Xpressway Laundromat

Dryer stopped working tonight do headed over to this place. I had no clue what I was doing but no worries the guy in tonight got my card for me and got the dryers working. Really helpful. $ 3.15 for 2 large 24 minute loads which is not bad at all. Had no issue with parking but could tell its busy. Got a cart to take my clothes out of dryer with no issue and it was busy here this evening.

They kicked me out into the RAIN yesterday. It was pouring really hard and I went in there to stay dry until it stopped. There were about 3 people in the whole place. This short little Mexican woman came up to me and asked me in a very rude tone if I was washing clothes there. She then stood there watching me as I packed my stuff, put on my bicycle helmet and left. What an ugly little attitude for a short little woman. Poor girl.

Beware. This place cheats! The card takes more than what you put in. I spent about $ 10 on 2 loads of laundry when it should be a lot less than what each machine states.

I love this place! You can’t beat the hours. They were open at 7am and they close at 2am. I got here at 7:05 and there was only one person here. It’s super clean and you don’t need quarters (yay)! Plus who can beat free wifi while you are taking care of your laundry!

First time going there, actually first time at a different laundry place after six years, because the place I use to go to is getting remodel, so it’s closed. But anyways I really liked this place, the lady that worked there greeted me nicely. The place was nice, and clean looking. The only thing that was different, and kind of frustrating for me was that, when you use the machines you need to pay with a card. At times the dryer didn’t take it, so I had to try multiple times. But after a couple of tries I got it down. Either then that I would recommend going there :).

This is a great place I will be back. It’s clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and hard working to maintain the clean environment. The restroom is kept cleaner than some restrooms in restaurants!! Parking is a little tight but not impossible. most of all my clothes were clean!!!

Came here to wash my heavy blankets… prices are reasonable and it didn’t take me that long. A bit ghetto in here but everyone just minded heir own business. So you have to load a card with money to put in the machines. I out 49 and ended up using 31. I had no idea how much every bring would cost me and I figured 40 would be enough.
But then I tried to get the remaining 9 dollars back. I’m not returning here anytime soon and after the customer service I received that’s a certainty. Guy said that there is no way to get whatever money you still have in the cars back. He told me that I had either to leave it as it is or try to sell to another customer. Wait what? I said that there were no warning a about not getting your cash back and the guy ignored me. Very rude and bitchy actually. He then said that his boss is the only one who can give the money back and when I ask when is his boss in he tells me that he doesn’t know at all.
9 bucks is nothing, but their attitude was very unreasonable. Place is not that clean and there are less than 10 carts. Never coming back here

Ok… So I have read the reviews of this place and was like hey maybe this will work coz they open late and like i really need to do laundry after work. I was gonna ask how much it is to just drop off my laundry and just pick it up later but the person who picked up the phone hung up on me. I called to confirm if they really close at 2am coz you never know the business hours could’ve changed and so I was gonna ask how much is it to drop off and pick up but then the latina person (she sounded like one) hung up the phone. So much for «friendly staff» lol
I may edit this later and might add another star or two coz i will still go after work coz i really need to do laundry as i am going out of town tomorrow.

This was my first time having to use a laundromat and the staff was so helpful. He explained everything to me step by step and even went to my car and unloaded the rest of my laundry for me. I’m definitely going to be coming back here until our laundry unit is fixed at home. I don’t know too much about the average prices at laundromats but for my three loads I used about 40 dollars.

Came here for the first time to wash two comforters. I was having issues with getting the payment card and the gentleman working noticed & came over to help me. He also helped with figuring out which washer I should use. Nice, clean and friendly. Definitely will be coming back.

First time here, and so far, so good!
+ Walked in the door and was greeted immediately by Frank, the manager. Guess it was pretty obvious I didn’t know the drill. He was very helpful, brought me a cart, helped load my laundry, and explained the card payment system.
+ Lots of machines, clean, all different sizes, and the prices seem reasonable.
+ Nice amenities… TVs, wifi, and a convenience store next door. Makes the time go more quickly.
+ While I was waiting for my laundry, there were several folks who dropped off their laundry with Frank for later pick-​up. Not sure what that costs, but it seems like another nice convenience if you don’t want to have to wait.
— No major negatives, but location could be better. There’s easy access since it’s located right off Almaden Expressway (facing Chase Bank and McDonalds) but the parking lot is small, so during busier hours, you might have to park down the street. Probably fine during the day, but not sure I’d come late at night.

Can u have an amazing experience in a laundromat? Apparently you can if you come to Xpressway in Willow Glen. Clean, neat, several sizes of washers and best of all, Franklin the customer service attendant who walks through the whole process and even helps u figure out which machine will be most cost effective for your load. It’s like doing your laundry at Nordstrom’s (minus the piano). Seriously, this was the least painful laundromat experience I’ve ever had. Add in the $ 30 for $ 20 Unilocal deal and you’ve got a repeat customer. Thanks a bunch Franklin, for taking pride in your business. It shows!

Love this laundromat =) I come here frequently ever since we moved into the Almaden area and FRANKLYN WORK is my favorite attendant on site. I was able to purchase and redeem my Unilocal voucher (30 for 20) the other week. I love how HUGE the washing machines are here! Frank and the other attendants on site are awesome!

Excellent machines for washing and drying. I like that they have a super heavy duty washer for 25lbs for $ 8 per load in case you have a huge load of clothes. Works out much cheaper than putting the big load into different washers.
Parking is a problem because they share the space with a 7-​Eleven convenience store, but I could usually squeeze into a spot at the times I went. Mostly Sunday afternoons.

Had 2 huge piles of laundry to do decided to give it a try based on Unilocal reviews. It’s very clean. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted. I mentioned it was my first time at this laundromat Franklin who manages the place was extremely helpful very willing to explain how everything worked showed me how to save the most amount of money by choosing the right size washers to use walked me through the process of getting a laundry card, no quarters used here, but you do you need cash to load the card. Franklin walked around offering to help people, sweeping, tidying up, VERY good customer service!
Only reason it’s not 5 star is parking is cramped and very limited shares parking lot with 7 eleven. Sitting area inside laundromat is also very limited I sat in my car it was actually very comfortable.

Great place to do your laundry late at night!!! Conveniently next door to a ⁷⁄₁₁ so you can grab a drink and some snacks while you wait! The workers here are all very friendly and helpful! Was a first time customer and they showed me pretty everything! Even let me in on the Unilocal deal they had going on! 20 bucks for 30! Might as well right? Clean facility with a very clean bathroom. Plenty of washing and drying machines with a variety of different sizes for different loads. Really like the fact that they use a card system as opposed to coin operation. No more need to save up quarters for laundry day! Just swipe away! Very decently priced for washing and drying. Overall the place I will always go to do my laundry from now on! Definitely recommend!

Picture it.
Friday night. Two loads of sopping wet clean laundry. I’ve had one in the dryer for over two hours… still not dry.
Enter Unilocal and Xpressway.
I convinced my boyfriend to cart me and the laundry out and within 20 minutes my two huge loads of laundry were dry.
This location is fantastic. It sports a couple tvs, and a ⁷⁄₁₁ next door, which let me tell you, makes everything a million times easier. My expectations were broken, and shattered on the floor.
The dryers were huge and while I almost minused a star for the fact their card machine’s only take cash, our two loads and twenty minutes cost 4 dollars.
I’ll definitely be back.

I been coming here for half a year and I keep coming back. The owner keeps the establishment very clean, safe and friendly. He cleans the machines and helps you carry your stuff to your car. Top service and great experience. He has TVs on which is nice and he has a handy card system where you load money to the card. It s good price too.
Come here you will like it.

UPDATE 8÷18÷14 11:30AM (update to from 2 star to 4 star rating):
The same person who I complained about below and spoke to earlier called me back (unexpectedly)… He was VERY friendly and professional and I am thankful for that. This is the only reason why I am giving the new rating.
PS: He found the clothes and will hold them for me. Even if he hadn’t located the clothes and he called back as nice as he did just now, I’d still give the extra two stars for demonstrating good customer service and follow through.
My suggestion is to not call the first few hours of opening the doors if you need some ‘on-​hand’ assistance. It is my feeling that the gentleman was frazzled 45 minutes after opening and obviously did NOT want to deal with my little dilemma at the start of his day… but again, customer service is what matters to most of us… so at least offer to call me back during a more convenient time… don’t engage in condescending conversation.
Anyway, he redeemed himself ;) and all is well and hopefully you have a good experience. This place came recommended by a family member which is how I ended up there. Have fun.

I am giving a lower rating ONLY because the person who I just got off the phone with was being a total smart a** and I don’t have time for that nor do I want to spend money in a place who hires smart ass employees.
My situation:
I left a load of laundry in the washer yesterday (totally my fault – my rating has nothing to do with that). I called to check and see if I could get some info.
Crappy Customer Service:
I called 45 minutes after opening and explained that I left a load of laundry in the washer. I asked if he has seen or heard of a load of wet clothes being left behind since yesterday around 5PM. His response was, «I don’t know I just walked in and I don’t know what clothes you had here or what washer you used».
Well, that’s not what I asked. I didn’t ask for a description of my dirty clothes. And why did he just walk in when the place opened 45 minutes ago? Maybe that’s why I called for 45 minutes and no one answered. But I digress…
I then refined my question and asked if he had seen or heard of any clothes left behind in the 18 pound washer immediately next door to the 75 pound washer. He said again, «I don’t know I just walked in and haven’t checked the machines but someones using that machine right now». I asked him, «can I call back in a little while after you have checked?» His response: «I’m listening». —- Excuse me? What? Are we on the same planet? I don’t think you are listening, sir.
Bottom Line:
I am asking a relative to check for me as I work 20 miles away and the person on the other end of the phone is frustrating me beyond end and is not concerned or willing to walk 20 feet to the washer I used, or to check in the back for lost clothes.
I totally understand that that my clothes may have grown feet and walked out the door with another customer. I understand that he probably gets blamed for stealing peoples clothes when they forget them. I get it. But I wasn’t being an ass, I am a paying customer, and I needed some customer service and an appropriate response to my legitimate questions.

Had this person not been such a smart ass with me on the phone I would’ve given the place a 5 star after my very first visit because yesterday’s employee was extremely helpful, the place is very clean, and the washers and dryers I used were great. They even have wi-​fi, so I was able to do my homework while there (and forget about one of my loads of laundry in the washer-​lol!).
To the Owners:
It’s too bad this guy blew it for me. I hope he isn’t the owner and if he is – wow what a shame. If the owners read this, it is 8÷18÷14 and I called at 7:45 about this – so whoever is on the shift is not the friendliest person on staff. The gentleman yesterday, around 4:30 PM on Sunday 8÷17÷14 though, he was AWESOME and deserves to be recognized for his great customer service.

this is just the best laundromat in San Jose, great customer service, I’ve lived in San Jose for more than 12 years and had never seen laundromat employees help you carrying your clothes from or to the car, here you’re gonna get excellent customer service especially from this guy, Daniel. The washers/​dryers must be up to date, because they leave your clothes real clean. The site is always cleaned, and out of dust, this is the best laundromat I’ve ever been.
