Rocket Fizz Soda Pop and Candy Shop

this store is a little treasure trove of awesome stuff you haven’t seen since you where a kid (no matter your age!)
candies and toys galore! definitely stop in and check it out!

When the Dunn family I was so excited as I love a great candy store and having lived on many continents, it is particularly wonderful to find candies that I otherwise would not get to enjoy again. The service staff are helpful, kind, funny and always a joy. Tonight I dropped in for my weekly shop and met Danny who was just fantastic in helping me find what i was looking for and his good attitude was infectious… If you love sweets and kitch… Rocket Fizz is THE place to go!!!

Pretty interesting place (literally, the whole place is filled with either candy or soda pop-​I think there were over 40 different types of soda pop).
The decoration is quirky as well (they sell the paper and tin band/​cartoon/​message signs that they have lining the walls too.
The sodas were okay priced (two for $ 4.80ish). I think some of the candy was overpriced though.
One thing was that the soda I bought expired this past July.______. (I drank it, but I seem fine).

So this place is really cool and wanted to come here because I saw it on television. They have so many different types of soda and candy. So much that it was hard to choose. The service was great and they seem like they really love their jobs. Although the sodas I tried were not that great but maybe it was just me. It’s a great place for interesting presents. I would come here again but it is just so far away.

I felt like a kid again! Truly a kid in a candy store feel! This place is amazing! I’ve walked by so many times while in downtown Campbell but never went inside but this day was different. I walked in and BAM! All types of candy everywhere! Candy I didn’t realize they still make from when I was a kid 20 years ago! I ended up buying the gummiest gummy bears ever, bacon chocolate and bacon cotton candy (they have a huge bacon sweets section). I know it’s not too much but I don’t even like or eat candy soooo this place tempted me so much that I had to get something! Love this candy shop!

I was really excited to go into Rocket Fizz after a late night dinner. Great selection of candies and sodas. I looked all over the place for tootsie rolls and finally found them in a container on the counter. Not only did I find tootsie rolls, but they were next to my other favorites – caramels!
My excitement diminished after I purchased them: stale tootsie rolls :(I guess I should have known – no one really likes tootsie rolls, after all.
Today I was excited to eat my caramels, only to see one was expired 6 months ago :(Oh well, I still had one more, right? Expiration: October 2014.
Fail.

It’s every kid’s dreams the candy store! They sell every kind of candy imaginable to satisfy your sweet tooth! Get your sugar fix here! So many awesome German candies available here, including gummies and chocolates! Try the Tear Jerker cotton candy; it’s going to bring tears to your eyes!

Immediately makes you feel like a kid again when you walk in!
This place really takes novelty candy and soda to a whole other level. They have all different kinds of imported candies, a lot of which I had never even seen or heard of before. It makes it really fun to try new candies having no clue what they are. The soda selection is pretty damn amazing as well, they even carry sodas that taste like food (gross, I know). The place has a very old-​school feel (think 1950’s) to it and I can appreciate that extra touch. The employees here are super friendly, greeting us on the way in and wishing us a good day on the way out. The one gripe I have is that it’s a bit expensive, but that is to be expected really.
I recommend you check this place out, even if you aren’t going to buy anything it’s still a cool little shop!

Fun store. They had lots of different sodas. The employees were absolutely wonderful. They were extremely friendly and welcoming.

What an awesome, retro style candy shop.
You want obscure candy? They have it. You want Japanese candy? they have it. You want English candy, they have it. You want gross candy? It’s there.
Soda too! I saw BAWLS! I haven’t seen blue bawls in some time (No double entanre intended! Their selection was second to none, and the young guys working were happy to chat about what they had there too.
I even found an «Inflatable evil unicorn horn» for my cat. I bet it will stay on for less than a minute when I get it affixed.
And you know that «Candy crush game you play? Yep, it’s got real merchandise associated with it… Yep.

Buffalo Wing Soda, Artificial Foie Gras Bubble Gum, and Salsa/​Spaghetti flavored mango candies… they’ve got ‘em all here and I bought ‘em.
Nope, I’m not pregnant… not unless there’s some serious virgin Mary ish going on inside my person. I’m just a regular olé disgusting human being who likes to do/​eat stuff just to say I did it.
You could spend an hour+ in here circling and still only scratch the surface of seeing what they have to offer. Rocket Fizz is truly unlike any other candy/​soda shop out there and I can’t get enough of it.
A lot of the stuff they sell here sounds downright disgusting (ranch dressing soda, pimple pop cream soda, cat pee soda, etc) but it’s perfect for hilarious gag gifts and novelty type good times.
They’ve got pretty much any type of candy you can think of and then some– most are pretty affordable but it can certainly get expensive. I needed to pick up a crap ton of Ring Pops here and I hadn’t realized the going market price for those babies were now hovering around .99 cents each. I don’t want to get all, «back in my day», but I def remember those puppies coming in around the .39-.59 cent mark just a few years ago. Yeesh. Thanks, Obama.
Service here is quirky, much like the store, and I think that’s A-​Ok. They’ve got a ton of inventory and I just don’t think it would be human possible to know about all of it, but they do a damn decent job and the shop’s organization is impeccable.
I love coming here every time I’m in Campbell and there’s usually easy peasy parking available along the cross street and if you go during the day during the week you probably won’t see a single kid in the candy store, which IMO as a psuedo-​kid hater, is the best kind.
The only bad thing I can think to say about this place is that the employees working the register call me «ma’am», which is insulting because I’m 31 and pretty chill and not a 67-​year old schoolmarm like their use of the word «ma’am» would imply. «No, ma’am» ~ Al Bundy

Not big on candy and in my opinion there are two types… Chocolate and everything else.
This place is the Willy Wonka emporium of everything else. Amazing selection, something for everyone, a little nostalgia no matter your age and how sweet your appetite was as a kid.
Always fun just to walk around and see the variety and sometimes off the wall or unusual flavors. Most recently tried the Haribo sour gummy bears. Although they were not sour at all, almost to the point of false advertising I did bother complaining or wasting time going back.
Truth is Haribo GB are my current sweet tooth Fav. and at the end of the day that’s what these Faux Sour GB’s are!
If you are in the hunt of some old school, neat, different sweet treats this is a great place to start and worth the minor parking headache Downtown Campbell can give anyone of us.
So, whether you go in cold turkey or after a few drinks at one of the establishments near by this place is always worth a visit and a fun time.
Staff is super helpful and friendly too!

This place is cute, just your average candy shop. It has ulcerative candies from a bunch of different cultures, also a large variety of candy types. They also have some trinkets and games and hats and toys and etc.
The staff there pretty nice, when you ask him a question they’re willing and gladly to help. And it just doesn’t seem like they’re paying attention 100% of the time.
The store is very clean and organized, so if you can’t find something just asked and you’ll be able to find it easily. I really like their candy picking section where you get a bunch of candy and put it into a bag I don’t remember the exact price, but I remember it being more reasonable than other places.
Overall, a great shop but I don’t see myself coming here in less I’m just in the neighborhood and need something sweet.

Rocket Fizz has a ton of unique types of soda as well as brands/​flavors that you can regularly find. Pretty affordable at about 2 bucks a bottle. I tried the butterscotch root beer and peaches and cream which were both bomb. Some flavors that I put on my to get list for my next visit are green tea and banana. Also saw strange flavors like bacon, pb&j, and kitty piddle (???). Definitely a fun and adventurous place to get something more special. Additional plus for being located in downtown Campbell where there are plenty of other things to see and eat.

.need I say more? Twas a bang for your buck ($ 7.00 for what seemed like an eternity of taffy, but the costumes and other trinkets sold there were a bit overpriced. I mean a unicorn mask for $ 59.00… what?!
The customer service was fine, and the attendant was informational.

As I stepped foot into this place, I felt like a kid again. This place was filled with more than your eyes and stomach can handle. I love the whole layout of the place.
I love their albanese gummy bears they have here! They come in such an assortment of flavors and the texture is spot on. This is one of my primary reasons to stop by if I’m in the area.
They also sell other treats that aren’t available elsewhere.
Only downside, it’s pricey.

I really don’t have a sweet tooth, but I love candy colors and the packaging. It’s wonderful to walk into a store like this and just see tons of cool graphics and colors popping out at you. Can’t be mad in this store.
Candy from all makers, some are just out of this world, very strange names. I just loved being in here, though.
Tons and tons of candy. The walls are covered in repro tin signs. Definitely a fun place to visit.

VIOLET CRUMBLE.
I can’t believe I’ve finally found my favorite candy bar from my childhood, right here in Campbell. I’m a little sad at the price tag (about $ ⁵⁄₁ giant bar), but I guess they did have to import it from Australia… People who work here are super friendly and outgoing, and they have just about every candy you can possibly imagine. Green Tea Kit Kat? Hello Kitty «Lottepie»? 10+ flavors of Pop Rock candy? You name it.
I just wish the price wasn’t so steep! For example, their Pop Rock Candy (one packet) was a dollar, when I’ve seen them as low as $ 1 per 3 packets. But it does force me not to buy the entire store and eat them all in one day. I shall be back when I feel like getting sugar high again.

FUN!!! makes me feel like a kid in a candy store… oh wait…
they have a good mix of old-​time candy and new stuff, plus a whole lot of just really fun stuff. bacon frosting? uhm… sounds gross, but kinda funny. we always find way more than we needed, and always have fun in the process. sugar high!!!
and soda, omg do they have a huge selection of sodas! wow! it’s fun to just wander around checking out all the different varieties.
prices are kind of high, but i think that’s the case with any of these candy stores. they don’t seem worse than any others.
