The greatest store I’ve ever experienced for collector’s of vintage toys, comics, records — you name it. These guys are flat out awesome.

5 stars for the toys they have.1 star for their attitude and lack of customer service. been in there a few times wanted to but some gi joes for my kids.1^st I think they are over priced on most items and the last time I went their this guys was selling stuff and I was looking for a far to see what he had I asked politely if I can see his toys from a far and the owner and his gf were rude.“NO you can’t we are buying it u can look after we buy”.1^st I don’t come to the store much and I was just curious & I’m not going to buy
this is my last time going their and I was gonna say something back but not worth it. they treated me like I was gonna steal their
general you ask them a question & just seem bothered so fuck them I will never spend a penny in there or let someone I know either.

So cool! Went here with my brother today and we both left with nostalgic gems. I bought my son a boxed April O’Neil action figure, (his uncle promised to teach him all about the toys/​cartoons/​shows we grew up with) an action figure I vividly remember from back in the day.
My brother bought the animated series bat mobile as that is his fav version of Batman. We just had a blast reminiscing as we looked through all the vintage memorabilia of our childhood. Store was a little dusty but it was fitting.
We most definitely will keep coming back!

My baby girl and I went here for our first time. And the lady worker with glasses was super busy, but friendly and made sure we were helped when we needed it. Its a small kinda shop, but had so many kinds of diff toys from dragonball Z, nightmare before christmas, astro boy, sailor moon, ghost busters, and many more. Even though we didn’t buy anything we were able to sell my binder full of garbage pail kids sticker cards, which i loved, but wasn’t necessary since we need to do a lot of clearing out since our current apt is smaller. Overall, we will be back.

The 2 guys behind the counter just looked at me as I walked in, didnt say hi or anything. When I asked for prices, he kept giving me a range… Example. Umm maybe between $ 20-​$ 30… He seemed hella lazy like he didnt want to get up and check. My 1^st time at the store and my last. They do have a cool selection but I refuse to give a business like that my money.

They’ve a very nice vinyl collection. They’re decently priced and are in great condition.
I’m not much of a comic book guy or toy collector, but they have a lot of stuff here. Parking is always easy to find. Owner is very nice is always engages in conversation with customers!

This store is a gem! If you are looking for a vintage toy from your childhood or even more recent, it is probably here. The owner and his wife are really cool, and I was so happy to be able to support such nice people.
They have a great selection, and they also have records and t-​shirts. I love local shops like this! Stop by if you’re on Bascom and support this one!

Very cool placed to visit. Joe is a great guy who know his vintage toys. If you are in the area you must stop by.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! hole in the wall but that’s the best part! The owners are very nice and welcoming. They carry tons and tons of old toys, antiques, records, comics, posters, tin lunchboxes, figurines, etc
The prices are fair and reasonable, I come here on a daily basics to see what they have new in store.

I’m giving this five stars, because every time that I go in there, I see awesome stuff. From old movie posters to Transformers and even a decent selection of old school Punk and Gothic records. Where else can you pick up a Star Wars x-​wing fighter, a Rat Fink model and a sisters of mercy record with a side of Throbbing Gristle in one place?
They always seem to have new stock coming in and the owners are extremely cool people to talk to.
They also buy collectables. The main day to go sell is on Thursdays. If you go on another day, they may tell you to come back on Thursday.
I have bought many Transformers and records here. Some of which were pretty rare.
they also produce the San Jose super Toy Show at the Santa Clara Fair grounds, which is a huge undertaking that they are great at. One thing to keep in mind is that they do stay closed for a few extra days around the time of the toy show, so it would be wise to call ahead to make sure that the store is open. the toy show alone earns them a few extra stars.

Woah. I could have easily spent all day here just looking at all the kooky old stuff packed into the display cases. If you have any interest in old comics, vintage cartoons, rocknroll memorabilia, or the past in general, stop in. I hope my house looks like this some day.

This place is heaven! I have been shopping here since I was in 5^th grade. I love all the random toys they have. I always have flashbacks to my childhood when I walk in. The prices are pretty even with ebay for toys from the 80s and 90s, although some items can be overpriced. They even buy some toys if you don’t want to sell it online. The people are fun and are able to find toys they may not have through some of their friends. They also have a toy show every 6 months or so at the fairgrounds. You can find some very cool toys at the show ranging from comic con exclusives to vintage Disney memorabilia, and they usually have awesome guests that do autographs and pictures. Really a good place to find toys from the past with helpful people. Worth checking out.

So if there was one place I could direct deposit my check, this would be it.
I was driving around town and went on Bascom for a shortcut, only to quickly see a toy shop on my right, so I pulled in. Also, if you’re a geek, this may be the greatest strip mall ever — Toys here; comic, cards, and video games right next door; a record store. Seriously, I need to limit myself to coming here once a month or I’ll just blow my paycheck.
Now I had heard of Time Tunnel Toys, but this was my first time in here, and it was more like an art gallery to me. Along all the walls, and the center column are display cases with toys from 50s to today. All different kinds: Transformers, Godzilla, MotU, GI Joe, TMNT, Aliens, and so many more. Some are in their original packaging, some are loose, and you really need to look around and double back.
As an avid Transformers collector, this was my heaven, and I finally got an original Mirage with all the pieces and cards. It wasn’t cheap, but this is something I’ve wanted for a long time. I made notes on a lot of the other figures I want to pick up after I wait another month.
The woman who was running the place was really nice and helpful, asking if I wanted to see anything before purchasing and explaining the history of the store, some toy conventions in the area. Also playing some awesome 80s Punk.
So, if you like or collect any toys made in the last 50 years, this is most likely your best spot. They also buy and rent out display space if you have a collection you are trying to off load.

One of my all time favorite vintage toy stores. Joe and Sharron have an amazing assortment of vintage toys in this shop. It is PACKED from floor to ceiling. Excellent selection and always a pleasure to go and talk to them.
They also put on THE best toy show in the Bay Area. I can’t wait for the next one.

Whooooaaahhhhh… I’m a kid again!
Wow is this place nostalgic. I mean I literally could remember the first time I saw some of these toys as a kid.
I’ve come in a few times and every time have found something cool and fun. Last time I went through old magazines and found some really cool stuff from the 60’s. Absolutely worth the stop… nicest people and great layout of goodies.
Keep it nerdy… keep it local.

Man, I can’t say enough good things about Time Tunnel… this place has been here since I was a kid, and it’s always been my favorite store to go to in San Jose! It has all cool, classic toys, and even some cool new ones. I just go and stare in awe at all my childhood favorites. From Transformers, Gobots, and He-​Man, to Alien, Star Wars, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this place has something for everyone. Every time I go in, there’s at least 10 things I want to buy. And there’s always new stuff coming in. Also, thank you Time Tunnel for all the amazing Toy Shows at the Fairgrounds! I’ve met some great celebrities over the years at those, and always come home with bag fulls of awesome toys!

I love this place. It’s old, weird, filled with strange toys, strange clerks (not a dig, this is a good thing) and great toys.
I don’t by enough stuff from here… mainly because my house is filled with stuff that belongs here.

With a boyfriend who is obsessed with Transformers, Ninja Turtles, Mega Man, etc, etc, the shop has a lot of toys he had as a kid or still has.
The owner seemed busy with business but still insisted if he needed help, he’d help us. Plus, I overheard him say Unilocal can kill a business. Haha!

I had no idea that this place existed until a couple days ago!
I some how stumbled upon this shops Unilocal page and decided to check it out the same day since I had nothing else to do. This place is located fairly close to the Pink Poodle (LOL) and Savers on San Carlos and Bascom. I never really expected such a shop to exist around that area so I was a bit skeptical of what this place was going to be like.
This place was truly a vintage toy shop. It had so many items that dated back to way back when I didn’t even exist yet! :P Some of the collectibles were open while others were sealed. They had all sorts of old collectibles of transformers, marvel toys and movie collectibles. They didn’t have that many comic books in the shops but regardless, all the other collectibles made up for it.
Will most likely return here, when I have money! :)
