Work 2 Future One-Stop Center

this place has resources that could supplement part of the career-​change process. A good place to go for a change in career. As this is the main training center, make all appointments and deadlines.

I am a very patient person, but when it comes to the Foxworthy One Stop Center, I just plainly feel like commiting suicide. It took 3 days for them to return my phone call, then when I went for my orientation, the women I saw was late from lunch. During my appointment she had to step out twice to smoke, recieved a personal phone call then had a visit from a family member, just to say hello. This is all during my appointment. She set me up with a password to enter some availuable training, but it never worked. I was never able to log in, and when talking to her superior, he is worse. He does not follow up with what he said he would do. How did these people get placed in these jobs? They work for us, but seems they think they own the place.

So rude!!!
I went there today and the lady I spoke to was just rude.
Not sure why that is the case… maybe they work really hard.

I got the schedule for the upcoming workshops and training — all free, I was interested in the Quick Books one so I called to reserve my spot but to my disappointment, I needed to see a «coach» to enroll so I made the effort to drive down here to have the coach enroll me.
You park, you walk in, you check in w/​the receptionist (told her why I wanted to see a coach and the class I was interested in), you wait FOREVER even though if you look around, resources and available coaches were available but only one was actively working so I waited an hour just to find out that the class is filled.
I find that the Campbell location is efficient because the front desk remains involved w/​the coaches, unlike this location. I will never come back.
The environment here isn’t as inviting as the other one and the computers (if you need to use the computers) are limited. this branch is small but they are moving in the next few weeks so hopefully their process work flows improves.

While this One Stop, no longer does «walk-​in appointments» I appreciate the fact that you can make an appointment in advance and the customer service is pretty good here. Even though lay-​offs suck (especially if they are through no fault of your own) you are not alone and the people at One Stop are incredibly non-​judgmental and understanding.

Before paying for any training, I would recommend looking here first and seeing what you can get for free.
