekday after taking barre class nearby. I ordered a brown rice bowl with sautéed vegetables and shrimp. Granted the restaurant was pretty busy, it took awhile for me to get my order. Portions are huge here! However, flavor-wise, I wasn’t blown away with my entrée. Perhaps I didn’t order the right thing? –L.

In short: A beautiful blend of tastes, all wrapped up into unique sushi rolls and other offerings at very reasonable prices! Should you try it? YES — THETASTESARESOGOOD Ambience: Yuki Sushi is amazing in tastes and quality of food. I think they could step up a little on the quality of the ambience. I just think they try to cram too many tables into too small a space(kind loud). We were super close to the couple next to us so it made it slightly uncomfortable to talk intimately. But our server couldn’t even fit in the space between our table and theirs. I get it though — the restaurant is popular and people are rushing in during the busy times. We got here early though during a happy hour time — so it was quiet and nice for the first part of the meal. Service: Great service! We loved our server and he seemed to be a happy guy. Location: It’s got a great location in downtown Willow Glen. Find street parking anywhere and walk right on over. Surrounded by other cute shops and quality restaurants so it’s a nice date spot. 3 Key Tips: 1) Come early for the happy hour specials on drinks and rolls 5pm-06:30pm! 2) Order an Urban Myth roll — thank me later 3) Not just sushi — lots of teriyaki dinner choices Recommended Dish: BESTSUSHIROLLEVER: Urban Myth: Shrimp tempura, avocado and cucumber topped with maguro, tempura crunch, spicy sauce and green onions. Listed under Chef’s specials and Favorites section. All the best tastes combined into one delicious 8-piece roll. So good.

Another sushi dinner in NorCal and another disappointment. Maybe it’s just me but none of the«highly recommended/rated» sushi places in NorCal have been good. Not to say this place is bad… but I guess it’s really a case of being good enough for your clientele… This place was pretty packed with a decent queue for a weeknight. Way busier than it should be for what you are getting. I ordered the Sashimi Moriawase dinner and the fish was«average.» The service was slow and could have been better.

Yuki Sushi is a wonderful place to bring kiddos! They always have a bucket of crayons, a coloring page menu, chopstick holders, and thoughtful staff. I love to bring my out of town family here to show off downtown Willow Glen and its many charms. It’s a nice friendly atmosphere during the day, and a cool date place and night.

My sister(Steph V.) is my sushi partner in crime. We like the same things and 10⁄10 times, want the same sushi rolls. When choosing a restaurant to satisfy our insatiable cravings for sushi, Yuki is always a safe and delicious choice. Our favorites include the hot and spicy tuna tartare and the big pavelski. The tuna tartare is listed as an appetizer but the portion is quite generous. Lots of tuna and salmon meshed together with avocado. They don’t douse it in the spicy mayo or Sriracha, which is actually what I prefer. Instead, the sauce is drizzled all over the plate so you can mix it with the tartar to your own liking. Awesome dish with yummy wonton chips to scoop the tartar. The big pavelski is my favorite roll here. Lots of ingredients but the seaweed salad topping is one of the best components. Order this roll, and you won’t regret it. Promise! Checking in gets you some free edamame. They’re lightly salted and great to munch on. Yuki sushi, thank you for feeding my sister’s and my addiction. We will definitely be back(probably sooner than we plan to).

Great prices, amazing quality. Check in on Unilocal and get that edamame appetizer, highly recommended. Service is great. Happy Hour menu is legit. Favorite roll is the Rambo Roll. Other items like Udon is tasty as well. Love the location of downtown willow glen, very homey feel.

A great sushi place in South Bay! I highly recommend this place, especially the hot & spicy tuna tartare appetizer. It’s basically a big mix of spicy tuna, salmon, avocado to eat with wonton chips. It definitely has a kick. There are a lot of rolls here, and I recommend the Big Pavelski roll(not just because I love the Sharks), and the Sunshine roll. The Big Pavelski has a LOT going on(spic salmon & cucumber roll topped with lots of things like hamachi, avocado, seaweed salad, & more I can’t remember), but it’s pretty good to share I would say. The Sunshine roll is simple(spicy tuna & unagi topped with salmon & lemon slices), but the lemon on top really brings it together. Also, check in on Unilocal for free edamame! The wait can get pretty bad here since it’s not a huge restaurant, but I’ve never been here without having to wait. The lunch deals seemed really good, so I want to come back and try that.

I’ve been slacking on my reviews. They don’t call me the review dawdler for nothing! *pats self on back* Located right on Lincoln Avenue in the charming neighborhood of Willow Glen, Yuki sushi is dotted amongst other neighboring eats. Voted best of Silicon Valley by Metro in 2014, they certainly live up to that honor. Their sushi and rolls are fresh, of excellent quality, innovative and darn tasty! I absolutely love that they don’t add an obnoxious amount of rice to their rolls and nigiri. Our must have’s are the Tetsu(x2) and Big Pavelski. I have yet to try their dinner combos but that’s only because it’s hard for me to get anything else but their sashimi, nigiri or sushi. I’m positive their entrees are delicious but I know I just can’t fail with my usuals. The wait time can make or break your experience so I recommend you call in your reservation by getting placed on the list while you make your way over. We’ve never waited at the restaurant for more than 10 minutes but if you so happen to be one of the walk in reservations that has to wait an hour, give them you number and they’ll call you when your table is ready. Again you’re right in downtown Willow Glen so you can people watch or stroll in to the many surrounding shops. A tab for two can run about $ 75 and that’s without drinks. Service is spot on, attentive without being overbearing. It’s family friendly so that’s a big plus for me.
